Swallow Cottage, Auldgirth - north of Dumfries.

Swallow Cottage was lovingly converted by Steve and Sarah from McMurdoston's old granary in 2014 and provides a wonderfully peaceful place to stay while exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The cottage is only 20 minutes drive from a 24-hour supermarket, a cinema and numerous eateries, but once you get here you'll feel as if you are truly in the middle of nowhere. We live just across the yard if you need us and we'll do everything we can to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and quietly memorable.

Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Deluxe glamping pod in private garden in rural South West Scotland. No noisy campsite interference. Children welcome but need supervision in garden as we have a pond and stream. Brigston Cottage is one of the oldest in the hamlet. It is centrally located in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway Ideal for exploring the whole area.This is a non pet property.

A beautiful 5 bedroom house set in a semi-rural location within 10 minutes drive from both Dumfries town centre and Thornhill. There are many things to do in Dumfries. It can be a parkland golf course, mountain bike trails at the 7 stanes, camera obscura, a farmers market, restaurants, children's play parks, hills, rivers, forest walks and much more. Dumfries' museums are also treasure troves for uncovering the local history including Robert Burns.

Charming chalet in peaceful rural location.

Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening. Our neighbours are all of the four legged variety so some countryside noises are to be expected but the cows love to come and greet you at the wall. Parking space in garden
