A very good place to stay, would recommend people to come here

Great accommodation with well equipped kitchen. Franklin is a good location to explore the area. We went down to the South Cape walk also the Caves and Skywalk. Super helpful host and apartment was well equipped with additional food items for us. Very comfortable.

Beautiful vista from top of hill in dead end street over looking Mona and waterways from Rosetta..Double glazing and air con and modern kitchen,comfortable bed made it a very attractive place to stay.We liked seeing the Paddy Melons and kangaroos feeding belowdining bench of an evening. A fairly steep drive way entrance leading to steps with rail down to apartment below very quiet house above. Thank you Pete for a wonderful week stay.

Over delivers amenities, secure parking space and quiet safe neighbourhood. Helen and Dennis are extremely thoughtful hosts in their preparation before , and during. Very comfortable quality bedding , bathroom & kitchen facilities Highly recommended

Gavin’s small little bedsit was the perfect space for 1 or 2 adults, close to Cascade Brewery and Mt Wellington. It was super clean, the bed was comfy and the small garden was active with bird life and views of the mountain. Although the unit is located at the bottom of where the owners live, it is private with your own space.

Angela was a very good communicator, very friendly when she greeted us on arrival. And communicated very well during our stay. The provisions Angela supplied surpassed what we expected and everything was lovely. Highly recommended Angela as a host for your requirements in and around the Hobart area.

Paul’s place was delightful - a perfectly appointed self contained set of room with a beautiful sitting room and balcony view over the river valley. The thing that really made this stay special was the attention to detail and the little extras at no cost - homemade jam and marmalade, fresh milk and breakfast materials. And in the evening the wallabies come down from the forest and nibble at the lawn at the back of the house. A great get away. Many thanks - Simon

The place was beautiful, looked new and very nicely decorated. Clean and had everything we needed for nearly a weeks stay. Even though the accomodation was behind the main property, we had all the privacy we could need. Thank you Shirley, would definitely come back

Lovely house and quiet given its location. Beautiful rooms and gardens

The host was very informative and warned us that we needed a reservation for the local restaurant and that there were no other close eating options. We got a reservation and the food was delicious! The view from the front deck is spectacular. We saw wallabies in the yard. There was an issue with a valve on the hot water being turned off when we arrived. But our host was communicative on the issue and we had it resolved quickly. We thought the house was an excellent value and loved the view. We highly recommend this place to stay.

We had such a fantastic stay at this lovely spot in Dover! The house was spotless, super tidy, and had everything we needed. Even the fire was prepped and ready to light, which made for the perfect cosy nights in. We loved the bikes (even if we’re not quite Tour de France material), and while it was too chilly for the kayaks and paddle boards, they’ll have to wait for our next trip! We had a great time exploring the local area and Hobart, caught some fish off the local pier (dinner sorted!), and made the most of the amazing local apple suppliers. A big thank you as well for the lovely bread you left for us, such a thoughtful touch. You really made our stay special, and we hope to come back!

What a great place to stay - highly recommend! Our group absolutely loved all the extra's that Alex had waiting for us on arrival at the house - we definitely appreciated it after a long day of travel. Very clean, spacious house that was perfect for our group of 7 adults. The house has everything you need for your stay & the Spa is an added extra bonus. The Cygnet Butchery is open every day (highly recommend the bacon, ham & steaks from here) & the IGA Supermarket is close by to stock up on supplies. This house is a great place to base yourself & explore that area of Tasmania. We could not fault a thing & would love to return again in the future - Thanks Alex!

We just love this guest house on Abel’s Bay! This felt just like home to us, full of books, shells, collectibles etc. It was private and oh so quiet. We enjoyed sneak peaks of the pademelons hopping about. Sean being a birder enjoyed the bird life too. We were very comfortable at the cottage and hated to leave. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. We likely will never make it back, but we will always have fond memories of you home.

This house is in a quiet location with a fantastic deck and lovely gardens front and back. The location is close to MONA, the city and the airport making it a very convenient. Samantha is a great host and well deserving of her super host status.
