Our family really enjoyed our stay. The beach was really close and beautiful, and uncrowded . The house has been well maintained and has had loads of extra spaces added. We used their grill which worked great, enjoyed their fireplace and the kids loved the game room. Super convenient to use the garage door for loading and unloading. Lots of parking places and really reasonable pricing! Thanks for the great memories!

Great one-nighter in Florence Oregon! One block from the ocean- super cute tiny-home! Clean, comfortable and thoughtful touches (creamer for coffee) and to-go cups to take our coffee to the beach. Definitely would recommend.

Our family stayed for two nights and had a blast watching movies, playing games and walking on the beach. House has a beautiful view of the bay and the bridge. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

Honestly an unbelievable location to be right on the water. The best place we’ve stayed at yet - plus everything was well supplied and clean and you have a binder of information and instructions to help with exploring and enjoying the stay. Duke was incredibly responsive and helpful if we had any questions. Highly recommend !!!

This little house is a delightful place to stay. The day room off the living room is particularly pleasant to spend time in. There is lots of light and a good view of the ocean. The kitchen is excellent - we did a lot of cooking in it. The main bed is comfortable. My only somewhat critical comment is that the shower is pretty tight, even for small women, but it is absolutely clean and nicely equipped. The location is, for us, ideal - right at the meeting of the rocky 804 trail along the coast with the miles long beach to Waldport. The house happens to be the same one (nicely renovated) that my partner and I visited many times years ago, so we had a feeling of coming home to an old beloved place that was really special. The house was in a location that was private and easy to get to town for groceries. Views from the house to the ocean were fantastic. The house itself has a lot of stairs which can be a problem for those with ambulatory challenges. Waldport is a quiet town and less touristy, which we appreciated. We loved our 8 day stay there. We also appreciated Jon's flexibility in allowing us to reschedule at the last minute due to a family situation that arose.

Very cozy and adorable and the view couldn't be beat! We loved the octopus theme and accents and enjoyed the VHS collection at night. It was great being so close to the beach and when not on the beach, we enjoyed the excellent beach views from the living room and the rocking chairs on the deck. We would definitely return in the future!

This was one of my favorite Airbnb's ever, the easy walk to the endless beach was perfect for us and heaven for our dog. The Airbnb was beautifully and eclecticly decorated and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. Would love to stay again!

We throughly enjoyed staying at Jerry's place! It was extremely relaxing and close to the family we were visiting. While the pool and river were great features, the highlight of our stay was Gemma the dog! My daughter has proclaimed her to be her oregon dog and wants to send her a Christmas gift this December. Jerry was an excellent host! 10/10 highly recommend!

The house was welcoming from the very first moment we got there. Everything was placed in a perfect way and labeled. Never had to look very hard for anything. The house was super well stocked and had all the amenities to make us feel right at home. It was a wonderful location, amazing to just literally step right off the deck and be on the beach. When down on the beach it was very quiet and never busy. Felt like we had our own beach most of the time. Debbie was a wonderful host and always there if we had a question. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

This home was very well stocked and fit 2 families very comfortably. The beach is just a step away and the back deck has great sunset views. Fantastic location!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place to stay! The amazing sandy beach is just 3min walk away, or the mouth of the river just 2min walk. And, the big backyard is just perfect for kids and pets! Of course the pool was a big hit with our kids! Great location to discover the beautiful nature around, while feeling like you are glamping at a great place. Really recommend!

This place was perfect for what I was looking for! So cute and styled with vintage items throughout. Pool was not yet ready which was ok considering I went there to fish. Caught a couple good sized trout right from the bank a short walk down the hill. Teresa was very quick to answer any questions, brought us extra blankets and was overall a great host! Very comfortable vintage style beds and parts of the kitchen. However the stove and fridge were newer and bathroom has a heated bidet toilet ( that can be used like a normal one) and a large walk-in shower with duel shower heads, one being a rain shower. If your looking for somewhere to sleep in a dark space, this is not it. Sky lights filled the room with light and told me when it was time to go fishing! Made a wonderful end to a long trip. Thanks again!

This place is incredible. You won't find a better spot. The backyard is sand dunes that lead to the Pacific Ocean, and, to what feels like, a private beach. This is especially perfect for one or multiple families. Six bunkbeds and lots of toys and a play area for small children. Our kids had an absolute blast! You'll love this spot, and Claudia is super responsive to any needs that may arise :)

The house was perfect for our getaway. The kids enjoyed the backyard sandy area on the dune and the private dune trail was super cool, espeically for sunsets. We did think it had better beach access-didn't know the dune has a steep dropoff—but there is nearby public beach access which is easier to use. The separate entry for the downstairs was a bit tricky if you have small kids that want to bunk down there but we managed. Everyone had a great time. House was well cared for and the kitchen was stocked with many essentials and we really appreciated that they left condiments and other things in the fridge door. You don't often see that! 10/10 would book again.

This house was perfect for our family over Thanksgiving. You can’t beat the ocean view that we had for our Thanksgiving dinner! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking our meal. The house was very clean. We would definitely rent this house again if we were staying in this area.

I do not even have words to describe Heather‘s place!! Not only was the home beautiful, it had so many personal touches that make it feel like you live there. It is so well decorated, and so cozy! The view alone is to die for. My mom and I found some golden Chantrell mushrooms in the forest around the home and got to cook those with our dinner. But most importantly, Heather was fantastic. Not only a great host, but you can tell she is a great person. I would come back here again and again.

Beautiful home with spectacular river and ocean views. Gated and private on two lush acres (with a little waterfall!), but close to town. We saw deer, seals, and so many birds. Loved the details - pleasantly surprising amenities, ready for cooking, clean in every corner, and comfortable beds and furniture. Mark is a great host! We’ll be back.

Our mixed generation family loved the house. So much room for different activities. Lots of different sitting areas. Good beds. We didn’t use the little house. Had more than enough room in the big house for the 10 of us. Kitchen is very well equipped, many specialty appliance, nice choice of coffee makers. Lots of spices and condiments. Dining table sat the 10 of us. Deck had many chairs and tables. Loved having the hot tub with a view. Grandkids loved all the games upstairs.

We had the best stay at the beach house. The moment we pulled up just as the sun was setting behind the lighthouse we knew we were going to have special visit. We are roadschoolers.. meaning my home schooled some learns on the road inspired by the area we are visiting. This location was perfect.. the tide pools below were teeming with life. Just be mindful to check the tide schedule :) we toured Umpqua Lighthouse (in Winchester) as well as the coast guard museum.. so knowledgable and also very reasonably priced. The guide also helped us look on the horizon and spot migrating whales :) We did visit the redwoods one day.. a 2.5 hour drive south, chartered a fishing trip and visited the Charleston Marine Center. Dinner at the Hilltop Grill was also treat! We cannot thank Michael enough for his hospitality and was a pleasure to meet him! We are already planning return trip!

The perfect sanctuary, we especially loved morning yoga on the patio, taking a dip in the river, hanging by the firepit. Great use of space, perfect for a small group of friends coming together and wanting to reconnect with nature. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is better than the pictures. They don’t do it justice. The house was very clean, I’m a stickler on clean floors and I could walk barefoot in this house! The walk to the beach is like 2mins max it’s pretty much her back yard and then the ocean. We will be staying here again for sure and my boyfriend has already recommended it to his friends.
