The Bungaloo is ideal for a 2 person stay. Well equipped, clean and tidy. Kath is a great host. Communication with her was great, friendly and helpful, especially when I somehow managed to murder the toaster! Bed was comfortable and the shower was really good. Everything we needed was supplied, with a great welcome pack. Waking up to the sound of the birds in the aviary was great. It’s a minute walk to the Jolly Sailor where you can get a great meal. A few more minutes and I’d recommend the Old Sardine Factory. The seafood chowder is to die for. There’s a great deli and a Spar shop a minute away. It’s a 10 minute walk over the bridge to East Looe. Sarah’s Pasty shop do the best pasties and Martin’s Dairy do delicious bread. Easy for the coastal path to Talland or Polperro. We got the bus to Polperro from next to the fire station and then walked back. We’ll definitely return as we loved our stay so much.

Simply can not recommend this place enough! The area is fantastic and having the opportunity to relax in a hot tub under the stars is something everyone should experience at some point. The property is in a lovey village with everything in reach. The local food and bar scene are equally amazing with Plymouth not too far away. A lot of culture to fit in, I wish we’d stayed longer. Holls went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. And we will definitely be returning! 10/10.

This place is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from anywhere in town. Best of all, it has parking, which I'd say is a must. The breakfast fare was beyond expectation with great bread, yogurt, fruit and no shortage of coffee pods and teas. We'd book again in the blink of an eye if we ever visit Sidmouth again. It was great, we were sorry not to meet the hosts!

Hilary & Graham are great hosts, they made us feel home right from the moment we arrived. Property is exactly as described in a very good location with nice hill and valleys on all sides of the property. Nice backyard connected to a big garden for kids and dog to play. We would love to come back here again.

Sue's place was like a home from home. It had everything we needed and it was clean and cosy. It was in a peaceful location and the only sound we heard was the moos of the cows from the farm. It was the perfect base to explore Hope Cove, Salcombe and Kingsbridge. Had a very enjoyable stay.

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

Sally and Steve were lovely hosts and their beautiful place had everything you might need for your stay. They even treated us with fresh produce on arrival, which was very nice and thoughtful. The surrounding area is beautiful and we wish we had better weather to enjoy it even more. Thank you 😊

Andrea's place is in a great location - close to the centre of Wellington but private and peaceful. The property is spacious, well furished, and has all the facilities you need for a very comfortable stay. Andrea communicated well with us and provided very detailed instructions for accessing the property. We would definitely like to return if we are in the area in future.

We had a fabulous stay in the Hideaway! The accommodation was fantastic with everything we needed. Emma and Dave were lovely hosts who were very informative of the area and gave us lots of recommendations. We would definitely love to stay again!

Great stay, used as a stop over for sons rugby festival in Launceston. Host set up sofa bed without being asked, we arrived at 10:30 at night due to travelling down the night before festival so we did not have to have a 5:30am start. Great location 7 minutes away from our destination, host allowed late check in. Only thing we struggled with was key box in dark and no signs so we walked around house two times to find correct box.

The host was amazing very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was spotless and was home from home. We were left presents...local marmalade, shortbread biscuits and chocolates on Easter Sunday. We would definitely come again .

Thank you so much Bonnie this place was exactly what we needed with all the little amenities you could want. Very close to a corner shop and a little walk away from the town centre. We thought it was going to be smaller from previous reviews but were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable we were. All was wonderfully clean too with a very comfortable bed! We would definitely stay here again.

This was perfect. We had to find accommodation at short notice and it was beautiful, really inviting, spotlessly clean, and so very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer under different circumstances. The whole process was very efficient and Vicky was so helpful and informative. Great parking space and easy to find. It really was a gem and very private. ! Beautiful furnishings and loved the en-suite. Everything of a high standard. Thank you Vicky and Craig for our stay.

The Pitstop is super cosy and clean, just right for a few nights stay. Laura welcomed me when I arrived as it was dark and helped me get in, she had also bought me some milk, which I really appreciated. The accommodation is perfectly located to visit surrounding towns.

Just a really lovely place to stay. Gen was brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was fabulous. The accommodation itself was exactly as described, beautifully decorated, the most comfortable bed and a wonderful bathroom! Gen and Mike have really gone the extra yard with their attention to detail. We had our 2 dogs with us and there were loads of nice walks near by including down to the sea. Also some convenient shorter walks to let them stretch their legs etc before bed time! Would recommend a trip to Topsham…fab cafe to go for breakfast near to the quay with amazing crepes…The Boathouse. In the village the Red Wing (6mins walk) is a great place for a pint and The Swan (8 mins) a great place for food. If you’re staying in then Fords Farms fish (grilled) and chips takeaway was well worth the 10 mins drive. Essentially we loved our stay that fully met and indeed exceeded our expectations!

Perfect base to explore Salcombe and surrounding areas. Only 7 minute drive into the heart of Salcombe. Really clear instructions to find the property. Amazing recommendations for local restaurants and more on request. All were spot on - they are clearly foodies! Lovely and clean little garden cabin which was well equipped, gorgeous bathroom. I did feel a little anxiety about instructions to not get makeup on the white sheets but plenty of make up wipes and face cloths were provided so was fine in the end! Communal space is small so if you are a couple, take just the one suitcase - but well thought out to provide everything needed for a holiday escape. Would definitely recommend - thanks for having us!

What a fantastic accommodation choice. Brilliantly presented and equipped with absolutely everything that you could need. Dee and Steve were fantastic hosts, providing facilities above and beyond the normal. As we were walking the Tamara Way this provided a perfect stop off at the end of day two.

What a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped and had everything that we needed. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, we loved the hot tub and - like many reviews before - the shower was one of the best we’d ever had! Lyme Regis is a 25 minute walk away, which was very manageable. The local pub, the Talbot Arms, is a mere 3 minute walk away. The food was fantastic, staff were friendly and they had a great pool table! Would recommend a fishing trip with Blue Turtle Charters and a trip to Pebblebed Vineyards for a tour. Sarah was responsive and gave lots of useful recommendations for the local area.

Wonderful base from which to explore this beautiful part of the world. Comfortably fitted out with everything I needed. The annexe is surrounded by garden and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of birds and the elements. It’s a short walk down the hill into the picture pretty village, with the village shop very well stocked for basic provisions and the pub and Otterton Mill for meals out. There were great suggestions for scenic local walks to Budleigh Salterton, Bicton Gardens and along the River Otter, which I tried out. I had total privacy during my stay but it was great to know Jackie and family were next door in case of emergency as I was travelling alone.

We had a lovely short stay at Oakleigh View. Barbara was a great host, always responsive to messages. The accomodation was perfect for the three of us and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

Lizi was a fantastic host. Went the extra mile with helping us decorate the place for a surprise birthday visit. Nothing was too much hassle and made us feel really welcome. Would definitely recommend this place if you want a relaxing stay near all the local amenities.

Rosie’s place is quite small but comfortable, tidy,clean and has all that you need for a relaxing stay. The location is right in the heart of Hartland . Cozy Pub with fantastic food just a step away from Rosie’s place . Rosie is a lovely lady who was very kind leaving us Christmas treats that made us feel at home . God bless you Rosie ! Many thanks and good luck in the future . We’ll visit you again when we return to visit our family.

If you need a home away from home , quiet and private surrounding , this is the place to be. Clean spotless Annex and amenities/city centre within 6min drive radius. Think of anything that you could be missing on a journey this place had it tucked away from within and easy to find if you read the welcome sheet. As you ponder about where to have a quick breakfast from in a new environment, Jacqui got you sorted!! More so of a mini hotel👌 even the simple things like; sugar, cereal, milk, sauces in the fridge mattered . Thank you Jacqui , I look forward to my next visit .

The location is truly breathtaking—an ideal setting for a peaceful and restorative getaway. Evenings were particularly magical, with the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore and the gentle aroma of the log burner creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Both nearby pubs, The Lugger Inn and The Russell Inn, were delightful. The Russell Inn stood out in particular, offering excellent food and a well-curated selection of beers. The bar staff and local patrons were incredibly friendly, contributing to a relaxed and genuinely enjoyable experience. 100% recommended!!
