A perfect property in the quiet and peaceful area of Bruntsfield, a stones throw from everything you can need in terms of transport links, walks, shops and restaurants. We absolutely loved it and really appreciated all the little touches that make a property a home, such as fresh flowers, welcome biscuits and milk in the fridge. Thank you Di and Eddie.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this unique home, beautiful surroundings, very homely and all amenities available in the house. Really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Trail House. the cottage is perfectly located for walking and cycling in the glentress forest, and is walking distance to the local pub/restaurant. the house was perfectly set up for everything we needed, and Hayley was a super responsive and flexible host.

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

We had a lovely time at Claire's place which is very handy for both Edinburgh and the coastal towns and villages (like North Berwick, which is lovely). Claire is very friendly and all communications were great. The house is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lots of lovely touches, warm and cosy. It is very peaceful with nice fields and woods close by, yet easy to get to the city (the train is not far and the bus service is excellent). There are not many facilities locally (we were aware of this when we booked, so this is not a criticism at all). Just be aware that if you are after groceries or restaurants you will either have to walk or get the bus to Musselburgh, or, as we did (not having a car), pick groceries up in Edinburgh before coming back. Overall I would highly recommend Claire's place as a warm, comfortable and calm place to stay. Thank you!

What a wonderful host! Jon was super helpful and communicative, as well as laid back and made sure we were right at home. The place was lovely. Clean sheets and super comfy beds, as well as cozy and warm. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for cooking. He also has the nicest shower I’ve EVER had! It’s on a private, quiet street with lots of cafes and pubs nearby and as described in terms of distance to the city centre/castle etc. We walked there and it didn’t feel too long. 10/10 would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a lovely, home away from home, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world! The apartment is really bright and spacious and tastefully decorated. The living area and kitchen are perfect. The apartment has everything you need including a washing machine and dryer. Audrey explained everything very clearly to us when we arrived to drop off our luggage (the owners facilitated an early drop off before 4pm). In terms of improvements, the water boiler is quite noisy so if someone used the bathroom late, it could wake other guests. We would have appreciated shampoo in the bathroom - some of our party flew with hand luggage only with a small liquids allowance. We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient for the EICC, a 10-15 minute walk. The welcome breakfast pack was a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including Napoli-themed Pizzeria 1926 with delicious pizzas!

We only stayed for one night but Neils flat was exactly what we needed. Very comfortable, warm and cosy. Everything you need for a stay and lots of cafes/restaurants within walking distance. Neil communicated at all times and was very helpful throughout. A very big thank you!

The apartment was very nice and it fit 5 people very comfortably. It had all the appliances you would need for a longer visit as well as soaps, laundry detergent, toilet paper etc. The area was peaceful. The location is very good being close to the tram stop, but it will take you about 20 minutes to reach the centre of Edinburgh. The host was very kind and helpful, and responded immediately, even agreeing to let us leave our bags at the apartment before the check in time. We had a 5/5 stay here. :D

Great, quiet place with bus stops very close to access all the big attractions of Edinburgh. Spacious place, small kitchenette and I loved the idea of the DVD player to unwind at the end of the day. Helen was a great host!

We had a wonderful stay in Edinburgh! The location is great and walkable, with many restaurants, pubs, and parks nearby. Eddie was responsive, friendly, and gave us local recommendations. We loved it!

Edinburgh was the first stop on our Scottish road trip. Yvonne place is located a walking distance from all of the city attractions. It’s a very spacious apartment that served the family of 4 perfectly. The street is very quiet, you had an amazing breakfast place just at the corner, right next to a great pub and a grocery store. Yvonne herself gave a us an extremely warm welcome and she was super responsive before, during and after our visit. I can highly recommend staying with Yvonne!

Kenzo’s place and Kenzo (and Aaron) are terrific! The studio is conveniently located on a pretty and quiet block, near stores and public transportation. Kenzo responded quickly whenever we had a question or concern. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming place to stay while exploring Edinburgh!

Wunderschöne Wohnung in ruhiger, familiärer Gegend im Westen von Edinburgh – mit beeindruckender Kathedrale und schöner Musikschule in der Nähe. Die Wohnung war leicht zu finden dank Conrads ausführlicher Beschreibung. Er war jederzeit erreichbar und hat sich sogar während unseres Aufenthalts erkundigt, ob alles passt – sehr aufmerksam! Die Wohnung ist sauber, großzügig geschnitten und bietet viel Platz, auch für zwei Familien. Alles war wie beschrieben und vollständig ausgestattet – es fehlte an nichts, sogar eine Flasche Sekt wartete auf uns. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es angenehm ruhig. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke, Conrad!

Britisch klein, aber das gehört dazu und war zu erwarten. Gut ausgestattet und die Kommunikation lief großartig. Sind eigentlich fast überall gut zu Fuß hingekommen. Wer nicht gerne läuft, ist aber auch an ein gefühltes Dutzend Busse direkt angeschlossen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

It was great staying at Annie’s flat. The neighborhood was very safe and easily walkable to old town Edinburgh. Anytime we had a question Annie got back to us quickly.

First of all, Ryan let me drop my bags at the flat around 11A, which was SO nice, and opened up my options for day #1 sightseeing. The flat is in a great location: away from the hubbub of Princes Street (where I spent the first two nights due to a change in plans, and don’t get me wrong, Princes Street is great, but it’s hopping), but 11 stops (22 min) on the 10 bus from Princes Street, if that’s where you’re headed. Two highlights: 1) The laundry game here is STRONG, including a descending drying rack in the laundry room which I’m 100% going to copy as soon as I get home. 2) GREAT shower. I used the tub mat, because if I fall in the shower, it’s going to be bad. 3) Convenience store across the street, Lidl (grocery) within a mile walk. Take your bag to both, as a reminder (I had to run back across the street). Thanks, Ryan. I hope to be back next year for the Edinburgh curling tournament. John

We had a lovely stay close to a beautiful park 'the Meadows' and with a nice Greek breakfast place just around the corner! With everything at walking distance a perfect quiet spot to stay when discovering Edinburgh.

A lovely apartment that was a perfect base for a weekend in Edinburgh. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. James was very responsive and I will definitely be going back.
