Chris was a very responsive host. During our stay he spent a day working on his boat in the back. He was very friendly, but also respected our privacy. The house met all of our expectations and our kids loved the pool. The neighborhood was great to walk through and each house offered fantastic curb appeal. With 3 kids under the age of 6, the 10-12 minute walk to the beach was a little long, but Chris’ wagon and beach supplies helped! The golf cart would have been ideal, but without a place to park near the beach we didn’t have much use for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the entire family agrees we’d love to go back. We would go back in a heartbeat! The house and location was perfect! Our kids loved the pool and being able to kayak and paddle board right from the dock was amazing! We saw dolphins multiple times a day and had fun fishing. The golf cart was perfect for getting to the beach and plenty of restaurants, including an ice cream shop! I would totally recommend this place!

House was clean with lots of things to do on property. Private area and relaxing. Accommodated my 10 guest.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable home. Todd was very helpful with recommendations for boating and local places. We enjoyed boating and fishing from the dock and boating the river, tiki bars and beach sunsets. The home is totally updated and has everything for cooking, relaxing, kayaking, etc. We hope to come back often.

Two families stayed at the house for a soccer tournament. The location was great, just 20 minutes from the fields. The house was well equipped and a perfect set up with bedrooms and bathrooms. Kids had fun fishing in the canal. Rebecca was as amazing host!! She was quick to respond to questions. Had a wonderful stay!!

Michael's home was beautiful! It was exceptionally quiet, perfect for sleeping. The kitchen is spotless, well stocked, very organized and inviting to use. My favorite space was the lanai. We enjoyed the outdoor space for coffee each morning, and a glass of wine in the evening. Neighborhood is safe, friendly, walkable, with beautiful sunsets by the water down the street. Michael was very helpful and immediately responsive when we had some travel issues due to weather.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The outdoor pool and view of the canal was wonderful- we saw dolphins and a manatee! The kids (age 10 and 12) loved the pool table, Jenga, and corn hole. The house was very clean, every amenity needed, and very comfortable. The hosts, Bacem and Caryn were extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly. The area is very convenient with lots to do. We explored St. Petersburg beach and Tampa Bay. Highly recommend this home!

Our stay was great. Having the Golf Cart was so handy we didn’t have to rent one. The house is nice and clean the bedding towels. Everything was nice and clean. We would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a historic, old-school Florida home, this is it. The only reason it isn’t a perfect score is that the hurricane closed most of the shops that make Pass-a-Grille quaint. We were able to support a few local restaurants, and the local traffic was very light. We wouldn’t have changed our trip, but it would have been good to know. It seems like businesses are working hard to get back on their feet. Overall a good experience. I appreciate Lisa’s great responsiveness.

We love this little cottage! The view from the back is phenomenal - we even saw a couple gators. The set up is so good for pets. The cottage has everything you need and the primary bed is more comfortable than a hotel bed. 10/10 and would def stay here again!

Séjour très agréable, calme une vrai vacance, belle maison propre, piscine et spa, et la maison était équipé de tout, rien ne manque. De très belles chambres avec des lits très confortables. La cour arrière donne sur un petit canal, de toute beauté de voir les bateaux passer, les gens nous salut. Très agréable. Tout est à proximité, épicerie, magasin, resto, la marina TARPON POINT à voir wow de wow tant la vue avec les bateaux que les restos succulent et les boutiques. A tout les samedis matin, à environ 10 minutes de la maison il y a un marché en pleine air, le Market Farm, super bien, et après à côté il y a le restaurant le Rusty’s pour le dîner belle terrasse. Et tout c’est endroit avec la possibilité d’amener votre chien. L’hôte Ingrid est très gentille, comique, et répond très rapidement à vos questions. C’est une maison à réserver. We had a great time staying here! The home was beautiful with all the beach supplies one could want. As someone who drove their boat up, the dock had great cleat availability and we had no problems getting a spot. One of the easier places to dock at that I have stayed overnight. Home also has everything for cooking and good wifi for being on an island. Loved the vibe of LGI, watching the sunset, and exploring the surrounding islands. Would definitely stay again!

The Alafia River House did not disappoint. Check in was easy with helpful photos & directions. The neighborhood is pretty quiet but yet close to everything too. The house is tucked in right on the river, the yard is lush & Florida tropical, it is the perfect place to sit & read, eat a meal or take a nap. Watching the chickens and surrounding nature are an added bonus. The home is old with character, but so clean & refreshing. All the things you need and more are carefully stowed in antique furniture. Martha is easy to contact, but you shouldn’t need anything. The kitchen is up to date & has all of the extra things that you probably forgot to bring. My husband and I had a sweet trip & the Alafia River House was a gem. Thank you Martha.

The house was perfect. Very well equipped, good quality kitchen tools, everything needed to cook. All the beach gear and toys for the kids were a big + for us! Location is amazing, quiet, peaceful and super close to the beach. Ryan is a great host, super responsive and helpful. Loved the filtered water system in the house, no need to buy water!

Absolutely stunning home and property. Every thoughtful touch and amenity and beautiful, comfortable accommodation and scenery. My wife and I had such a peaceful relaxing time we could not be more grateful for the hospitality and the obvious extreme care to detail that the owners have put into this home.

Awesome and fun place to stay, especially if you're big into bikes or drag racing! Would recommend!

As I indicated in the earlier part of the review, the location, grounds, and cabins were amazing. We had a large group of canoers stay in what we called the lodge - with 5 bedrooms and 2 bunk rooms. Though there are only 2 showers in the same bathroom for such a large number - we made it work. Megan and Marc left each cabin (we rented the lodge and 2 tiny cabins) with a half dozen or more organic, home raised fresh duck and chicken eggs. Nice touch! Launching from there and paddling was amazing on horse creek providing solitude and peace. They worked with us on a complicated checkout with some staying on while others left. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a country experience.

Glamping at its best ! Was here for the rodeo with friends and family . We had the boathouse Cabin. Very pristine and clean with a super comfortable mattress. I loved waking up to the sunrise overlooking the river with my morning coffee. Hope to return here again,

We appreciate home because it offers plenty of space for the family to hang out. This includes a spacious Florida room, two separate outdoor sitting areas for BBQ, and access to the Alafia River for fishing and kayaking. Plus, Gisselle was very responsive to any issues that we had.
