I would recommend SF visitors/families to stay at Raj's place. The location in Lower Pacific Heights was great. Very nice and safe street with classic Victorian homes all around. Easy and free street parking within 1-2 blocks in all directions. The 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths worked perfectly for my family. The kitchen was full of amenities including a Nespresso coffee machine which we enjoyed each morning. In-unit washer and dryer also enabled us to pack light. The only oddity is that the backyard is used as a day-care facility, presumably operated from the garden apartment. So at times, the common/shared backyard had a bunch of toddlers and day care workers running around having fun. It didn't bother us because we were at home during the daytime so rarely, but just a heads up to anyone who plans to spend a lot of time in the house during the day.

Joan's place is magical — set amidst redwoods within walking distance of the center of Mill Valley, where there are plenty of restaurants, a good bookstore, and delicious coffee. The living/dining area has floor to ceiling windows...more like glass walls, and there's a spacious deck where you can watch the sunrise on a clear day and the stars at night. If you want to stay in a place that feels full of history and stories, there's no better place. This is the second time I've gotten to stay at Joan's for a work retreat, and it has been absolutely perfect both times. And Joan herself is utterly lovely and generous — an added delight to the experience.

We loved this home. The area was great and near everything and the street was nice and quiet for the area. The home was immaculate, the care to maintain this home is obvious! Next time we are in San Francisco, this will be our first choice for lodging.

Stephen und James waren fantastische Gastgeber! Das Airbnb liegt perfekt zwischen Castro und Noe Valley – eine wunderschöne, ruhige und sichere Gegend mit tollen Cafés und Restaurants in Laufnähe. Die Unterkunft war top ausgestattet, sehr sauber und toll eingerichtet. Der Parkplatz vor der Garage ist gold wert und die Fahrräder konnten wir sicher innen in der Garage abstellen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die unglaubliche Aufmerksamkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber – sie haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum angenehm gestaltet und waren jederzeit erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Man spürt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Really cute place. We came with our 2 boys who stayed in the cute bunk room. Quiet nice neighborhood. Really nicely designed / renovated place. Good launch pad to surf in bolinas or cruise up to Pt. Reyes / Inverness.

The location was fantastic. Easy access to highway, great distance to a lot of attractions we wanted to see. The home was peaceful & despite having shared walls, we never heard anyone or had disruptions. The host was very responsive & all his instructions were easy to follow. We definitely recommend staying here & plan on coming back.

One of the nicest units we've stayed at with beautiful views and a beautiful-but-functional internal decor including fresh flowers. From the chefs kitchen to the heated bathroom floor (!!) the unit was excessively enjoyable to stay in. Lots of room to entertain, or just relax with the family. Tim was responsive and thoughtful, welcoming us with a fun beverage in the fridge and surprising us with some local farmers market berries that were delicious. Our name was even on the buzzer, really making it feel like home.

So cute, a storybook cottage, indeed. I looked forward to every minute we spent there. We had amazing natural preserves, restaurants, and shopping to choose from - a big draw, but we looked forward to all the time relaxing in this cottage, especially in the evening.

Amazing home in one of the best areas of SF Potrero Hill is a gorgeous area with some amazing restaurants. Reid’s home has everything you could need and more including 4 roof terrace areas! Stunning on a nice sunny night. Highly recommend

Matthew is a great host who has a great place to stay! He was flexible with check-in and I've never had an easier check-out. The space itself is wonderfully stocked and includes all the amenities you need in a stay, which can be rare for Airbnbs nowadays. Would highly recommend for any groups who want the combination of great space and a great location! Thanks for an unforgettable weekend!

Clean, comfy apartment and the perfect location for a weekend spent on nearby trails and at the beach! I would definitely book with Phillip and Nitza again.

Chris’s place was an unforgettable experience! The location is absolutely amazing, with stunning views all around. We loved kayaking in the bay and were lucky enough to paddle alongside a couple of seals—such a fun and unique experience. Mornings were peaceful and magical, watching herons just outside the boat. Living on a boat was an adventure in itself and made our trip extra special. Plus, the location couldn’t be better—close to both Muir Woods and Golden Gate Park, making day trips super easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something a little different and truly memorable!

We felt perfectly at home at Terri’s and will absolutely stay there again in the future! The views from the living room window are dreamy.

Great location. Easy walk to Whole Foods, Safeway and several restaurants and coffee shops. Close to Muir Woods, and Tamalpais State Park and easy drive to San Francisco. Multiple hikes are close by. The place is clean and comfortable. I would recommend Dawn’s place for a couple or individual, it would be tight for any more.

Owners made it so easy to check in and check out. One of the few places that doesn't require you to do your own cleaning at the end of the stay! Gorgeous home, comfortable, good location. Would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing location in Downtown Mill Valley, close to shops, restaurants, and trails. Lovely stay!
