This was our second time staying at Darcy's place, and we came back for a reason! Excellent location, far away enough to feel private, but still close enough to a lot of different towns and things to do. The cabin is cozy, clean, and well equipped for a lakeside getaway. As the listing mentions, this cabin is not insulated so it can get chilly. We were there on a pretty chilly fall week (40s and rainy), and found that the electric heaters and extra blankets worked just fine to keep us toasty. Just bring some extra layers to wear while they get running. The outside patio and firepit area were gorgeous, though we didn't get to take advantage due to the rain-- something to look forward to for the next stay!

This place is so wonderful! Everything is provided for your comfort. Rayna was great in communicating an issue about one of the toilet is not working and offered a full refund if that would be a problem, which it was not at all. The location is great. Easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking (kayak/canoe is available for use). It has a nice patio for sitting while enjoying the sunset view. This makes it to the list of favorite places to stay.

This was our second stay at this location, and we were impressed by the improvements made to the cabin since our first stay. Scot reached out periodically to make sure we were taken care of. Definitely worth the price -- great value if you're looking for an Adirondack retreat right on the Ausable river.

This exceptional lake house provided the most welcoming space we could have asked for to celebrate our family and to spend time together. From heated floors on the cool nights to the beautiful piano to the awesome "grown-up-sized" Jenga, we filled our days with settling in together and simply enjoying! We are so grateful for Dina to sharing this wonderful home with us!!

Sarah’s place is warm and cozy, even when it’s bitter cold outside. A beautiful location next to a lovely creek. Easy to get to and located right in town with some good amenities and restaurants.

Stunning yard. I live a few miles away, northern north hero and I love this little strip of land and the ‘farm cottage’ feel of the house. I had a group up celebrating our 50th reunion from high school. They stayed at the place and also loved it. We would love to rent it again

Steve was very nice and gave clear instructions & answers about the place. The house itself was perfect for a group to stay while on a ski trip and the hottub was a perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend staying there and I will definitely be inquiring to Steve again about staying there again!

Everything was great! Doug talked us through everything, was accommodating to the fact we had multiple bass boats to park & plug in, and it's a nice private little area. Right on the water, nice dock space and just being in a rustic cabin on Lake Champlain can't be beat. Fully equipped kitchen, nice screened in porch, a fireplace & wood, plus - lots of books and games to help end an evening or rainy day. We'll definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Air b&b, the place was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Quiet at night, amazingly well equipped kitchen, great value for money all in all. Beau logement sur deux étage, bien éclairé à proximité du centre ville de magog. Les deux chambres et deux salles de bains sont un gros plus. Avons passés un agréable séjour chez Véronique elle était au petit soin et a bien veillé à ce que nous manquions de rien. A recommander sans hésiter!

Benoit est un hôte très attentionné. D’abord, il m’a offert la possibilité d’entrer au condo plus tôt, ce que j’ai fait et vraiment apprécié. De plus, à mon arrivée, j’ai trouvé sur la table plusieurs petites collations. Quelle délicatesse de sa part! Ce qui m’a aussi ravie, ce sont les trois bûches fournies pour un feu de foyer. Autre avantage notable : la piscine, le spa et le sauna à l’intérieur de l’immeuble. Enfin, je donne un À+ à Benoit pour la communication rapide et tous les documents de consignes très claires à l’intérieur du condo. J’ai passé un agréable séjour dans ce condo qui correspondait tout à fait à la description et qui était d’une propreté irréprochable. Pour moi qui voyageais en solo, c’était parfait. Toutefois, je trouverais cela un peu petit pour quatre personnes. Enfin, l’emplacement de ce condo est génial, surtout en été avec le lac MemphréMagog! Cela dit, je le recommande vivement. Keita's home was beautiful! right next to the river and very peaceful. The space was cozy and perfect for a getaway.

Karen’s cabin was a dream getaway for us! From check-in til we (sadly) drove away, we kept wanting to make sure we spent time around the cabin, pond and around the beautiful property to soak it after hiking, visiting restaurants, and driving into town. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed four our stay. The heat worked great, especially on the colder nights. The shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. Everything was accessible and we even enjoyed the decorative elements too! The property was beautiful and we had a lot of fun walking around on the little well maintained paths, having a little fire by the pond, and just enjoying the quiet. Karen gave us restaurant and hike recommendations, made sure our check in went smoothly (since we got in late in the evening), and even reached out to give us a heads up about ticks in the area. She was super responsive, and we would love to come back and visit on what would now be our engagement anniversary!

Beautiful lakeside location. Large TV, cozy couch and fireplace. WiFi speeds sufficient to work remotely. Large kitchen with the essentials, good fridge/freezer, good stove/oven, but no dishwasher. There are neighbors along the lake but it is very quiet and serene. Josie was responsive to questions. Would stay again.

Gabriel was the most responsive host I've encountered. Helpful and kind, he provided clear instructions and availed himself for the duration of the stay. My family was so pleased with the location. The pictures are a great representation and the whole place was clean, neat, and tidy. Many thanks!

Séjour agréable au bord de l’eau. Plage sablonneuse très appréciée. Cuisine bien équipée et vue sur le lac un point fort de cette location. Carmen a été proactive. Nous avons eu une panne d’électricité et elle a fait le suivi rapidement. Aurions aimé avoir plus de chaises Adirondak pour profiter de l’extérieur (une seule présente alors que sur les photos il y en avait trois.) Région intéressante à visiter.

Brad and Rose’s lake house is a perfect lake side get away. The location is beautiful and surprisingly convenient for being 30 yards from the border. The house is 20 minutes from Newport and 30 minutes from Jay peak down well maintained road. We spent the week skiing at Jay Peak during a two foot snow storm and were very concerned about being able to access the house since it is down a long drive way that slopes down to the lake. We spoke to Brad and Rose who made special arrangements with their plow guy to clear us a spot at the top of their driveway to guarantee we could get out on the day of the storm. The plow driver also reached out personally to make sure he plowed before we needed to leave. The drive way was plowed three time on the day of the storm and atleast 7 total during our stay. We were able to get in and out no problem even from the bottom of the drive way and the roads to and from the mountain were easily passable with 4 wheel drive (Subaru Outback). Would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Margaret's place. It was a short trip to the NEK to visit family and was a perfect location for a weekend get away! It has all the luxuries of home. We enjoyed having our own space and was close enough to family (5 minutes) so that we could spend our time visiting instead of traveling. It certainly was a winter wonderland at this time of year up there!!! The driveway was a bit slippery and steep, but all and all it was a great stay! We definitely would love to return in the future. so nice to have so many bathrooms and separation of the sleeping quarters so that each family /group can have their own privacy.

Lyndsay and Barry were quick to respond and very welcoming. They checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we were alright, and enjoying our visit. The home was extremely clean and the view was beautiful.

the pictures absolutely do not do it justice we were looking out at a beautiful painting from every one of the windows it was more quiet than any other Airbnb we've ever been at truly looking forward to coming back again Adam was a great communicator and cared about everything gave us great advice on where and when to go and was completely flexible have no words to describe how beautiful our stay was it was a great value
