Great Host, very responsive, and great place, very quiet, and close to attractions...and history.

Loved staying in this beautiful farm surrounded by mountains. Just beautiful, with lots of things to keep kids and adults busy. Close to Lexington and the Safari Park. The hosts were super responsive and friendly and accommodating. They gave us free farm fresh eggs! All decorated for Christmas with Christmas music playing! So much for the kids…hiking, swings, obstacle course, toys, feeding and petting donkeys, chickens, and ducks! Fun for adults with a pickleball court and a beautiful setting for roasting marshmallows and watching sunsets! Woke to a herd of deer right outside the front door! Love to visit again.

From the first glimpse of the rolling farm hills and quietly grazing cows we knew we had a good place to get away from our ordinary lives. Brendan met us when we arrived at the quaint location: rambling farm home and adjacent out-buildings close to a lovely stream with weeping willows, wild flowers. Brendan helped us with our luggage and showed us around so we could get the most from our stay. We took walks along the farm roads and enjoyed our time in and out of the house. The outdoor shower was fun and I loved the deep claw foot tub.

We chose Kate’s place because of the proximity to a local Celtic Festival in which I was competing. The location was perfect — private, serene, and picturesque. Kate was extremely welcoming and made every effort to have the house set up to meet all our family’s needs. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. We’ll definitely be back!!

We had such a great stay! Our family really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub after our days of hiking. We appreciated the great small touches including the s'more ingredients, the delicious brownies, and seperate towels for the hot tub. The backyard is so peaceful. The house was very spacious and clean for a family of 4 that included 2 college aged kids. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much!

Destination unknown was GREAT! It was a pleasant surprise, going well beyond our imagination in its accommodations, peace, tranquility, and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the peaceful lazy mornings in the super comfy bed and evenings around the fire pit! The heated bidet seat was a welcomed treat in chilly evenings outdoors. They have thought of every little detail and comfort! Everyone was so friendly from our hosts, Sarah and Jeremiah, to Papa B with his amazing greenhouse and our pleasant interactions with the kids & the animals! There was so much to explore in the area - we will have to come back! Maybe next time we check out the blue tipi!

We enjoyed our stay at this nice place. The kitchen is well equiped. Cheryl is a nice person who reacted fast and kind. What we enjoyed the most: the absolut comfortable bed at master bedroom!!!

Nothing short of amazing! I’ve visited a couple of places and this cabin exceeded all expectations. From the moment you pull up to the driveway and open the door ~ positive vibes! If you may forgotten to pack anything - they will have it there. Even if you forgotten to pack your peace of mind - there will be a wonderful set of rocking chairs and a creek. Thank for you for the opportunity to stay at your beloved cabin! We intend to be back SOON!
