We had the most wonderful, relaxing weekend. Everything was perfect & exactly as described, the rooms were clean & well decorated, the hot tub was ready to go & it was so peaceful. The extras like prosecco & ice were very much appreciated. We walked to the local farm shop & The Coores Arms for dinner which was lovely. We couldn't have chosen a better place for a much needed getaway.

We had an amazing stay. Spotlessly clean with quality furnishings and comfy beds. The location is beautiful and being enclosed is ideal for pets and children. We would love to stay again

Best place we’ve ever stayed at. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, it was quiet and well away from traffic. The only noises to hear were the gentle farmyard noises and loads of beautiful songs of different species of birds. The lambs and sheep all around with wild daffodils in flower made it idyllic. The home was spotless and the welcome hamper the best we’ve ever had. Beds are really comfy and en-suites perfect. We loved the hot tub which was ample for the three of us and could probably fit more. Having a downstairs bedroom and en-suite was ideal for my mum who is over 80. Joanne allowed us to visit some newborn lambs on the farm which was the cherry on top of the already iced cake! What a wonderful week we had and we will definitely go back. This holiday is ideal if you want to destress and chill out.

Martins Farmhouse is a lovely, spacious house, furnished to a high standard and extremely well appointed. The location is very private and peaceful. We had a great few days with all our family - plenty space for adults, children, baby and dog. Would happily reccommend staying here.

We had a great 3 night stay at The Anchorage. Everything was as described in the listing, and the (good) reviews were all very accurate. Lots of good communication prior to our visit. We would highly recommend!

Great place, stay was work related but if i would happily return again for a weekend away. Great location and a well presented home.

Fantastic weekend was had with 11 adults and 2 dogs, everyone was very happy. The house was beautiful with everything you will need and more! The evenings in the garden were a dream. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Stayed here with friends for my 24th birthday and had the BEST time ever, arrived and there was loads of parking space, a massive front garden, keys were really easy to find and use. Walked in the house it was spotless, immaculate & so big so many rooms with cool decor , the games room was a favourite of ours (spent a lot of time there). The beds were all extremely comfy , had a brilliant sleep every night. There was enough towels for everyone and the massive bath was also a favourite of mine, everything in the property was great and ensured me and the rest of my friends had the best 3 nights ever. Also the hosts were very friendly and helpful and were always on hand and easy to contact there were any problems. Thankyou so much for the stay hopefully will be back 🤞

This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

Lovely nights stay, the lodge was spotless clean and had everything we needed. Slippers, robes and the goodies left were a wonderful bonus. Will definitely be back!

We visited with our dog and stayed in the Smardale Cabin. It was the perfect place for us with everything we could have needed and close local walks, also easy to travel around the area. We found a lot of recommendations through the information Stuart provided and leaflets in the cabin. It was very peaceful and relaxing with the hot tub which can be used at any point as it is constantly heated. We also enjoyed toasting marshmallows using the fire pit (everything you need for it is available to buy in the little shop if you don’t bring your own). We would highly recommend this stay and hope we can return soon!

Absolutely beautiful surroundings, beautiful lodge....comfy beds,lots of towells and lovely bedding.....would highly recommend ,felt right at home as sooon as we arrived and we will definitely be staying again .....hot tub on point ,very clean, lovely and warm all day ...Will is a brilliant host and is clearly dedicated to his business....we have had the best time 😊😊😊

This place is just one of a kind! So perfect for a relaxing getaway in nature, just wish we could’ve stayed longer!!

The lodge was absolutely stunning and exactly what we wanted. Upon arrival all the essentials were provided like bread, milk and a delicious cake along. The lodge was very clean and all towels were provided, including the towels for the hot tub. The views from the lodge looking out from the bedrooms and hot tub were stunning and certainly helped us all to relax. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need - nothing was missing. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week - I couldn’t recommend it enough if you want peace and quiet and stunning views.

The lodge was lovely, the location spectacular and the hot tub was fabulous. waking up to lambs every morning was a pleasure. There are some amazing walks around the area and it's not too far to walk for a really nice meal.
