We enjoyed a valentines get away here and it was exactly what we needed. The place was easy to find with detailed instructions from the host. Communication was quick and responsive, especially when we had to adjust our arrival time due to weather/roadworks. When we arrived Tony had lit the fire for us which was perfect. He had also laid out some fresh bread, butter and jam (and the cupboards had lots of condiments, salt/pepper, oil etc) Due to the weather we mostly stayed put and enjoyed the log burner and relaxed setting. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were of high quality. We did walk into the village to get provisions, which took about 40 mins each way with some steep climbs. Tony was really friendly and welcoming and we’d definitely visit again.

The Bungaloo is ideal for a 2 person stay. Well equipped, clean and tidy. Kath is a great host. Communication with her was great, friendly and helpful, especially when I somehow managed to murder the toaster! Bed was comfortable and the shower was really good. Everything we needed was supplied, with a great welcome pack. Waking up to the sound of the birds in the aviary was great. It’s a minute walk to the Jolly Sailor where you can get a great meal. A few more minutes and I’d recommend the Old Sardine Factory. The seafood chowder is to die for. There’s a great deli and a Spar shop a minute away. It’s a 10 minute walk over the bridge to East Looe. Sarah’s Pasty shop do the best pasties and Martin’s Dairy do delicious bread. Easy for the coastal path to Talland or Polperro. We got the bus to Polperro from next to the fire station and then walked back. We’ll definitely return as we loved our stay so much.

Hilary & Graham are great hosts, they made us feel home right from the moment we arrived. Property is exactly as described in a very good location with nice hill and valleys on all sides of the property. Nice backyard connected to a big garden for kids and dog to play. We would love to come back here again.

Sue's place was like a home from home. It had everything we needed and it was clean and cosy. It was in a peaceful location and the only sound we heard was the moos of the cows from the farm. It was the perfect base to explore Hope Cove, Salcombe and Kingsbridge. Had a very enjoyable stay.

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

Sally and Steve were lovely hosts and their beautiful place had everything you might need for your stay. They even treated us with fresh produce on arrival, which was very nice and thoughtful. The surrounding area is beautiful and we wish we had better weather to enjoy it even more. Thank you 😊

Beautiful location, perfect for walks (you can walk straight up on to Hamel Down, one of our favourite Dartmoor walks) from the doorstep. Lovely view. And for convenience - pub, great cafe etc - Widecombe is a short walk or very short drive. And friendly, welcoming hosts. It’s a country cottage, small and homely - so not for those who want a flawless LA style pad! - and all the better for that.

Was a lovely place to stay, perfect for exploring the beauties of dartmoor.

I booked Natalie's annex to finish off our daughter & mummy date day. We had been to the spa in the day & came back for lots of reading, snacks & girl time and it honestly was such a refreshing day. I'm so glad we booked a sleepover at Natalie's, We've never done anything like it before and I'm sure it's a firm new favourite core memory for my daughter & my self. We wouldn't of changed a thing it was all so perfect. Thanks for having us.

Charming, quiet annex, spotlessly clean and modernised with prestige appliances. The annex had access to a pleasant outside seating space in the owners garden. Very comfortable and well located to visit local attractions. A large Co-op within walking distance. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous stay in the Hideaway! The accommodation was fantastic with everything we needed. Emma and Dave were lovely hosts who were very informative of the area and gave us lots of recommendations. We would definitely love to stay again!

A really lovely clean lodge. Stephen was very quick at responding to messages. We had a great time and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. A bit of info that might be useful to others: we bought a 7 short stay pass from pool reception in order to use the pools and gym (£30 adults and £15 kids). There wasn’t a hair dryer so you might want to pack one!

Great stay, used as a stop over for sons rugby festival in Launceston. Host set up sofa bed without being asked, we arrived at 10:30 at night due to travelling down the night before festival so we did not have to have a 5:30am start. Great location 7 minutes away from our destination, host allowed late check in. Only thing we struggled with was key box in dark and no signs so we walked around house two times to find correct box.

We had a lovely stay at Laura's place. Our own little space had everything we needed and Laura also offered the use of the summer house and garden which we enjoyed. The view over the fields was beautiful and it was a great short walk down to North Sands and into Salcombe itself. The tea/coffee, milk and biscuits were a welcome sight on our arrival after a long journey, thank you Laura for a great stay!

Thank you so much Bonnie this place was exactly what we needed with all the little amenities you could want. Very close to a corner shop and a little walk away from the town centre. We thought it was going to be smaller from previous reviews but were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable we were. All was wonderfully clean too with a very comfortable bed! We would definitely stay here again.

The Pitstop is super cosy and clean, just right for a few nights stay. Laura welcomed me when I arrived as it was dark and helped me get in, she had also bought me some milk, which I really appreciated. The accommodation is perfectly located to visit surrounding towns.

What a fantastic accommodation choice. Brilliantly presented and equipped with absolutely everything that you could need. Dee and Steve were fantastic hosts, providing facilities above and beyond the normal. As we were walking the Tamara Way this provided a perfect stop off at the end of day two.

Lovely property and location. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped with a responsive host. Wi-Fi strong and stable. Excellent accommodation all round.

Amazing stay !! Don't think twice about booking - The Maritime suites are beautiful and finished to a very high / modern standard !! The location is idyllic and there is always something to see in the working harbour below - we could spend hours watching the boats coming and going - Rockfish and Miguel's are a must for food and the boat trips are easily booked from alongside the harbour - Crabbing is also very fun !! So many lovely little shops and so many nearby beaches to explore !! The Maritime has no parking but there are roads behind the hotel you can park on for free !! All in all highly recommended :) Will defo be back !

Wir haben Cornwell mit dem Bus und mit dem Auto erkundigt.Sophie hat uns bei Auto mieten gerettet. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen und für die ersten beiden Tage Regen kann Sophie ja nichts. Sehr gerne wieder.

What a lovely visit we had we Sue and John. They were amazing hosts who welcomed us like family. Their home is perfect if you don’t want to be in the hustle and bustle of Plymouth City Centre and is set in a peaceful village with their well maintained and flourishing garden. The guest suite itself was well equipped with all amenities needed and the perfect size for a couple or small family like ourselves. Ample parking space was available on their private drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back in the future! Thank you so much!

The location is truly breathtaking—an ideal setting for a peaceful and restorative getaway. Evenings were particularly magical, with the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore and the gentle aroma of the log burner creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Both nearby pubs, The Lugger Inn and The Russell Inn, were delightful. The Russell Inn stood out in particular, offering excellent food and a well-curated selection of beers. The bar staff and local patrons were incredibly friendly, contributing to a relaxed and genuinely enjoyable experience. 100% recommended!!

The accommodation was lovely - very tranquil and with a nice view at the river. Also you can observe a lot of birds and squirrels from the window. The flat had everything we needed and is very cozy with a lot of little design details. The bathroom is nice and spacious. Parking is just outside the door, you definitely need a car to get there and make the most of the area. Chris and Xuella were wonderful hosts. They were quick in answering and Chris showed us around and made sure all our questions were answered. Thanks for hosting us, we would definitively come back again!

We stayed in the little flat and it was absolutely perfect. We had quiet neighbours who we didn’t hear at all. The place was very warm and cosy. All facilities were as described. The town itself is a dream. Lots of little shops. Super friendly locals. Stunning nature close by. Lots to do if you’re inclined to head out. Many lovely little touches from the hosts that make you feel welcome and at home.
