What a special place! The home is a calm and peaceful escape. Our host Michael ensured that everything was perfect. We loved sitting by the fire and hearing soft music from across the pond at Water’s Edge. Also loved spotting the bald eagle in its nest across the water. A wonderful experience.

I stayed here for a weekend and I wished I would have stayed longer. Perfect spot for a getaway and relaxation. Olga was a really caring and warm host, super attentive at all time, always saved some food for us when she cooked. The house was clean, organized, with natural lighting everywhere surrounded by a beautiful garden and a river with ducks and a swan. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to relax, have a weekend to themselves and enjoy nature.

Whenever I am traveling in the area this is one of my first picks! It's always comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hosts are very welcoming. Recommend to everyone :)

Karen was a great host! The apartment was exactly as shown and described in the pictures. Perfect walking distance to local restaurants and attractions; we had a toddler with us so instead we took a quick drive right into town. The pool was perfect as was the outside seating area. Karen was very accommodating with some last minute changes we needed. Karen was easily accessible if we had any questions or needed assistance. 10/10, already looking forward to our next stay.

The place was just as described and pictured. Yared’s place was beautiful. Location was wonderful. I did not have time to enjoy the beautiful back yard as I was out most of the day, but I hope to next time. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location. The apartment was the perfect size. Close to public transport. There is a beautiful cafe around the corner, and a restaurant on the ground floor.

This was such a nice space and Lisa was a nice and accommodating host. This place is full character and wonder. Very artistic color energy in this place. We started my daughter’s 18th birthday celebration here with what is her last sleepover with friends. The hot tub, steam room and sauna were the first things and last things used. They enjoyed it so much! Thanks for your hospitality Lisa. If we ever need something like this again. We will be sure to look you up! Blessings

What can you say that hasn't been already said by previous reviewers. John's house in Freeport is a gem. Perfect getway for weekend for our family. We were greeted by a nice bottle of wine and a generous basket of snacks (always a nice touch). The house was spacious and super clean. The beds were extremely comfy and the kitchen was well equipped for anything you may need. So many fun things we really didn't get to take advantage of (Tiki Room, fire pit etc..). But the crowning jewel is the location on the water. If you just want a place to sit and relax as the sun rises or sets (yes you get to see both from the back deck) this is your place. John was a gracious and responsive host. We hope to be back next year.
