A wonderful retreat on an unbelievable property. We were so surprised by the amazing views of the Chester River as well as the really well marked hiking trail. A bit out of downtown Chestertown, but totally worth the drive. Benjamin was a great communicator, and very flexible to meet our needs. ps. the cutest goats

Ina was a great communicator - from initial contact, instructions for the house, to checkout! She couldn’t have been better. She was quick to respond and very helpful, which made everything super easy. The house had such an amazing view! Our water-loving dog found the river within 5 mins of getting out of the car!! Great amenities (incl. kayaks, life vests (even for the pup!), well stocked kitchen, bed linens, comfy beds and furniture, nicely decorated, and clean)! It was an easy ride to town. We went to get a bit of a respite from our busy lives for a few days in the off season, and the surroundings were just what we needed. One downside was that the utilities (refrigerator and heat) are rather loud when they turn on, so if you’re a light sleeper, you may be bothered. We were awakened a few times, but the rest of the positives made up for it!! Great spot!

What great place to stay! So scenic with lots room for activities and relaxing. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Our stay was very comfortable. The place had everything we needed to cook as well as for kids to play. The inflatables, toys and pool table were hits with our group. There are two beautiful piers with amazing sunset views at the back of the house. The walk in the community was pretty peaceful too. Landon was responsive. We had some trouble locating the lock box at the front door that resulted in trouble during the check in. You need to press a button to see the lock box on the door. We realized late that we were using the wrong lock box.

Schönste Unterkunft in der ich je war! So ein schöner Ort mitten in der Natur mit direkten Zugang zum Fluss und die Möglichkeit zum Kajak fahren. Auch die Nachbarn sind sehr freundlich! Die Ausstattung war top, es gab sogar selbstgemachte Cookies und Equipment für ein Lagerfeuer.

Franco’s place is well located within walking distance to most everything Chestertown has to offer. The Chester River view was excellent and we were able to enjoy a beverage out on the rooftop deck with the boats going by in the river. Communication was excellent. Access to the 3rd floor walk-up was easy with parking next to the house. We had a very enjoyable stay and expect to return there soon. Thanks for sharing your space Franco

Mike and Melinda’s place was a quiet, beautiful retreat surrounded by nature and exactly what we were looking for! We even got a visit from a bald eagle! The space was thoroughly appointed (as listed) and the attention to detail was impressive. The welcome basket was filled with local goodies and we very much appreciated the thorough written instructions and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Although the cottage was close to the main house its orientation makes it very private. Winter weather cooperated and we even enjoyed a private romantic firepit! Everything was included of course - even the s’more kit. Would definitely stay again and couldn’t ask for better hosts!

Just a lovely house with a beautiful view. We stayed in the winter and had cozy fires. We would definitely come back.

We needed a quiet and private space to relax. Jordan’s space was all of this. We stayed here for a month and hardly ever heard Jordan and her family. Jordan was quick to respond if we had any questions. The bed was very comfortable and the views of the water were nice.
