We had a great stay in this Manoa Valley home. The house was spacious, airy, and perfect for our group of four. Two bedrooms had working ACs; the one in the main living area didn’t, but opening windows/doors or using bedroom ACs worked well. Two bathrooms were a big plus! Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided—very convenient. The washer and dryer in the unit were amazing, and having beach toys to borrow was a fun bonus. Parking was easy and convenient, right next to the house. Hosts Eric and Miranda were friendly and quick to respond. The large couch in the living room isn’t a sleeper sofa but was fine to sleep on, with extra linens available. The only downside was the floor cleanliness—our feet got dirty fast despite the no-shoes rule. A better clean before arrival would make a big difference. Otherwise, a really comfortable, well-equipped place—we’d happily return!

The place was great. It was safe in a gated community. As you know Makaha area isn’t as safe but the area we stayed was on a hill In a safe area.. Place was nice, modern, clean. Stella was great with any questions. I would definitely come back. Thank you!

The house was great! The community within the gates was awesome! The host, was great! The residential area just outside the gated community was fine. The area along Farrington Hwy (Hwy 93), between Makaha Valley Road and south for about 8 or so miles, was riddled with beach front homelessness. Don’t expect to hit the beach in this area. We drove north to Makua Beach, which was nice and felt safe. We also spent time at the Kohola Lagoon in front of Aulani Disney Resort. Aulani was nice and the beach felt safe. The house itself is in good shape. There were some minor things, which happens with some careless guests. Joe provided very useful beach equipment. We used the towels, beach mats, snorkel gear, kids beach toys and took the umbrellas just in case. The washer and dryer were very helpful, to ready the towels and swim clothes for the next day. The exterior fourth bedroom was great for my oldest son. It has all you need. Overall, great house, great host and great amenities. Mahalo

The entire stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We have family that live there so it was a perfect location for us. Upon arrival he was proactive with communication and had all the instructions clearly laid out to understand what the expectations were. We got there and only had 2 beds for sleep space. However, after explaining this to him & his assistant Walter, they corrected the issue immediately providing a sleep sofa for another space to sleep in the living room area. I appreciate their immediate attention and response to this. Providing a solution to make it correct! Everything that was needed was provided both in the kitchen and bathroom, which was refreshing. And the location was nice with a 5 minute walk to Starbucks, restaurants and groceries. And a 10 minute walk to the beach. All in all this was a fantastic experience. Thank you!

I lived here temporarily for about 7 months and really enjoyed the life outside of Waikiki, while also being very close to everything. Kapahulu is wonderful and Kaimuki is also one of my favorite spots on O’ahu. The house had everything I needed to live a “normal” life, IE laundry, kitchen supplies, amenities, etc.

One of the nicest places I have stayed. Nice gated community not far from the beach and quiet neighborhood. Would stay there agin next time I’m in Oahu.

The place was beautiful and nothing beat the view when walking outside. Everything was a bit of a drive but what a way to see this beautiful island. The beach was super close and the waves were great. Thank you for hosting our family we will definitely be back.

We had an excellent stay as a family of four during our trip to Kailua. Very clean unit, everything was up-to-date, huge bathroom, nice main living area, beds were comfortable. Great location with having the shopping center right there. Easy walk to Safeway and Starbucks, plus The Food Company and Boots and Kimo’s for breakfast, and L&L Hawaiian and Maui Mike’s Chicken for lunch/dinner. Easy to get to location if you follow instructions. Everything was super easy and perfect for us. Like other reviews have mentioned, you can hear the people upstairs walking around and it can be loud, but it didn’t bother us too much, as we were mostly only there during the morning and night. Plus, my family sleeps with white noise machines, so it didn’t disrupt our sleeping. We all slept pretty well actually. All in all, everything was wonderful, and I would definitely stay again again and recommend!

Unit was exactly as described and pictured. Best deal in Waikiki. Air conditioning worked well. Great view out the window of the water and the Zoo. It is a small unit but very suitable for a couple. Extremely well equipped for such a small space. Very quiet which was surprising given its location in the heart of the action. Kanae was very responsive when we requested to amend our check out date due to a flight cancellation.

We had a lovely stay at Emily’s place! While the listing says Waikiki, the home is actually located in the hills above Diamond Head—about a 20-minute drive from Waikiki. Emily was great about checking in with us before confirming the booking, and we really appreciated her flexibility as we were looking for a spot that could accommodate our family of five. The views from the property were absolutely beautiful and made the drive totally worth it. You’ll definitely want to have a rental car, as shops and restaurants are at least 10 minutes away. The unit was comfortable and quiet, even with other guests in the house—we barely noticed them. We also loved the thoughtful touches like beach towels, boogie boards, and access to a washer and dryer (with detergent provided!), which were perfect for our family. We’d happily stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I visited with my mother and four daughters, and we fit comfortably in the space. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making it convenient for preparing several meals during our visit. The location was excellent—within easy walking distance of the beach, access to two pools, and numerous dining options nearby. Additionally, if you're considering groceries, I highly recommend delivery services, as drivers are familiar with the property, making it hassle-free.

It was near a lot of things , convenient walkable to the beach Nice balcony view of the mountains and the ocean Liked the fact that extra things were provided such as beach chairs etc No complaints

Amazing location in the heart of Waikiki. Walking distance to literally EVERYTHING so no car is needed. Enjoyed everything about the hotel. Would definitely book again!

The apartment was clean and had a fun view especially in the morning. We were able to use the kitchen as well! Make sure to reach out to the host ahead of time to get instructions for the lockbox and building security will not help you. Once we got the keys, it was super easy to get into the building and the room.

Our family (2 adults, 1 child (8yo)) throughly enjoyed our stay at this cute Airbnb. It was a great location for all of our adventures on Oahu. The host was very responsive. You can hear when the neighbors upstairs are walking around etc but it wasn’t bad. Only not great thing was that the beds were not very comfortable. We ended up buying our own pillows while there so we could sleep better, and that helped. We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit and ample parking space. We would recommend this space to anyone.

Great place. We loved that the children were in the upstairs bedrooms and we had our own space downstairs.

Absolutely stunning home. Waianae was a beautiful place to experience Oahu with a less city feel. Everything was meticulously decorated and felt like a premium experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a luxurious experience with family.

This place looked exactly like the photos—such a great value for the price! It’s conveniently located near everything, and the host even provides parking and access to a car, which was super helpful. The space was spotless, and oh my gosh, the bed was incredibly comfortable! We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for the amazing stay! Just one note: I saw some comments about the parking spot being wet and tight. Yes, it’s true—but the water wasn’t bad at all, and honestly, it rains in the area, so it’s to be expected. The parking is tight, so if you’re not a confident driver, it might be a bit challenging. But my husband and I had no issues at all.

This home is beautiful. Its a newer construction so everything works properly and is well maintained. Very clean. All of the beach gear is an amazing amenity and honestly made the difference for me renting this place vs some others. When flying to hawaii our family wasnt able to bring anything needed for beaching - ice chest, chairs, umbrellas, wagon, toys, towels, boogie boards and more - they had it all. Also provide coffee which is very helpful Neighborhood is gated and beautiful. Everything was great with the home and didnt need to contact the host for anything. Great air bnb property.

I was hoping for a few days break, without the hustle and bustle of staying in Waikiki. This Manoa Studio fit the bill exactly. It's a nice, clean, efficient room for a solo traveler like me, albeit with enough room for a couple to stay. I'll return again in the future.

I don't think we could have found a better place or location at such a reasonable rate for Waikiki! Janet's condominium was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Janet graciously allowed us to check-in early because the unit was available, and she is very attentive to let you know how to contact her if the need arises. The security system in place for the elevators and individual units was excellent, and I appreciated the information and amenities provided to enhance our experience. The unit is ideally located a few short blocks to the beach, and within a few minute walk to every restaurant and shopping experience you can imagine! It is also very convenient to book tours because pick-up places are minutes away. We left Hawaii with many great memories, and I would love to return and stay here again. Mahalo.

The room was exactly as pictured. Great kitchen. Nice bathroom, roomy enough for our family of 4. Host were perfect with responses. I looked at alot of rooms in this building & this was by far the best. The balcony had a great view of the ocean & the mountains. I read alot of reviews with this room & i read alot that there were not enough supplies. So i bought my own to be prepapred. There was 1 little shampoo & conditioner &soap to start you off in the bathroom. But there was plenty of toilet paper & enough for the 4 of us for 5 days, so that was very welcomed. There were beach chairs &umbrellas available in the closet aswell. I absolutely loved this room & its location. All i could fault, might not bother everyone, but the towels werent as clean as i would have liked. So i washed them myself in the machines in the building, $7, unfortunately the stains never came out though. The pillows were very old & all different. However i do recommend this unit & 5 stars to its hosts.
