Maison Marvel is handy to Britomart shopping and restaurants, the ferries to Devonport and Waiheke, and a short pleasant walk through Albert Park to the Art Gallery, University and the Queen St movies. If you have a car, you're close to the Southern and Western Highway on-ramps for day trips out of the city. These factors more than make up for the immediate neighbourhood, which is fairly ordinary. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need, and Kane is a responsive, generous host. I'd happily recommend it to anyone needing a base for a stay in Auckland.

Gordon was an excellent host, super responsive and proactive. Entire place was clean and spacious and super great distance to everything you could need and more. He was incredibly helpful too. Tilly was a great addition too- so cute!

Spacious, Spotless, and Thoughtfully Designed Stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely enjoyed our time at this well-thought-out apartment, located on the ground floor of the main house. The space was squeaky clean—inside and out—and beautifully maintained, which made us feel instantly at home. We were greeted with thoughtful touches like treats, coffee, and tea, and truly appreciated the early check-in offered due to our early arrival. The apartment itself is spacious, light, and airy, perfect for relaxing after a day out. There’s a lovely backyard with a table to sit and unwind, although we didn’t get a chance to use it during our stay. While there's no parking on the property, we easily found street parking right outside the gate. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance, which was a bonus. Overall, a wonderful and welcoming stay—would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient base!

Great mini break in Phil's lovely spot in Parnell. Was easy from whoa to go and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We will certainly be back! Well appointed, technologically savy townhouse close to Parnell and the Domain. Beautiful outlook over the trees and outlooks to the Auckland Museum and Sky Tower. Comfy beds, excellent shower and a well equipped kitchen all make this a standout property. One tiny thing to note is this property is down a long steep driveway and parking is on the roadside, so may not be suitable for everyone. Never had trouble finding a park though and got a good workout before any car ride! Super close to some lovely restaurants and cafes in Parnell which made things easy and a short car ride to Newmarket. Phil has a great spot and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Other than a little trouble finding and getting into the parking garage, we had a fantastic stay. The location cannot be beat. Easy to explore and enjoy Auckland. Very walkable. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing Air BnB that was 10/10! Henry's place is super cool, amazing art, furniture and style... this is one of the best spots I've stayed in Auckland and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay. Host was so welcoming, he left cold beers and drinks in the fridge along with fresh bread, eggs and other food to ensure I was well looked after on arrival. Super helpful and went over and above to ensure it was a great stay. Easy self check in, great WIFI, the place has everything you need and was extremely clean and tidy. The home is in the best location, with local cafe's, food stores, parks and beach all within 5-10mins walk. Thanks Henry!!

Perfect stay at Josh’s place which is very well located next to Ponsonby road. Calm, clean and sunny appartment with all necessary amenities. Highly recommended for your trip in Auckland !

My two sisters and I had a great stay. The unit is light, sunny and had everything we needed. Very good walking distance to the Viaduct area and downtown Auckland. It was lovely sitting on the wee balcony in the morning and evening, with the Harbour bridge lit up in the distance. Pam left good information, and responded immediately with helpful advice to the only question we had. This was an excellent spot to base ourselves for a weekend in the city, we would come again.

Lisa was so lovely, and we loved staying at her place. It was even better than the photos! An amazing kitchen for cooking, a pool, a spa, and spacious comfortable areas throughout made for the perfect getaway. Lisa was super friendly and helpful throughout, we would absolutely stay here again.

This place was exactly what I wanted! Two bedrooms, kitchen, living room… AND a patio! The driveway was very steep… but at least there was parking 😇. The host was responsive, helpful and kind. All the things were available for use, including books and streaming on the television. I would definitely stay again when in NZ.

Our family loved staying at Heemi's home for a short holiday and to move our son into University. The house was clean, comfortable and clutter free, with high-quality furniture, a lovely kitchen and comfortable beds. The number of bedrooms (4), toilets (2) and showers (2) made it perfect for our family of 5. The house layout is excellent with bedrooms separated from the living areas. Excellent off-street parking. Only a short drive up the road to Hamilton City itself for shops/places to eat. Heemi was very responsive to messages and helpful. Highly recommend. Thank you Heemi!

Our stay at Lynley’s place was absolutely incredible. The entire space was absolutely spotless and well stocked for a comfortable stay. We were able to make ourselves comfortable while on our travels with the beautiful outdoor space, spacious kitchen and living spaces. Sitting in the backyard you feel at peace in a beautifully decorated and private space. There are also great amenities, clean and functional kitchen and bathroom. There is plenty to go and see in the area and a great local town in Thames for shopping and food so it is a great central location for your travels. The hosts were super friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. We cannot recommend Lynley’s place enough, it is a beautiful place which you will find yourself wanting to visit again!

The stay was awesome! The location is perfect—within walking distance to everything: Lost Springs, supermarkets, and the beach. The house is clean and well-maintained. It is suitable for long stays. The hosts were very nice. Thank you, guys, for making our holiday enjoyable and hassle-free. We definitely recommend this house and will definitely come back next time!

This accommodation was outstanding, the best airbnb we have stayed in. Location was perfect for our needs. Instructions were spot on and Joanne responded to communications extremely quickly. Everything we could want was at the accommodation including fully stocked tea, coffee, milk… and even some treats. The rooms were very spacious and the furniture very comfy and cool. Excellent 👌

we've stayed at 6 bachs in Piha now, and this is the best. not cheap, but you get what you pay for. great facilities, great decor and lots of nice touches and location is unbeatable with views over the beach. one thing is that the upstairs and downstairs are 2 separate units both with their own bathrooms and kitchens. this would be great for 2 couples, one with a kid or two, but the levels are not internally connected. we just had it for the two of us and never went to the lower level.

The accommodation is 11/10 with a 6 star rating for everything one needs for an escape. Modern, minimalist really private in a bustling area. We loved our stay and will return again. Thanks to Denise. Excellent comms and a few personal touches.

Our family of 4 had a great holiday in Auckland at Jon's place. The place was located quite centrally and within walking distance to Britomart and Wynyard Quarters. The place was spotless clean and had everything you could possible need. There were loads of amenities and bathroom basics. There were kitchen basics, coffee machine and snacks which was a very nice touch from Job. Best of all there we games and toys for the kids. The apartment is secure with ample parking and is right next to the park and grocery stores. It can get quite loud as it is on the main st when the windows are open esp on weekends which you need in the main living room and downstairs rooms because it doesn't have aircon but it was ok for us as the temp was coming down but it did get quite warm on some nights without aircon downstairs. Jon is an excellent host, very helpful, responsive and attentive. We felt right at home and would def stay here again if we come back to Auckland :) highly recommended

Really great place we enjoyed our stay the balcony is really nice to sit on great sunsets and the sound proofing is quite good so you don’t hear the motorway. Really close to Albany mall and the surrounding bays, so many great places to eat. And it was only 20 mins into the city. Would recommend it for a super affordable stay in Auckland.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Great location close to everything but still peaceful. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Linley's apartment was perfect! A beautifully setup place to relax in which had everything you needed, even down to a portacot for our little one. There a as also a swimming pool, spa and a carpark available. A quick walk to lovely cafes, and the Viaduct and downtown CBD. Just a perfect location! Linley was extremely helpful prior to our arrival and we would most definitely recommend a stay at this awesome air bnb. Thanks so much for everything Linley, and also to Karin! 🙂
