Absolutely loved our stay, it’s a very big warm house with an amazing view of the ocean from the deck. We had plenty of space and felt right at home. Would definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Located at a peaceful area. Baby friendly. There are plates for babies, a highchair and a cot. Loved the low sofa in the living room. Comfortable for adults but also made it a safe and comfortable space for our little ones to play. There was a swimming pool perfect for kids, and a spa. We couldn't use them unfortunately as the weather turned colder during our stay.

This is a great place. There is so much room I think 3 families could stay comfortably without getting under each others feet. Some things that I liked... That view! Breathtaking. It was like you were on the water. The WIFI was fast. The water was hot. There was great water pressure = a lovely shower. The loo with a view. 50 steps from bottom of the house to the top! The twisty roads in. Getting there felt like an adventure right from the start. The hot water beach at Kawhia - hire spades from the Museum/Info place. No need to go all the way to Coromandel. The coast road to Bridal Veil Falls (although the sealed road is faster and easy). We had a 4WD but there were plenty of regular cars there too. It had been raining but the road was good and so scenic. A great base to go to adventuring on day trips to Rotorua, Hobbits, Waitomo, Hamilton Gardens (stunning!) and probably many other wonderful places in this gorgeous country. Enjoy!

Our family loved staying at Heemi's home for a short holiday and to move our son into University. The house was clean, comfortable and clutter free, with high-quality furniture, a lovely kitchen and comfortable beds. The number of bedrooms (4), toilets (2) and showers (2) made it perfect for our family of 5. The house layout is excellent with bedrooms separated from the living areas. Excellent off-street parking. Only a short drive up the road to Hamilton City itself for shops/places to eat. Heemi was very responsive to messages and helpful. Highly recommend. Thank you Heemi!

We had a three night stay at Malina's house and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect and within 5 min walk to the main Mission Bay bars and restaurants. Malina and Rod were both highly responsive and provided suggestions and also helped rescue us by lending us two international adapters for our devices. The house is beautiful and as shown in the photos. Modern and clean and the standout has to be the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Our kids spent every afternoon in the pool area and loved it all. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Mission Bay area.

Absolutely amazing location amongst rolling farmland. Beautiful, private beach within walking distance, no light pollution equaling breathtaking stars and for the nerds out there - Weathertop from Lord of the Rings is nearby! The house has everything you’d need, including one super soft bed and one super firm bed, satisfying both kinds of picky sleepers. The hosts were very friendly and responsive while also allowing us privacy - if you’re looking for peace and solitude, this property is it! There is zero cell phone coverage in this area but the WiFi worked perfect. We will definitely be back!

Our big family had a great stay at Nathan’s place over the Easter weekend. There was lots to do including a hot tub, pool, dartboard, tennis court and games. Best yet, it is also home to lots of sheep and some chickens! During our stay we were able to enter the chicken coop and pick fresh eggs in the morning! Very lovely home and 100% would go back again.

we've stayed at 6 bachs in Piha now, and this is the best. not cheap, but you get what you pay for. great facilities, great decor and lots of nice touches and location is unbeatable with views over the beach. one thing is that the upstairs and downstairs are 2 separate units both with their own bathrooms and kitchens. this would be great for 2 couples, one with a kid or two, but the levels are not internally connected. we just had it for the two of us and never went to the lower level.
