We had a cosy, comfortable stay at The Walkers Rest, with stunning views right from the windows. We made good use of the provided map for a beautiful hike around the local area, spotting plenty of spring lambs along the way. A late request to Angharad for use of the sauna was kindly accommodated, and it turned out to be the perfect final touch to our stay. The sauna features large windows so you can soak in the mountain views and we even heard owls calling in the evening! We’ll definitely be returning!

Lovely stay with my husband , 2 children and 2 dogs was strange no wi-fi at first for a family who are from a busy town but after the first few hours I loved being able to switch off from the world loved a morning sauna and dip in the stream very unique highly recommend !

From the moment we walked in we felt at home. Beautifully decorated and so so cozy. Lot of beautiful spots to visit nearby. We had a great refreshing time. Anna was always responsive. We will definitely recommend this place and hope to be back soon again.

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

First time in Wales and the whole family was impressed, beautifully located with the perfect surroundings and lots to do. It felt like we were abroad. We had lots of family activities and bonding time, no phone signal but very good WiFi.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge, beautiful surroundings and views with a very peaceful feel. Or 3 children enjoyed playing outside in the playpark, and we made full use of the BBQ and pizza oven. However, using the the hot tub and sauna on a clear starry night also allowed Mummy and Daddy some relaxation time after bedtime. The lodge was lovely, and everything has been thought of including a log fire and huge shower. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cosy break, you could spend all the time at the lodge if you really wanted to. Pamela is a fantastic friendly host, communicated well and proactively, and even provided some lovely wine and treats for our arrival. We will certainly be returning!

Absolutely magical holiday! Complete perfection! Better than we expected! I wish we had stayed longer. The places to go and chill out, the wild pond, bluebell wood, the park. Padel ball on site was super fun! The walks in the area followed by a lovely sauna to soothe the muscles! The local town full of independent family owned businesses. You really don’t need to leave the location there’s so much to do on the doorstep but equally if you want to venture out there’s so much to do locally too. We came with our son and dog and it was just beautiful! Would 100% recommend and we’ll be back!

A seriously brilliant place, all round! As previous reviews said - the place is EVEN better than the photos. Actually the photos don’t do it justice. It’s honestly a beautiful house, location and super peaceful. Would definitely recommend and go again!! Perfect for families or a friend getaway for a epic views and a relax
