This is one of the best places I've ever stayed. No need to leave the house for anything except food. We use DoorDash, after the first night there because there were plenty of amenities right there. The very impressive kitchen has all cooking utensils and appliances needed. The theater is nicely decorated with a popcorn machine which gives the full movie experience. The pool table and air hockey were so much fun. The Pack-Man game was already a blast, then to find out it has a ton of arcade games on the system made it even better. The meditation room was a highlight of our stay. You'll get relaxed as soon as you approach the doorway. The gym was yet another amenity that we were impressed by. You get a pretty good workout while reading the motivational quotes on the wall. We used the grill that's conveniently on the patio at the entrance. This was my husband's first Airbnb experience so it set the bar high. The hot tub was great with privacy. I'll try the beautiful pool next time.

Beverly is a fantastic hostess. Not only is the cabin immaculately clean and cozy, it truly feels like it’s your own space. Plenty of fun toys, games, and books to keep kids and adults entertained when spending time in the cabin, though you likely won’t! Her property offers so much outdoor activity. Walks around the property, time spent next to the river and pond, plenty of flowers to admire, and friendly dogs that come and say “hello.” We were lucky and her goats just had kids! Beverly willingly took our child to pet and hold the babies. We loved our stay. Thank you, Beverly!

Had an amazing stay for my girlfriends birthday. Great place to stay if you like being able to have some of the comforts of home. There’s also books with things to do in the area which we found very helpful. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our time. Lots to do in the area and very close proximity to Baltimore and DC. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

Katherine and Shelby's place was in a great location. They even let us park in their small driveway while they parked on the street. Parking in DC is at a premium. The place was actually even bigger than we thought and they had just about anything we needed on hand. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and when a small issue came up with the stove they took care of it promptly and apologized for the inconvenience. We would definitely come back to their place in the future and highly recommend them to other guests. Thanks Katherine and Shelby! :-)

Tierra is an amazing host. From her kindness, responsiveness, willingness to go above and beyond, I can’t say enough good things. And any issues we did have were promptly addressed with the appropriate solutions. The games and various streaming options kept our kids busy. It is as advertised and while it may not be glamorous it’s comfortable and homey. We definitely will keep Tierra’s place in mind should we need to stay in the area again.

We have never had a bad experience with Airbnb. This place is our favorite accommodation so far! It is quaint, comfortable, extremely well outfitted and has a certain historic funkiness to it. While we were only there for about 20 hours, Joanie made the whole experience pleasant and easy. And she seems to think through the eyes of a visitor and knows how to be a good and thoughtful host. Forget to bring a razor? She has that covered. Have a sore muscle from riding a bike 40 miles to get there? She has an icepack in the freezer for you. Dying for your favorite beverage? It is probably in the refrigerator. Need some quick information on local stuff? She replies promptly and enthusiastically. We will look back on this brief trip with good memories. We are already contemplating a longer return trip to see more of York. And if you can, try to schedule your visit to coincide with a performance at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts, two blocks away. Great venue!

Bill's awesome. My family spent Thanksgiving at his place and I reached out ahead of time to find out if there's a mixer for our whipped cream. I would've brought mine from home, but within 2 minutes, he had ordered one to be delivered prior to our arrival! He responded to my questions within minutes. Adorable kitchen worked well for our TG prep. Dining room is in a cozy window-laden spot that was perfect for doing puzzles. Bedrooms have really comfy beds and linens. Bathroom is small, but has everything you need - plenty of fresh thick towels and the water pressure is impressive. Ping-pong table = fun. Backyard was perfect for our dog when we didn't have the time to spend in Court Square Park, conveniently located right down the road. There are two off-street well-lit parking spaces. And the location is fun - eat, drink and shop; catch a movie; just walk around and stumble upon a street performer. All good. UVA is a short walk down Main Street, cideries and wineries a short drive. Go!

We had a great stay at the historic home in Mechanicsburg. Great location- awesome home.

Michelle was a great host. Very responsive to our questions. The amenities (sauna and hot tub) were excellent. The yard was fenced in and had plenty of room for our dogs. Would come again for sure. Thanks again!

My family of 4 plus our 2 fur babies had the best time at Julie’s home. The house is beautiful and unique with all the original remnants of wood and brick. It’s clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities. The pictures don’t do this house justice, honestly. The property is very private. We hardly saw any neighbors. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer, hot tub, couches outside, bathrobes, etc. we appreciated the tea, chocolate, wine and flowers left for us, too. Such a pleasant surprise, really! There are plenty of things to do around in the area. We had a great time. Thank you, Julie, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home with our entire family.

Amazing stay. Debbie and Bob were proactive, thoughtful, and extremely communicative. A day or so before our trip, they recommended a 4-wheel drive vehicle due to snowy conditions. We are so glad we heeded their advice (they even offered to extend our check out to ensure the roads were safe as we prepared to leave). Overall, the home exceeded our expectations: tastefully decorated, spacious (yet cozy) and immaculately clean. It sits back from the main road- just a short drive through a winding wooded lot. And the snow (for me) felt like magic! Absolutely beautiful and serene!

This was our second time staying at Sarah’s property. The wooded, peaceful, and private setting makes it easy to relax. It’s a quick & easy drive into Orange for restaurants and shopping, and 10-20 minutes to multiple wineries and James Madison’s Montpelier. The cabin itself is awesome, with an open plan and a large glass garage door that expands the living space seamlessly onto the screened porch. Sarah is a great communicator, and the extra hospitality touches - like the complimentary Woodford bourbon and cigars - make it a very enjoyable stay!

Was a place to rest our head for the night after picking up my puppy from the breeder. She was very accommodating to the change in time for check in. Definitely would book again if I’m ever in the area.

The place was perfect for our needs! Jacie was very clear about things like parking and noise so that my expectations were managed well. the place was super cute and had everything we needed. loved the laminated instructions all over the home and Jacie was very easy to communicate with.
