10/10 for Alvaro’s place! He and his wife were extremely welcoming, meeting my friend at the house to let her in and explain how everything works. Alvaro provided us with lots of information, possible itineraries depending on length of stay, and was quick to respond if we had any questions. While the weather wasn’t the best during our stay, the sound of the rain hitting the skylights during the night was very peaceful. The location is extremely safe and tucked away down a gated alley with some other houses. Across from the entrance of the house is a little garden with lemon trees and several other forms of vegetation. The set of colourful stairs that leads back down to street level made it easy to access the main sidewalk which you would take into the city centre (it’s closer than you think!). Upon our departure, Alvaro was kind to let us stay 30 extra minutes as we were having issues completing our check-in for our flight. Wonderful experience, highly recommend Alvaro’s place :)

We had a great time! The property was spotless and very peaceful. It was in a lovely area, a short drive to Benegil cliffs which was amazing. Very friendly and showed us around/gave loads of recommendations of places to go and eat. Any questions we had were answered very quickly with no problems, and they even left a welcome hamper for us which was lovely. I look forward to the next time!

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in Foz und haben die Lage vom Haus 5 genossen. Man wohnt sehr ruhig, ist in 5 Minuten am Meer, es gibt alle Geschäfte, die für die Selbstversorgung notwendig sind sowie eine Bushaltestelle direkt in der Straße. Wir hatten keinen Mietwagen, was wir nicht bereut haben. Der Nahverkehr ist unkompliziert zu nutzen und preiswert. In der Unterkunft riecht es leider im EG muffig, was unseren Aufenthalt aber nicht getrübt hat. Wir wurden mit Wasser und Wein begrüßt. Ritas Vater hat sich zwischendurch danach erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung sei.

Wat een heerlijke plek om te verblijven! Het huisje in Bugau was prachtig ingericht in een sfeervolle beach style, met oog voor detail en alles wat je nodig hebt was keurig aanwezig. Het zwembad was een groot succes bij de kinderen – heerlijk om in te spelen, al was het voor ons nog nét iets te koud. De omgeving is echt schitterend. Bugau ligt in een karakteristiek dorpje met leuke restaurantjes en op korte afstand van een mooi strand. De natuur rondom is prachtig en we hebben volop genoten van de rust. De Algarve blijft ons verrassen – we hebben een geweldige boottocht gemaakt waarbij we zelfs dolfijnen zagen! Een avontuurlijke en onvergetelijke ervaring. Kortom: een topverblijf op een fantastische plek. We komen graag nog eens terug!

Das Reihenhaus ist wunderschön! Wir waren im Februar 3 Wochen dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es befindet sich in einer umzäunten Wohnanlage, zu der Pool und Tennisplatz gehören und ein eigener überdachter Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Das Haus ist hell und schön eingerichtet; die Küche super ausgestattet. Tagsüber war es warm, für abends gab es einen „Hot-Spot“-Gas-Heizlüfter, der sehr gut funktionierte, aber auch nicht jeden Abend verwendet werden musste. Das Wetter war wunderbar, lediglich ein paar Regentage und ansonsten frühlingshafte Temperaturen mit viel Sonne. Februar ist ein super Monat, um dort Urlaub zu machen. Einige Restaurants hatten geöffnet, jedoch war die nahegelegene Partymeile noch geschlossen, sodass unsere kleine Familie dort zwar spazieren und gucken konnte, aber keine großen Menschenmassen unterwegs waren. Der Strand war oft menschenleer und wunderschön. Das Zentrum war easy in 20 min zu Fuß oder mit Bimmelbahn zu erreichen. Sharon ist eine super Gastgeberin

Very clean and well appointed! Close to many restaurants and parking was just down the road. Recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s. She was very responsive to any queries we had. The location is brilliant and the area is perfect for a family holiday with lots of activities, sports and the beach available on your doorstep. Thank you Maria!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Lagos und hätten dafür keine bessere Unterkunft finden können. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt (Küchenausstattung, Handtüchern, Möglichkeiten zum drinnen (sowohl schattig als auch sonnig) und draußen Sitzen). Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen und trotzdem war es abends ruhig (im April und wir haben im „hinteren“ Schlafzimmer übernachtet). Für alle, die gerne in vollkommener Dunkelheit schlafen - es gab in beiden Schlafzimmern Rollläden ;) Pedro war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar, ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns viele tolle Tipps geben können. (In der Unterkunft hängt überdies eine große Karte von Lagos, auf der einige Orte bereits markiert sind.) Außerdem hat er es uns ermöglicht ganz flexibel außerhalb der angegebenen „Check-in Zeiten“ anzukommen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und dankbar so eine tolle Unterkunft gefunden zu haben =)

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Sie war super ausgestattet und hatte alles, was man brauchte. Das Haus war sehr schön und es war sehr idyllisch! Vielen Dank ☺️

Die Wohnung hat unseren Erwartungen voll entsprochen. Sie ist gut gelegen und einfach zu finden. Der Blick aufs Meer war toll. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmässig und gemütlich, die Betten sehr bequem. Die Kommunikation mit Vasco war die ganze Zeit sehr nett, was wir geschätzt haben. Wir können dieses Airbnb unbedingt weiter empfehlen.

Irene was super friendly and responsive. We were welcomed with complimentary cookies and wine. Apartment was very clean and bedrooms are on the smaller side, as shown in the photos. Location is not in the historic city center but this did not disturb us. It is about a 20 min downhill walk to the old city. For the return it’s best to use Uber since it is an uphill walk, ( Uber is very cheep in Porto - about $5 for the return ). Irene was very accommodating and let us use the parking spot for a few hours after check out to park the car. It was also nice to have a washer and drier (note that they take time). Overall- met our expectations.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, from the bottle of wine and pasteis de nata when we arrived to the spacious and spotlessly clean rooms. The kitchen was large and well-stocked, and everything from the air conditioning to the hot tub (with stunning ocean views) worked smoothly. Restaurants and an Aldi are walkable or just a short drive away. We could not have asked for a better base for a relaxing stay in the Algarve!

Magnifique séjour chez Rosa. La maison est très confortable et très bien équipée. Nous avons été bien reçu par Rosa qui est flexible, aimable et très attentionné avec ses hôtes. Les garçons (12 et 13 ans) se sont régalés dans la piscine chauffée. Nous avons profité du bord de mer pour aller courir. La région est vraiment très belle. Encore merci Rosa pour l’accueil. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter!

Ein tolles und gemütliches Haus in einer wunderbaren Lage für eine große Familie. Man kann an der langen Strandpromenade zum Hafen spazieren oder joggen oder auch gleich mit dem Bus oder der alten Trambahn in die Innenstadt Porto fahren. Schade, dass unser Aufenthalt so schnell vorbei war. Liebe Grüße von uns allen und vielen Dank, dass wir Deine Gäste sein durften.

The view! Upper deck was lovely to sit on and look out. So beautiful to look at the ocean. The proximity to old town was great and so easy to walk to.

We had a fantastic time at Daniela's place. The house is exactly as described and as can be seen on the pictures. We loved that she left a bottle of wine and some croissants for breakfast for us upon arrival. The neighborhood is lovely and it is only a short walk to the beach and shops. We would definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the place.

Hi. We (my wife and I) loved our off-peak-season stay in Tavira. Francisco is a gentleman and a conscientious host. We had a smooth arrival, check-in, and courteous orientation. The apartment has a super location for exploring old downtown and lots of wonderful walking. The place is secure, clean, and very well appointed, including a large, excellent kitchen. There are many nooks to relax (bedroom, living room, outdoor bath tub, rooftop lounging, jacuzzi, etc.). The master bedroom at the rear is definitely the nicer of the two bedrooms. It is not as musty with better natural light and adjoining shower and toilet. The apartment's art and decor are very well chosen, cool, and add to the ambience. We wished we had booked more nights for our stay! One note (not a deal breaker): the walls with the adjacent apartment are pretty thin, and one night we were kept up in the wee hours by very loud continuous conversation. We will certainly book this apartment for our future visits.

Vi trivdes så bra, och längtar till nästa gång vi får besöka Carvoeiro och detta boende som motsvarade alla förväntningar med härliga terrasser, gemensam pool, och nära strand och strand resturanger. Dessutom med egen parkering. Mycket bra värd.

We had a really great time here, the property has a lot to offer! Everything was good in shape, clean and taken care of. We definitely would go back and totally recommend the property!

Antonio is a very kind person and the house is just as advertised. It is spacious and has a nice outdoor area to spend time in. The kitchen is well-equipped. My friends found the matresses in the "kids bedroom" and the bed upstaris very hard but this is certainly a matter of personal taste. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. Also there is no door to the upper level so the person sleeping there has to deal with noise coming from downstairs. The house is a 20-25 min walk away from the city center. All in all the house was as we expected it to be. Antonio was certainly very nice and helpul even though we did not meet in person. I can recommend his place.

Traumhafte Wohnung mit schönem Garten und viel Privatsphäre. Nachts ist es absolut ruhig, der Sternenhimmel und die fußläufig erreichbare Küste sind beeindruckend. Tolle Ausstattung (Spülmaschine!). Pedro ist ein perfekter Gastgeber! Proaktiv, gut erreichbar und einfach herzlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt Pedro! Ohne Auto ist man etwas isoliert, das ist das Einzige was man bedenken sollte.
