Can’t say enough about the host Alexandra she was fantastic. She got us a bottle of wine for my birthday, which was very special with the little card. She was very responsive to any text message & suggestions we asked her about . We have suggested a menu -info drawer & she was happy that we could create that! The Private Bay beach was right there at our footsteps. Our dog loved it , he had his freedom & we could do whatever we wanted! There was nobody around -no boats, no people , no traffic & across the street was the beach & it was less than five minute walk. We went there daily seen beautiful sunrise, & sunsets! Ideal location many awesome restaurants, Port St. Joe was a quick 10 minute drive away with a few restaurants too. Our favorite was Indian Raw bar & Longbills ! We definitely plan to go back in the future & explore some more. We also did some kayaking paddleboard & did some biking they provide for us .! Our dog even learned paddle boarding ! We loved it !

We loved the privacy of this home. It had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation focused on beach-going and fishing. The location was a great base for exploring Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, Appalachicola, St. George Island and Mexico Beach. Our hosts were very responsive and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay!

The house was great! Easy wagon to the beach for the day, with lots of toys and stuff for the kids to play with.

We had a lovely vacation on the Cape and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of Karen and Deane’s house. The location was great and we loved walking the boardwalk to nearby Selinas Park and on to the lovely Gulf beach. Nearby Port St Joe offered many amenities as did nearby Apalachicola. We stayed with our dog and found the whole area super dog friendly. This part of Florida is relatively quiet and not as built up as other southern cities. It had a very casual vibe. Even though we had a few unforeseen plumbing issues over the three weeks of our stay, the hosts were responsive to the problems and had them taken care of in a timely manner. We hope to be back to the Cape one day!

Wonderful and clean place. Loved the access to the beach right in the neighborhood. Nice restaurants and shops just a short drive in the golf cart. One comment that might be useful for anyone who is picky about bed firmness- beds are a firm memory foam. Not a bad thing, just a fact. Overall would absolutely stay again.

Sandy Paws is a big, uniquely lovely home in a very natural & wild but welcoming part of Florida. Andy & Travis have done an amazing job setting up the place to make guests feel comfortable & at home, including pets, which we deeply appreciate! (But if it weren't for conveniences like pet bowls & beds etc we wouldn't have known, as it was very clean.) The beds were nice & comfy while the kitchen has a great assortment of utensils, dishes & assorted things you tend to need on vacation. The decks & screened porch were big hits, plus many conveniences like bikes, outdoor shower & golf cart. It's even more spacious than the pictures suggest, with a fun game room & DS mini fridge, big Jacuzzi tub & peaceful, private location just a short walk/drive from the beach. The beach itself is beautiful, sunny, full of shells & not crowded, though we visited in the off season. TH Stone & local food+shops were excellent as well! We had a blast & can't recommend Sandy Paws & its hosts strongly enough.

We had a great stay here with our two fur babies. The house is cute and charming. Take note that the bay beach is across a pretty busy two lane road and the beach area is small there. However you can drive to cape San blas or Mexico beach in about 10 minutes. Port st joe is so nice and quiet, just don’t expect lots of choices for food 😊 communication with the host was easy.

This is a great house, with a great location. The beach was not crowded and the neighborhood is very walkable. We loved all the porches and the kitchen was very well stocked. We will definitely be back!!

Such an amazing spot! Gorgeous sunsets. Great for our families Spring Break. Far away from “Spring breakers”. Josh responds to any questions or needs within 20 minutes. Huge backyard, great for cornhole & lawn games. Approx. 50 min from the beach (due to Spring Break traffic), otherwise it wouldn’t take that long. (We knew this!) The converted garage to game room was a hit with our kids (10 yo to 18 yo) We had epic ping pong & darts battles over the 3 full days that we were there. Definitely an amazing spot!
