Had a great stay and it had everything we needed to make for a great weekend during a snowstorm. Would definitely go back. The hot tub was a added bonus which was super fun during the snowstorm.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful serene log cabin, located on the river. A very relaxing retreat to recharge and be in nature. The cabin is well equipped, beds are comfortable with nice linens. Kitchen works well and has most of what any chef would need. Hot tub was an added bonus and quite enjoyable as you watched the river float by. Eric was very responsive, and provided lots of information about the history of the home, area and suggested things we may want to do locally. We had the pleasure of seeing a beaver, mink, hawk and various ducks right outside the cabin during our stay. A tranquil stay. We hope to be back.

My husband and I stayed here in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. We could not have gotten any luckier with the weather or the view of the forest, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Kristin, Chris and Charlie were welcoming and kept to themselves. They put out extra firewood in a wheelbarrow so it was easily accessible for us. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the photos on the listing. The bed was so comfortable, both my husband and I had 2 great nights sleep and slept in. The hot tub was spacious and so enjoyable, I believe we were in and out at least 6 times. The instructions for the toilet and the rest of the cabin were easy to follow and we ran into 0 issues. We will certainly be back, if Kristin and Chris will have us 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

That was the perfect easter weekend, the place exceeded my expectations. You get what u see in the pics if not even more (extra access to shower, kitchen etc... if needed but not a must just to be clear) The hosts were super friendly, made us feel just home with their hospitality. definitely coming back again!

Angie and Bill were lovely hosts and their cabin made us feel comfortable and at peace on our vacation straight away. Lots of amenities (eg kayaks, canoes, corn hole, bbq, fire pit, hot tub, tented outdoor space, etc) which were all great to have easy access to. Cabin was beautiful, clean, and a refreshing space. Would definitely recommend a stay. Thanks for the lovely and much needed weekend away from the busy city life!

We had an amazing escape from the city at Matthew’s beautiful cabin! We could not get over how stunning and picture perfect it looked (literally out of a magazine), not a detail was missed when designing this. The cabin was so spacious, perfect for our girl group of 8, with a fully equipped kitchen that we used to cook all weekend long. We especially loved the big windows with lots of natural light & the hot tub! I would highly recommend Bettencourt lodge for your next girls getaway or family vacation!

Grant and Jo were friendly and provided lots of great recommendations. The Lakefront getaway is perfect, it’s beautifully decorated and has everything you could possible need. We loved hanging out in the backyard with Pete the potbelly pig, exploring the trails with our doggo and my husband caught some nice fish off the dock. We will definitely be back!

Host was responsive. We always got prompt reply about our query. Thanks Eugene. Denis was very helpful. Thanks for the pan Denis, we were able to make some eggs and fried some potatoes . Hot tub and sauna was fantastic.

We celebrated our new years here and we had a lot of fun. The cottage is very nicely situated in a peaceful loaction with a river flowing by the side. Jodi was responsive and made us feel at home, she was also welcoming to our requests.

They are very cooperative except parking and garbage disposal issues. Place is very nice , renovated and clean, hence you can ignore 2 issues

We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie's Airbnb! She was an excellent host—very responsive and attentive to our needs. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short due to an incoming snowstorm, but it didn't take away from our experience. If I had one piece of feedback, it would be regarding the walkway to the door—it should have been cleared, especially with the heavy snow we received. The melting icicles made it a bit slippery, and the driveway could have been cleared too, as it would have been easier to access the front door. Also, if you're planning to skate, the amount of snow made it difficult since there was slush underneath, so skating wasn't really an option. However, despite that, the space itself was great! We were a group of three families, with a total of 10 people and 2 dogs, and it was the perfect setup. The boys loved the outdoor firepit, and the moms enjoyed the indoor one. Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and Stephanie was a lovely host. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Roberts cabin for a weekend and loved it! Did not want to leave. There wasn't any wood left but he showed up within minutes to replace. The cabin was clean, cozy and very nice. It has everything you need. Beautiful surroundings. Will definitely visit again, thank you Robert!

We enjoyed our stay at Bill’s cottage. 5 of us stayed in total with 3 small terriers. Was great for our pups and us to enjoy for the weekend. The lake was clean and swimmable. Cottage was also clean. We rented a motor boat to get around the lake. If you want paddle boards or Kayaks, the marina said you need to call in advance. The brewery that you can get to by boat or car was quaint but the beer was tasty and the staff nice. The cottage is fairly close to neighbouring cottages so if you’re looking for total privacy, this may not be for you. We found the neighbours friendly and lots of kids around for those with kids.

I really enjoyed my stay! Such a close drive from the city and still very beautiful! I had so much doing all of the activities on the lake. I can’t wait to come back ❤️

This stay was exactly what my partner and our dog needed! It was peaceful and had all the essentials. The place gave us the chance to truly disconnect from our busy routine and we absolutely loved it.

Right in the middle of a forest, this cabin was so beautiful and peaceful! The cabin was truly amazing and cozy. It wasn’t too warm with the dehumidifier. The fireplace was magical too. Alexander was really helpful and brought us way more than we had asked for. He was able to find us an access point to the beach as well and just made our stay all the more special. We got to enjoy the best of two worlds. Definitely would recommend!

What a great place to stay! Astrid was beyond informative on how to make our stay even better, with local tips and tricks! Instructions were given with videos and pictures when needed or with great detail. I would definitely recommend and will be booking again!
