Nestled within the rolling hills of Herefordshire and surrounded on all four sides by Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is the perfect place to enjoy the English rural idyll, with plenty of railway history thrown in! The accommodation is situated on the site of the original station building which was operational from 1861 - 1965, and has been rebuilt in the style of a typical Great Western Railway building of the Victorian/Edwardian era. Dog friendly, but we stipulate a two dog maximum.

Our properties are registered with Visit England and are regularly inspected. Little Canwood House,Checkley, Herefordshire is 5* Gold rated! We do allow a well behaved dog to stay, max2. We make a small charge of £40 per dog per stay(this is on top of the rental which is payable to us directly), we sometimes ask for a Returnable Security deposit. We can provide a stair gate, a high chair, travel cot, shower chair and toilet seat riser. We strongly encourage guests to get travel insurance.

There are great walks, close-by fishing lakes, vineyards, and the Town of Ledbury and the City of Hereford. The location is quiet (though, this is the countryside, so expect sheep coughing and cows mooing!), ambient and beautiful, with outdoor BBQ area, large lawn and open space and a private drive.
