Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay for a short weekend getaway. Even though the weather wasn't great, Susan's place was so lovely and had plenty of space for everyone to play games or to get some time away for a nap in another room. We were happy just hanging out there much of the time! When it warmed up on our 2nd day the deck was another great space to use, with a beautiful view of the lake. We look forward to booking again sometime this summer and bringing our canoe! thanks again!

Very nice place. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I actually pulled a sheet up so I could see the brand so I could buy one for my own home.. lol.

Upon arrival we were impressed with the clean, open space. Teresa attention to detail was obvious. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were inviting and peaceful. We were able to grill out back and enjoyed the sunshine. A walk to town was delightful. The made from scratch Wild Roots cafe was delicious. Try their cinnamon rolls. The shoppers in the family enjoyed discovering a treasure at the local thrift/variety shop and the White House boutique. We plan to return for a ride on the Potomac Eagle when it’s running.

We had such a wonderful weekend celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday at Stephanie’s river house! The house was clean, modern, and lots of amenities and little touches that truly made it feel like home. We especially loved enjoying our meals in the little nook outside the kitchen wit a lovely view of the water. The place is private, very quiet, and has everything anyone would need for having fun inside and outside the home. It’s been years since we’ve roasted marshmallows over an open fire, but we took full advantage in doing so at night at the outside fire pit. Roasted marshmallows, open fire, comfy Adirondack chairs, by the river-doesn’t get much better than that! Stephanie was very quick in replying to every question I sent her way, from before I made the reservation all the way up through and including when we checked out. And speaking of check-out…check-in and check-out was a breeze. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away for the weekend, or longer!

Michael has a beautiful home to enjoy a relaxing vacation. He was very attentive and responsive to any questions that we had. Great host! Thank you, Michael !!

Great little cozy cabin for a quick getaway! The fire place, hot tub, and option to bring our dogs was a huge plus. Clean for a dog friendly property. Great location, convenient to the slopes and the town, but also private and peaceful. Brittany was very responsive, which we appreciated. The listing is correct, definitely need that 4wheel drive vehicle! We would love to return.

We had a wonderful weekend at Whispering Pines. The home had beautiful views, great lake access, and was the perfect distance from the restaurants and shops. We visited in the off season so there were not a lot of boats out and it was very quiet. There were some light bulbs out and things of that nature, but again, it was the off season. Everything about the home was perfect and allowed us to get away and truly just enjoy ourselves. I would definitely be interested in staying here again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful home and exceeded our expectations! The pictures don’t do this property justice. From the firepit, to the hot tub, to the basement, and everything in between everything was perfect. Roberta quickly responded anytime we needed anything. Most definitely will be coming here again!

The condo was amazing very roomy with two bedrooms. The second bedroom is accessible via a spiral staircase. I would stay there again. Dutch's Restaurant is next door and is highly recommended. The lake views are awesome from the Silver Tree and Dutch's decks. Keith is a great host and was very helpful with communication prior to arrival.
