Had a wonderful, relaxing time…. With direct access to lake. Had lots of fun swimming, on paddle boards and on canoe definitely fun for the kids and I !! Thank you !

Everything was wonderful. We had our own private fire pit, and we even got to enjoy a boat ride and some fishing. The people in the area were very friendly, and the location itself was beautiful and peaceful. The only downside was the beds, which were quite uncomfortable. Before booking, I had read some previous reviews, but in the end, I found this place to be one of the best in terms of price-performance. They make it clear in their descriptions and advertisements that they have maintained their prices for years, and they strive to offer the best service for the price. However, if you have any back problems or serious spinal issues, staying for more than three days could lead to some discomfort, as it did for me. But aside from that, there were no issues, and everything else was fantastic. Tue was a kind and welcoming person.

The cottage and property were gorgeous and was a perfect vacation getaway. Not only were the hosts friendly but they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us if we needed anything at all. This cottage is definitely a hidden gem that we plan to rent again in the future.

I recently spent a weekend at this charming rustic cabin. Nestled on 100 acres of serene wilderness, this cozy retreat was perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hosts are welcoming and attentive. The cabin offers comfort and tranquility.

My husband and I stayed here in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. We could not have gotten any luckier with the weather or the view of the forest, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Kristin, Chris and Charlie were welcoming and kept to themselves. They put out extra firewood in a wheelbarrow so it was easily accessible for us. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the photos on the listing. The bed was so comfortable, both my husband and I had 2 great nights sleep and slept in. The hot tub was spacious and so enjoyable, I believe we were in and out at least 6 times. The instructions for the toilet and the rest of the cabin were easy to follow and we ran into 0 issues. We will certainly be back, if Kristin and Chris will have us 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The place was nice and the host was very friendly and responsive. The only slight downside would be a lack of kitchen towel and garbage bags: for a group of 6 with 4 nights stay, a total of 8 garbage bags(1 in each washroom, 1 in garbage can, +5 spares) and half a roll of kitchen towel were provided. Those would not be enough if you plan to cook a meal everyday. But the host addresses all our inquiries within the hour and that was nice.

Great time at this tiny house! The place had lots of privacy and was well-equipped. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot. Great for snowmobiling. Right on the trail and the trails were in amazing shape.

JoeAnn were amazing, we were celebrating our anniversary and they kindly brought a Prosecco and 2 glasses to celebrate!! The place was perfect for a gateway, cozy and calm. We will be definitely coming back!! If you are looking to scape from the city for a while this is the perfect spot!

My boyfriend and I came here for the weekend to enjoy some quiet relaxation. We found the place without issues, and all the instructions provided were clear and accurate. The place was spotless! Which was a bit surprising because it’s a cabin in the woods! We had a wonderful stay. The space was perfect, cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including enough firewood to keep the stove going. We were plenty warm. It was a bit muddy this weekend so we didn’t explore any trails, but walking down the road was peaceful and we ever saw some deer! Eventhough there are neighbours on both sides, it felt private because the huge main window looks out onto the beautiful creek. We watched ducks, and birds and even saw a ?martin running around! Very cute. We pre made a few meals and used the propane cook top to heat them up. The outhouse was only a few steps away, but far enough to have a little extra privacy. We would definitely stay again :)

Perfect spot for a few days by the lake! Cabin was cozy and clean with everything we needed. We had great weather so just walked over the road and went for a canoe on the lake each day. Angela was super helpful and flexible. Will be back in the summer!

Brett is a one of a kind host - responsive, helpful, caring, and proactive. He didn’t hesitate or delay in answering our questions leading up to our trip and while we were at the property. His property is immaculately maintained, with all the small touches that make it feel like home for all guests. We encountered a weather emergency during our stay, and he proactively reached out to provide us with contingency plans, which took us by complete surprise. He truly wants every guest to have a perfect visit, and he should be proud of the experience he provides. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again.

The place was more than what we had expected. Everyone in the community was nice and welcoming. The place had different types of activities so you are never bored. This is definetly a place my friends and I want to come to again in the future.

Cassey’s cottage was ideal for a weekend getaway from the city. Lovely, spacious and bright. Beautiful lake with swans swimming on the lake in front as well as eagles, geese, otters and all sorts of other wildlife.

I highly recommend a stay at Lisa's charming cabin. From the moment we arrived, Lisa was incredibly accommodating and attentive, ensuring our visit was nothing short of delightful. Her local knowledge added a special touch to our trip, guiding us to some fantastic restaurants that truly enriched our experience. The cabin itself was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect retreat. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning!

This is a such a nice property! Truly a couple's retreat! Sunset over the Trent River followed by a million stars while enjoying a relaxing hot tub soak. Very clean, fresh and nicely appointed inside. The guidelines provided ensure that the owner really cares about your experience! Would definitely visit this chance to relax under the stars again!
