Tanya and Peter were great hosts. They answered any questions we had and responded quickly. The area was quiet and home was private, it's exactly what we were looking for. Port Hope and Cobourg are very close by if you want to get out for a few hours and eat at a restaurant, get groceries, walk the streets and shop their downtown areas or just want to view the towns old buildings. We also made use of the fire pit on site and enjoyed that with a cup of tea. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone that just needs a break.

This was our family's second stay at the house. The cottage has everything you can ask for, all the amenities a beautiful waterfront and all comforts. Not to mention two saunas and a hot tub. Steve and Irena are great hosts and make us feel right at home every time we stay over. It's always a very enjoyable stay!

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

Our stay at the cottage was very enjoyable. The cottage was very clean with all essentials and many pleasant extras included like Keurig machine, bbq, kayaks and canoes, fire pit, and pool. The lake is quiet here with access to it steps from the cottage. A little boat house is also available with many life jackets for adults and kids. Fishing can be done at the dock. Rich was an excellent and responsive host. He answered all my questions promptly and helped us literally within minutes when we needed additional info about the area. We definitely would recommend friends to stay at this lovely cottage!

Very clean and cozy! Amazing countryside scenery, magical sunset and sunrise. Also the host was very nice and helpful. We also had so much fun with their farm animals. Kids loved it. Thanks for everything!

We loved our stay at Neil and Janin’s Chalet. The Chalet is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The setting is tranquil, private and peaceful. It was especially beautiful at this time of year because of the leaves changing. Everything exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to returning!

We had a great weekend with our group. Cottage is beautiful and well kept. Hosts are accommodating and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that you enjoy your stay. Would bring my family here every year if only they allowed dogs. Will be booking again!

We absolutely loved the place! The views of the lake were stunning, and the natural light indoors, thanks to all the windows, made the space feel so bright and welcoming. The place was beautifully organized too. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short due to a power outage in the area, which left us without water since the pump relies on electricity. However, the host was very accommodating and always kept us updated. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Betty’s place is excellent. A beautiful view over the water and a lovely interior. Highly recommend it.

There is not much more to say about these hosts and their beautiful, Zen getaway. I've thoroughly enjoyed each stay at Owen's Airbnb and will continue to return as long as I am able. Their price is much more reasonable than some of the other fancy cottages on Stoney Lake, but it is a short drive to the closest launch and they offer ample parking for boats, trailers, etc. I am thankful to call these hosts my new friends :)

I can’t wait to visit again with my kids. The space was absolutely worth it! From the moment we arrived, our host, Chidera, made us feel truly welcome. We were greeted with a lovely selection of chocolates and fresh fruits, which my kids enjoyed so much, especially the chocolates! The home was comfortable, clean, and perfect for our stay. With Walmart and FreshCo just nearby, grocery shopping was super convenient. Chidera is a wonderful host. She is kind, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. Anuhea was an amazing host. The place is as described, beautiful & cozy. Short waltz to downtown Peterborough. Did not have enough time in our quick visit to do the sauna, but what a bonus!!! We would stay a hundred times over & bigly recommend these wonderful people & their guest suite.

Apartment #4 is a cozy and warm place to stay in Campbellford. We have enjoyed Debra’s hospitality several times over the past few years, and she always makes us welcome!

Wonderful experience from start to the end. Lisa goes above and beyond with best accommodation and recommendations. Felt like we came home and enjoyed peaceful and beautiful surroundings. My favorite place was by the dock, surrounded by clear waters and greenery for miles. We had enjoyed taking daily canoe trips, visiting waterfall as per Lisa’s recommendation! Thanks again! Gwen and Ken were exceptionally friendly and welcoming to us during our stay. Its a lovely spot between the lake and forest where you can hear the sounds of nature and if your lucky, find some beavers.

We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

My partner and I had a wonderful long weekend at Krista's bunkie. It was so warm and cozy, a perfect place to hunker down over a snow stormy weekend. Krista was very friendly and responsive, she reached out a couple times throughout our stay to ensure all was well and to see if we needed anything. The bunkie is fully stocked with all the essentials you'd need(paper towels,Kleenex,salt,pepper,olive oil etc.)and is super homey. Overall, super peaceful and relaxing stay- Highly recommend!

Cabin Bjorn was everything we expected - and more! Set on a beautiful property surrounded by tall trees and the Irondale River, it truly is a slice of paradise. We were so fortunate to spend four days here, relaxing and unwinding. Cassidy’s a fantastic host and we hope to be back this summer!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Had a wonderful stay, the cabin was absolutely perfect. Very cute, clean and well appointed. I will definitely be back. I strongly urge vacationers to try Honeys Diner, down the Rd, delicious breakfasts and the Woodview convenience store has all your last minute items that you may need, not to mention very yummy locally made cheesecake and butter tarts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -Linda 🙌

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.

We had the most wonderful 2-night stay at The Nook, a beautifully converted barn that truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful setting and the charming character of the property. The barn has been thoughtfully renovated—retaining its rustic charm while offering all the modern comforts you could want. The interior was cozy, stylish, and spotless, with a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and lovely touches throughout that made it feel special. One of our favorite features was the dedicated meditation area, complete with yoga mats and calming décor—it was the perfect space to unwind and reconnect.
