We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. We had a great family stay for our weekend of skiing. The Moosehead Cottage Resort is perfectly located near Greenville and only a 10 minute drive to Big Moose Mountain. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home. The cabin (#1) was cozy and beds were comfortable. Our kids had a lot of fun at the common pool and spa area. There is some deferred maintenance in that area, but everything was functional. We had a great stay and would stay there again in the future.

The house was great! We felt totally secluded and private but within an hour or less of MANY great things to do such as hiking, great restaurants and cool attractions. we probably could have had a great week just staying at the house though :)

Host was very responsive and friendly. The home was a little out of the way from major spots in Maine (Acadia, Portland, etc...), however, it was a very nice place to settle down and rest with friends.

My husband and I came back to Maine to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, this cabin was the absolute most perfect place to do so! The photos are so beautiful, but arriving and walking into this space was unmatched! You can tell how much attention and intention is put into this cabin. I have never felt more relaxed, safe, and comfortable in an Airbnb before. I’m a bit of a germ freak and can’t sleep in most beds that aren’t my own but that wasn’t even close to being the case here! The space is SO clean, including the bathroom! For a detached space I cannot believe how cozy and clean it felt. Our fur baby came with us, she’s a medium sized dog, the space was so accommodating for her! There were treats (which she loved) and food bowls for her! The property is the perfect size to allow your fur baby to stretch their legs too! Indie especially loved the adult bean bag chair, we could not keep her off! We will 100% be coming back, so grateful for our stay. Thank you for having us!

We had a great time at the Bambi Inn! Our family loved our time at this private gem of a getaway, plenty of things to do (or not do and just relax) Items and procedures unique to this cottage were clearly labeled which made our stay there easy peasy! Penty of recommendations and items we didn't know we need were there also! Close proximity to Mount Desert Island and Acadia, as well as Lamoine beach state Park for walking etc. Char was super responsive, welcoming, and helpful too! All in all, a wonderful vacation getaway experience!

We had a wonderful visit at Caitlin’s cozy cabin! Loved watching the sunrise in the morning from the front porch and winding down with a glass of wine in the evening outside. Caitlin and Jackie were both very responsive and great hosts - will be staying here again!

I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

Great stay; were very accommodating about our repeated, rather last-minute extensions of our stay. All I would say is that if you’re visiting in winter , you’ll definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to the house! But other than that, it was perfect for our needs and we really appreciated how accommodating Hui, Roger, and Cindy were of our changing plans. Very well stocked with cleaning supplies and kitchen things as well. Tub was really nice for my little one and we enjoyed the wood stove. Also very clear instructions and ultra quick response times. Very private. I’m sure in warmer months the fire pit outside area are really nice; as wintertime guests, once we got the car in, we appreciated being able to park so close and the absence of stairs or steps to navigate and the covered porch in front of the entry for loading and unloading.

The airbnb is indeed cozy, but just as described. As others detail, it's a great pit stop to get some rest and fuel before heading back to the trail. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The shower was quite small and the bedroom can be tight if sharing beds. No AC, but the unit does have some efficient heating units in each room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this camp.

Had a wonderful time. Very close to relatives look forward to staying again. Original builder was quite a craftsman. Can appreciate the time & effort needed to create a home like this one.

Kimberly is a wonderful host! She made sure to check in with us and see that everything was fine, and informed us well about how to get to the home as well as all the amenities available to us and other things to watch out for (such as being off the grid, etc.). I would definitely come back again!

We’ve stayed here a couple of times, once under previous ownership. It was clean and a great stay for a long weekend of snowmobiling.

Had a great and peaceful stay. The place was very clean and had everything one needs for a relaxed vacation. Loved the nature all around and the environment it created to actually relax.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Michelle was a great host and the property was everything we wanted and more. We honestly found ourselves spending more time just enjoying the property and the surroundings then some of our planned activities. It was truly hard to leave and we would come back and stay in a heart beat!

We had a very restful three days at Rod’s lovely cabin. This is a fantastic place to stay for those seeking to experience the midcoast area for what it is (without all the tourist traps and hustle and bustle that you’ll find in Bar Harbor area). Don’t sleep on this gem!

This was my second stay at Andrea and Jamey's place, and I'll be beck again next time I'm in the area. If you're looking for modern accommodations in a location that's great to relax and unwind, this is the spot. Easy check in/out. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Great place with a few need to know before you go items: the cabin is not marked with the address, the GPS says you have arrived when you are at the neighbor's cabin, and there was not a hair dryer. We would recommend coming in the day light to match the photos with the cabin and to check what you may need at the store. Overall, this is a great place worth visiting.
