Spring Cottage, a cosy cotswold stone cottage

Our cottage sleeps 5-6 and is nestled in the Cotswold escarpment below Rodborough Common with over 300 acres of open countryside giving dramatic views over Stroud and the Severn Vale. Off the beaten track but only a short walk to Stroud. A great place to stay anytime of the year but with a woodburner it is very cosy in the winter. Only 1.5hrs by train from London. Loads of good walks nearby inc Cotswold Way. Short drives to Bristol, Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Highchair,cot, stairgate available.

Only 10 min walk from the train station , and the historical town centre is this charming studio flat.Set in Laurie Lee's Birth home, formerly known as #2 Glenville Terrace, this studio Flat has been thoroughly refurbished, with a warm and cosy feel to it. The beautiful Slad valley is 25 min walk from the studio and the newly renovated Stroud canal , only 10 min. There are several Pubs within walking distance the nearest only 100 yards down the road. This lovely Victorian home set in an area of outstanding natural beauty comes with central heating, underfloor heating and a log fire (logs provided) which makes it a warm, cosy place. There are amazing walks along the Cotswold Way which goes through the village. There are stunning bike rides in the area and we provide a very secure bike shed to store your bikes. The mattresses are very high quality to ensure a really good night’s sleep. No under 16’s. 11am checkout available on Sundays.

Stratford Court is a beautiful Grade II listed home in the heart of the Cotswolds. The tastefully renovated and secluded accommodation is the former Servants' Quarters on the top floor accessed by the original 1600s stone staircase. It really is “Downstairs Upstairs” with two en suite double bedrooms (Hudson & Bridges) and each can be made up with either King Size or Twin beds. This is an idyllic location with stunning views but many amenities and attractions are within walking distance.

Our space is a self contained studio with a bed, sofa, workspace and air con, light and airy it is the ideal base to explore the Stroud Valleys. N.B. THERE IS BUILDING WORK ON OUR HOUSE, THE ANNEXE IS A SEPARATE BUILDING BUT CLOSE TO OUR HOUSE. WORK WILL BE MON-FRI ONLY, BUT THERE WILL BE BUILDING MATERIALS AND MESS IN THE GARDEN. The interior of the annexe will be unaffected, but we have reduced the price to reflect the substandard exterior. Please only book if you understand this.

The Garden Studio Graywalls Stroud

5 mins walk from Stroud train station, the wood clad Garden Studio is airy and modern and surrounded by green. It overlooks our garden, and apart from the trains (only 2 an hour) it’s peaceful but also so close to the pretty hilly town of Stroud. The bustling farmers market on a Saturday is a great fun and the commons and walks are spectacular. There is parking on our drive. To get to the studio walk down the gravel pathway past our front door. The key hold is by the studio door.

A self contained first floor studio apartment with private entrance, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom located in the beautiful Painswick Valley. The studio is a attached to a large house and guests are welcome to enjoy our gardens when not in use by our family. It sleeps 4 (1 double and 1 sofa bed in the same room). Self catered- but can stock fridge in advance on request. Easy access to Stroud, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tetbury, Cirencester. Beautiful local walks and pubs.
