We had such a good time at the Lawry Lodge! This beautiful house was able to accommodate 8 of us comfortably. The kitchen is where people hangout, eat good food, and enjoy each other’s company and this kitchen checked all the boxes. Very well-appointed pantry with all the accessories you’d ever need. The view was stunning! We took a nice winter stroll to a nearby pub for an Old Fashioned with gently falling snow to make it perfect. Ronda was very helpful and quick to respond when needed. Very happy to have found this little slice of heaven and hope to be back again someday.

Six of us stayed there for a long weekend and we were perfectly comfortable. The cabin is beautiful and spacious. The outdoor surroundings were gorgeous and in full fall color. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We surely would book Adrian’s place again.

Robin’s space was perfect. We loved the location..it is truly in the middle of the woods. The house is small - but perfect for traveling with close family. The beds were very comfy, nice water pressure in the shower, and the kitchen had everything we needed. During our stay we spotted deer walking across the property - which we loved seeing! So quiet, aside from the chorus of birds :). We will absolutely be back - thanks for having us!

Overall, the house was great. Very spacious and everything (appliances) seemed like it was brand new. Bedrooms were great and there was room for everyone in our party. The loft space has two queen beds and the basement couch transforms into a bed as well. The view from the deck is breathtakingly beautiful and even though you are right off Hwy 51, the location was private and convenient. The rental provides free kayaks and pedal boat which was great to take advantage of. The lake is swimmable, but none of us did so - and the fishing was sparse. Finding the driveway off Hwy 51 was challenging to say the least. There is a back way to get to the home as well and we found that useful throughout our stay. Great option for a larger group that is close to everything

This listing was more beatiful than what words and pictures can describe. Perfect accommodations for our stay in the area. Mary & Andy were so polite and kind and respectful. Couldn't ask for greater hosts. We will be back.

This was an amazing place to stay with family to celebrate a winter holiday weekend. Beautiful, private location that was a quick drive into Minocqua for groceries and anything else you may want. Huge living spaces to gather all together and it was amazing to have full bathrooms in each bedroom. Only slight negatives were one bed that was very sunken in the middle (but thankfully we had a younger adult staying with is whose back could handle it!) and some difficulties figuring out what each light switch did. Overall, it was an incredible place to stay in the winter, with great accommodations for 5 adults, and I can imagine it being an even more incredible place to stay in the summer months to enjoy the small private lake.

Jay was an awesome host! We booked our traveler at Jay's property last minute for her shifts at a local medical facility. He extended our traveler's check-out time, so she could sleep after she was called into the hospital for a night shift. We appreciate Jay's communication and flexibility, and strongly recommend this property!

Jodi’s cabin was perfect!!! It fit our family of 10 comfortably! The kitchen was loaded with appliances, pots and pans, and utensils. It was very clean. The hot tub was great, clean, and relaxing. Would definitely go again and refer others. Jodi was also very responsive.

5 Stars – Absolutely Perfect Stay! Our stay was flawless from start to finish. The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. The location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
