Brandon’s home is a wonderful place to stay in West Bloomfield. The location is tucked away deep in the neighborhood, so it is very quiet and peaceful. The nearby lake is gorgeous, along with all the surrounding greenery. The home itself is cozy with an incredibly friendly dog who is a literal bundle of love. Brandon is kind and super down to earth and will do everything he can to help you enjoy your stay. The bed is comfy and the bedroom gets a nice breeze from the lake—the perfect way to fall asleep. We enjoyed our stay in Ishin’s home. The home was comfortable, spacious for a family of 7 and equipped with everything we needed. Ishin messaged us to welcome us and to ensure we had everything we needed. I made breakfast every morning in a fully stocked kitchen. The neighborhood was very quiet and conveniently located near a Walmart and BJs. Our purpose for the visit was to watch the Yankees play the Tigers and the Knicks play the Piston’s. Ishin’s home was within 25 minutes of Coamerica Park and Little Caesar’s Arena which is a perfect distance for those not wanting to stay in the city. If we ever go back to Detroit we’d definitely stay in Ishin’s home.

Ishin's place was great and close to everything! It took 25 minutes to get from the house to downtown Detroit. It was a 7 minute drive to Kroger, Target and Meijer. Restaurants and other shopping were all within a 5-10 minute drive from the house. The beds are extremely comfortable. The house is a bit smaller than I imagined from the photos but it was perfect for two people. Loved having a gas stove to cook on and the boho swing chair on the back porch. The lack of counter space in the upstairs bathroom was remedied by using the desk and full length mirror in bedroom. Had a few issues arise but Ishin responded within minutes and things were resolved to our satisfaction. Although the temperature was controllable from the thermostat, some of the settings are managed remotely by the host and not adjustable. We had to fidget with the thermostat regularly to keep it comfortable in the (Cape Cod style) upstairs bed and bath. Highly recommend this accommodation and would stay again!
