What a gem of a place to stay! Matthew and his family are very welcoming! The “white room” was perfect with lots of windows, very comfortable bed and wonderful linens. Bath was roomy with quality towels. I had an amazing dinner in their pub. Enjoyed a refreshment on the outside deck and moved inside for the best pasta. 100% recommend.

Rose's Apt. @ Salty Rose's and the Periwinkle Café

We love our stay in Rose's Apartment at the Salty Rose and Periwinkle Cafe. The décor was tasteful, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking basic meals - a must when visiting during the off-season when most restaurants are closed. Sarabath and Caitlyn provided clear instructions on how to access the apartment, and left some nice little touches such as soap from the neighboring soap-maker. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't enjoy a latte and pastry at the Periwinkle Cafe, as it had closed for the seasons a few days prior. But that's on us for visiting at the end of October when tourist season is done. We would 100% recommend the apartment to other travelers!

Tara’s place is thoughtfully decorated, and has a lot of extra touches that make it 5 stars. Phone chargers next to the bed, Bluetooth speaker, kitchenette in the common area with microwave, coffee, wine glasses, homemade cookies, candy jar and fridge with bottled water, soda water and milk. Bed is comfortable and house is spotless. Tara is a responsive host and check in is easy. Parking is right outside and it’s a quick 5 min walk to a bunch of restaurants and the waterfront.

The room was very large and very clean. Bed is comfortable and the amenities provided are great. The only drawback is that it is a little noisy as it is right on the road, which can’t be helped, and it does quiet down at night. There is some noise from the restaurant. To be fair, this is noted in the description and the restaurant was not open late. Overall we felt the pros outweighed the cons.

Absolutely one of the best places to stay in the area. It’s like a home away from home. Shannon was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, she made our stay very easy and comfortable. Huge plus was getting to see a baby goat.

We stayed here for 11 nights for our wedding and it was perfect. They were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. We were sad to have to check out this morning…we can’t wait to come back and visit down the road. Thank you for everything!

What a great spot. The main floor of the bnb has a bar, lounge, and is well appointed with everything you need. The room was cozy and had a beautiful bathroom with large soaker tub. We visited in January and Leanne was kind enough to upgrade us to an ocean view. It was perfect.

Sie haben uns mit einem tollen Frühstück überrascht- das sollte man nicht verpassen. Craig hat uns großartige Tipps für Wanderungen und Restaurants in der Umgebung gegeben. The Rum Runner Inn is the perfect location for a visit to Lunenburg. Conveniently located right in the heart of town so everything is within walking distance. It is clean, quiet and comfortable. Tim went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We would highly recommend to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying with Cheryl and Dwight at the Earle of Leinster Bed and Breakfast. Cheryl and Dwight were delightful, conversations with the other guests were so interesting, everyone was helpful with local recommendations and tips, and the breakfast was delicious! It was so much fun to hear about the history of the house and the area.

Good place to stay. Small hiccup on early check-in option presented by Airbnb, but that may be more a hidden setting and Airbnb's issue. Carmen was best kind. Everything was easy and quiet and convenient once checked in. Would happily stay here again and recommend. Great location, very comfortable atmosphere in the place.

We thoughorly enjoyed our stay here. It was like being back in time. This vintage hotel is sweet and very characteristic of the period . It was established in 1895. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Host, Carmen, was so accommodating and is attentive to all your needs.

I had a generally good experience during my stay. The place was clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. The shower was pretty nice 👍 Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would consider staying here again.

We loved the proximity to the Cabot Trail and the Highlands Park along with the lovely setting in a beautifully restored old house. The Lily room was comfortable and roomy. Besides the special treat of a morning specialty drink and pastry in the dining room, it was a bonus for us to meet and get to know other travelers, making new friends!

John is both engaging and a great ambassador for Baddeck and the Cabot Trail. His Inn is wonderful and full of local history. His knowledge of the area and recommendations where fantastic. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. We highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.

Our stay was for the one night was excellent! The room was cozy and clean with the decor in the entire house very unique and funky. I loved the wall art and the cute little coffee station with an old fashion fridge added to the charm. I love my coffee in the morning with actual creamers . A nice added touch! Communication from Silvie was exceptional !
