We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

We had a great family stay for our weekend of skiing. The Moosehead Cottage Resort is perfectly located near Greenville and only a 10 minute drive to Big Moose Mountain. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home. The cabin (#1) was cozy and beds were comfortable. Our kids had a lot of fun at the common pool and spa area. There is some deferred maintenance in that area, but everything was functional. We had a great stay and would stay there again in the future.

Overall a incredibly lovely place to stay. WiFi worked well and was fast which is definitely a must considering there is no cell service in that area. We mainly stayed in and at the AirBNB for the trip but there’s plenty to do around in the area if that’s more your fancy. Everything was neat and tidy, clean for when we arrived. Decor, vibes, and general aesthetic and atmosphere of the house was great too.

Host was very responsive and friendly. The home was a little out of the way from major spots in Maine (Acadia, Portland, etc...), however, it was a very nice place to settle down and rest with friends.

Our family couldn't have asked for a better place for our annual reunion! The house was spacious yet cozy, offering plenty of room for everyone to relax. We loved unwinding in the hot tub after full days of skiing at Sugarloaf, which was conveniently close while still giving us that peaceful mountain retreat feel we were looking for. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything we needed to prepare family meals, and the house was immaculately clean upon arrival. Our kids were thrilled to discover the toys - such a thoughtful touch we weren't expecting! The hosts were responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. What made this stay truly special was how comfortable everyone felt - it really became our home away from home for the week. We've already decided this will be our go-to spot for future family ski trips. Absolutely recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Ben’s place. We loved having a fenced in yard that our pup could run around in while we sat in the hot tub. Everything was very clean and the space was incredibly relaxing and tranquil.

It was the perfect little cozy place to stay while we were snowmobiling. Could not beat the price for the space we had! We will definitely stay again!

This cabin was very well kept, cleaned and comfortable. There were many accommodations there that were helpful for a week long stay. The owners were great to deal with and check in/check out were very smooth. If you’re looking for a place to stay in northern Maine this is it!

Spent a week on a family snowmobiling trip at Greg's place. This spot offers access to some of the absolute best riding in the state! The place was very accommodating and spacious. It is a true camp, but certainly has some modern amenities and comforts. Just remember, it is a true Maine camp. If you are looking for a place to use as HQ for a snowmobile or ATV trip, I highly recommend Greg's place. Greg is also a very responsive and helpful host.

My sisters and I had a wonderful four days at Kitahdin's Rest. The setting is spectacular, especially when you kayak or canoe or ski out to the middle of the lake (or even just out of the bay) and see Mount Kitahdin in all her glory. It is very close to Baxter Park, which was why we chose Erin's cabin. We could get to the Togue Pond Gate in 15 minutes with all the exquisite trails in front of us. The cabin had what we needed and we were very comfortable.

Adorable cabin with just what you need and a friendly host! Private, peaceful location. Perfect for a quiet getaway weekend! The area has so much to offer from snowmobiling to ATVing, hiking and site seeing. Check out the local farm stands! Also, Salted Butter Farm in Sherman and Katahdin Brew Works for local food and brews with friendly staff!

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

This home was conveniently located for my purposes and was a perfect space for the number of guests I had. The space was beautiful, as was the location. We were comfortable and satisfied with all parts of the home. There was a small problem with a frozen pipe when we arrived, due to the frigid outside temperatures, and our hosts immediately took care of the issue. We would definitely stay again if needed in the future!

Had a wonderful time. Very close to relatives look forward to staying again. Original builder was quite a craftsman. Can appreciate the time & effort needed to create a home like this one.

I loved this stay! Went for my birthday! Very Pet friendly and the host stocked the cabin with tons of necessities, and was very detailed with the things she had for us! Tons of space for your dog to run and play! Very peaceful and private! Dead quiet! Sooo healing for the soul! This was a much needed stay and a 10/10! So many memories were made this past weekend and we are already talking about coming back! Our dog gave it two paws up!

We had a blast during our stay! We enjoyed lots of outdoor activities and adventuring. The host gave us tons of great tips on where to go and what to do. Would definitely recommend :)

Such a peaceful cozy cabin!!! if your looking to get away from it all this is the place! We went in the winter for a snowmobile trip, trails were right out of the backyard!!! Driveway was big enough for my 4place drive in/out trailer and truck. About a 10min snowmobile ride to moosehead lake. The cabin was rustic yet with updated appliances. Every morning we would wakeup have our coffee while we watched a heard of deer in the neighbors yard play. We couldn't have asked for a better trip!! Thank you Daniel for allowing us to enjoy your cabin!!!

Great place with a few need to know before you go items: the cabin is not marked with the address, the GPS says you have arrived when you are at the neighbor's cabin, and there was not a hair dryer. We would recommend coming in the day light to match the photos with the cabin and to check what you may need at the store. Overall, this is a great place worth visiting.

We came up as we were looking to snowmobile directly off the trail. The cabin couldn’t be much closer to the trail, even though we couldn’t ride from the cabin as the snow melted quick. The place was as described and plenty of room for parking with a trailer. Karen gave clear and simple instructions and was very responsive to any questions. Great location near the Shin Pond/Patten area for enjoying the outdoors. Mattresses were comfy and the cabin was well-stocked with kitchen utensils/bakeware.

We hit Jack with a lot of questions about local attractions and snowmobile trails. jack was very quick to respond and gave us many options as to local attractions and things to do. Jack was more than accommodating to anything we needed. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
