Our stay was excellent. House was exactly as advertised and fit our needs perfectly. We were a large group including young children and everyone had plenty of space both for sleeping and recreation. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you needed to cook your meals. Host was responsive and very clear with instructions and answering questions. 5/5 stars. Would highly recommend. A quick note for future guests. If the weather is cold the kitchen floor gets cold. Would recommend packing slippers.

Our family (and dog) stayed for Thanksgiving weekend and we had an amazing time. There is a gorgeous 0.8 mile walk in the woods right from the back of the house. We loved the hot tub! And we made fires in the fireplace every day. The kitchen was well appointed and we were easily able to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. We were close to Great Barrington, Lenox, and Stockbridge. Great food. Great shopping. Guidos in Pittsfield was great for food shopping. The house and setting were perfect. We will definitely be back!

This was a great home away from home. Wish it didn’t rain as much as it did. We really wanted to walk the grounds more. Inside was cozy and warm. Anything you needed it was there. Definitely thinking about coming back in the winter because it would be a perfect winter wonderland. Thanks again Sophon

I give this place 10/10. The house was amazing! It was immaculate and soo well stocked. The kitchen was free of any clutter but had everything we needed. The host was unbelievably responsive w/ anything we asked. We can’t wait to go back!

A peaceful location with chill activities for all ages...we enjoyed the phonograph, the retro Atari, the hot tub, the window bird feeder, and watching birds in the spacious yard and conservation area. Herons, hawks, and songbirds viewed. The hot tub was sparkling clean, and the linen robes were a thoughtful touch. Wifi worked great. We arrived late but instructions for entry were crystal clear. Virginia answered my questions promptly and warmly. Definitely a winner.

Second time staying here, and we continue to love it! The location is great: pretty much anything in western Mass can be reached within about an hour or less from the house. At the house itself, you have a clean, comfortable, and ample space. The hot tub overlooking the river is definitely a highlight. The sounds of the river and the occasional rumble of trains passing by create a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

This is at least our 4th time staying at what we call "The Farm" and it is our favorite getaway! We even got my brother to drive 1.5 hours out of his way on his family trip to Boston so he could check it out. A rare gem!

We had a great stay. The pictures are accurate but the house feels better in person as the rooms flow together very well, and the entire house gets a lot of natural light throughout the day. The house is cozy but not at all cramped; it's more spacious than I expected for a vintage farmhouse. All of us enjoyed the yard with its various accoutrements. We used the fire pit, hot tub, and trampoline extensively. We enjoyed the local restaurants. Everything was in immaculate condition, and the owners were very responsive throughout.

This was our sixth visit to Maple Hill Farms — we just can’t get enough of it! Philip truly the best host, and his home is pure magic. We’re so grateful to have met him and to experience his incredible hospitality and a property filled with the most amazing creatures.

We had a great stay at Lilac Ridge! The house was near and spacious, plenty of room for our family. We stayed in quite a bit and enjoyed the farm (including a visit with the calves!) and the house. The little farm stand had some nice things, including fresh eggs, maple syrup, honey, and soap, all local. Ross and Amanda were super responsive and took care of all our needs. Thanks so much!

It was very peaceful, great get away from the city. Good for the dogs. The copper tub is amazing, we could not get enough of it. And the dual showers felt so good. It felt very homey. Mr. John was a a great host.

We recently enjoyed a lovely stay at The Carriage Barn in Guilford. Our host, Katherine, was very responsive to everything we might have needed during our visit: a very easy check in and out process, detailed instructions on how everything worked, items for our comfort (a gift of delicious chocolates, many fluffy towels, silky sheets, etc.), and was easily available via texting. The photos of her restored historic barn are very accurate - it's a beautifully designed renovation and is decorated with lovely art pieces, cozy furniture, and a huge library of books for your enjoyment. The tv works great and so does the WiFii. We traveled with our small dog and there is a baby gate available that easily snaps onto the staircase posts so I was not concerned about my dog's safety.. Best of all is the beautiful views of the gorgeous Vermont countryside. You'll see lovely sunsets here and spectacular sunrises. It's a great spot to truly relax.

I genuinely don't know what to say other than the fact that this may be one of the greatest places I've had the honor to lodge at. I did a lot of vetting across New England to find a wonderful place that could sleep a decent amount of people, provide a scenic and comfortable escape, and keep us entertained. Sarah's wonderful Stone and Sky Lodge exceeded every expectation I just listed. It's cozy, warm, and feels like a hidden nook! The scenery and nature couldn't be more beautiful. I never got the pleasure to meet Sarah, though I wish I did. Over messages and from what my friends told me, I just know that Sarah is the most hospitable and kind host that I've talked with in a while, and I hope that next time I can thank her personally. From my friends and I, we thank you for sharing your home with us. If you think that the excellent reviews are too good to be true, don't. This IS the truth, and I can't wait to have another reason to come back to this wonderful treasure of a place.

Truly a magical place… the views are amazing. We actually frolicked in the river a bit even though it’s only April and there was small amount of snow on the ground… it was surprisingly refreshing for a feet dip… as far as the unit there was so much charm and care put into this place… we had a snack and beverage awaiting us and Carmella the cat had a snack and toy with a little pillow bed by the window and food dishes ready to use. These extra little touches are special ❤️ The inside is super cute and charming, I loved the bath tub…. I stayed 2 nights and took 3 baths 😂 after our 5 hr drive my daughter needed to use facilities but it took her a good 10 minutes because she loved every detail of the space. I hope to return in summer! Book this space if interested, I promise you will not be disappointed!

We loved Susan's apartment from the moment we walked in. As described, it is indeed a sunny place. Everything was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The beds were excellent and very comfortable. What really stood out though were the thoughtful details. The little nightlight in the bathroom with a cute nightshade, the personal reading light on the bed, the different weight blankets for different temperatures, the poems in the living room and everything we needed in the kitchen. We easily walked into Northampton for great food and coffee and it's easy to drive to Amherst. This is also the first time we visited the Flayvors of Cook Farm shop to try their handmade ice cream...and it was amazing. We'd definitely stay in Susan's place again and hope to do so!

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting UConn or the surrounding area. Keri and Jason were fabulous hosts and very responsive to my needs. Keri even anticipated needs by offering to have a fresh cup of coffee ready for me on the AM. Everything was perfect for my stay and there was definitely a comfortable feel. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

Couldn't say enough great things about both the hosts and the property. Just lovely home - very spacious, and clean and cosy. The area is gorgeous, with a lot to do. Mt. Snow and Hermitage skiing are very close, and Wilmington and the area are charming. Host was very gracious and kind..thank you!

We were in town for a family wedding and this was the perfect place for 20 or so of us to spend the weekend. Everything was great. We were so comfortable and had so much fun! Thank you to Meiling, Martin, Mayra, and all the folks who assist them with housekeeping and logistics. Hope to find an excuse to return, as everyone was sorry when our stay came to an end. Highly recommend without hesitation.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s place. It was very conveniently located to the base of Jiminy Peak, which made getting to and from the mountain very easy. The house was very well appointed and had everything we needed. We used the fireplace twice and it was super easy. Having access to the facilities at The Country Inn at Jiminy Peak was great as I am injured and can’t ski currently, so instead I went to the gym each day. My family didn’t want to leave and my kids are asking when we can go back!

We had a very nice stay for a family wedding. Sharing the house with two combined families in January and the house was great for this. There are rooms with 3-4 beds in each so if you are looking for bedroom privacy then this house probably isn’t it. That said, we are all family so was fun to bunk up! The area is beautiful and there r a great set of trails right at the end of the road for hiking, walking cross country skiiing etc. Overall, a great stay and Kimberly was very communicative with everything

My grandson and I stayed in the upstairs cottage next to the pool. The cottage itself was well equipped. My grandson is a picky eater, so we did virtually all our meals in the cottage by means of a fridge, mini freezer and microwave. We ate out twice in nearby restaurants. The grounds of FRE are beautiful and very well maintained. There are nice walks and hikes, if you are inclined. The staff is friendly and receptive. We enjoyed the pool all but 2 days because of the weather. The outside temps were mild, the pool temp very comfortable. The nearby town of Wilmington is cute, has many shops, restaurants and a few ice cream shops we tried. We happened upon their Blueberry Festival our last day with music, food, (blueberry) drinks and face painting. A very enjoyable Vermont experience all around.

We always book with Dawn! Her place is amazing. We feel right at home. She ensures the house has everything you could need in case you forget something. There are extra details to make your stay more comfortable. Her linens are softer than mine at home! There is plenty of space for my family of five to stay comfortably. I highly recommend booking here! We can’t wait until our next stay here.

Great Airbnb in Northampton. Lovely decor and thoughtful appointments. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfy. Sue is a terrific host. This is the 2nd time I've stayed in one of her Airbnbs while visiting my daughter who attends a nearby college. Free parking is a major perk as Northampton is a vibrant town with many restaurants and shops. So convenient to walk into town for a morning coffee or stroll home after dinner. Great location and neighborhood. I definitely recommend !
