We had a wonderfully relaxing week at the cottage right on the water! It was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities one needs. Our hosts were very responsive, provided a compilation of restaurants and "things to see and do" in the area - a very useful guide. We had fun exploring our surrounding areas and ate some incredible food! A fun-filled, yet relaxing time away - perfect!! We would highly recommend a stay with Cynthia and Dana! Thank you - - -

Great stay! The apartment was clean and the hosts were always very responsive and flexible. It was about a 10-15 drive to get into Bar Harbor so not too bad. WiFi was alright but did the job - wouldn’t be strong enough for a work from home situation, but strong enough for a vacation where we didn’t need it too often.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was immaculate and Ruby was super responsive and helpful. Perfect for families with the open plan. Modern and well stocked. Thank you!

This location has a lot of beauty around it. Recommend arriving during the daylight as it is very dark and so you might need a flashlight to find the keys to get in if you come after dark. Might recommend motion sensor lights to help with this but not a huge deal breaker. They describe the door entrances very well but location this place using their instructions could seem a little vague based on how other entrances looked. But my GPS took us straight there with no issues so the description was not a huge deal. We chose to stay downstairs as it had the gas stove and main shower but the beds need a little attention to their frames as they were a little squeaky when laying down or moving any slight movement. The view was amazing and we got some great pictures of the northern lights. We were not there except to mainly sleep as our trip was for business but would have enjoyed this home if we stayed in the area again. If you need several beds, check this place out.

The location was perfect! The fenced in yard was great for our 6 & 8 year old to play without us worrying about where they were. The beach is beautiful, the boys learned how to skip stones. The apartment was spacious and well furnished, and was spotless! We definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

This was a beautiful apartment to stay in, the view to the Union river, and evergreen trees was absolutely gorgeous. The apartment was clean and well designed and had lots of space. A short walk to Josie‘s country store & Café every morning for breakfast was perfect. A quick drive into downtown Ellsworth, where there are lots of restaurants, shops and pubs, then a bit further to Acadia national park, roughly a half hour drive, in April. We loved hiking in Acadia on Bar Harbor Island. What a great visit to Maine!

Derek’s place was very clean and homey! Just a quick 20-30 min drive to enjoy both bar harbor and Acadia national park. We will definitely book with Derek again if we head back up that way!

Thank you for your hospitality! Great space for a group of us to share the night before a marathon. Plenty of rooms, a spacious kitchen for making food, and multiple bathrooms for getting ready!

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!
