Billy and his wife were very welcoming. We had a cake baked for us and the apartment was very clean and homely.

First family holiday away with our 2 years old and two dogs. Loved the accommodations and views from the cabin. The hot tub was superb to wind down in the evening. Patrick gave us some great recommendations to visit a beach with was fantastic. We will 100% be coming again. Patrick was a great host. The holiday park was well kept, the pond was nice to feed the ducks and swans.

We had an absolutely perfect Easter weekend at the lodge! The space was far more spacious than the photos suggested, easily accommodating our group. The hot tub with a roof was a fantastic treat, and we spent hours relaxing there. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze, and the cosy living/dining area and bedrooms created such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The pub at the holiday park was a brilliant surprise and a huge added bonus, as we didn’t even realise it was there—what a delight! The thoughtful gift baskets upon arrival were an unexpected and lovely touch. Everything was spot-on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend!

Emma’s place is lovely exactly as described. The garden was a great bonus hot tub was wonderful. We were in Newcastle due to the Magic Weekend so we used the house as a base for 2 families. Everyone had a great time perfect place for us to get together. Communications were very good.. Thank you Emma and your family for allowing us to stay in your home.

Lovely cabin, lovely setting within a beautiful park, lovely little walk aroun the lake. Very dog friendly park which was lovey. Very nice hottub. Had everything you might need! Lots of things to do nearby if you have a car, and right next to the zoo.

What a gem of a place! The listing was exactly what was in the tin! The hosts are top-notch and have put a lot of thought and effort into their property and guests' expectations. A well thought out welcome pack for both humans and dogs. There are 7 different areas of seating around the property and grounds all with fabulous views and so you can watch the wide variety of wildlife. When we say the place was clean, it was spotless including the hot tub. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and user friendly. Plenty of books, DVD's, games, puzzles, maps and toiletries. Well recommended.

An excellent, clean property well located for our visit to the Northumberland coast. The site itself was very clean and safe for our grandchildren to play. Vickie was a responsive host who was always quick to answer our questions. The only drawback was poor WiFi and issues with connecting to 4G at times. However this did not spoil our stay one bit. Joanne's place had everything we needed for our 10 days in Newcastle. A bright and carefully planned space, close to some beautiful walks and excellent amenities, this little pied a terre was a home away from home. We enjoyed walking into Newcastle every day along leafy paths and quiet streets, then coming back to our quiet and cosy nook of Jesmond. Joanne was always happy to help with recommendations and advice. The room was immaculate with some really thoughtful details and we were made to feel very welcome.

The flat was warm and cosy on arrival and remained so despite the January weather. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. The front windows caught the winter sun all day, with great views over the Tyne. It was comfortable, relaxing and quiet, just what was needed. The location is excellent for all the village amenities and for the metro station, perfect for trips out to the wider Tyneside area with its wide variety of interesting places. The acid test is whether we'd go again - the answer is a resounding yes.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. Lynne is an excellent host and the place is very nicely decorated. We did a country walk nearby as there are lots of footpaths and we came across great views of the surroundings and local bird life. All in all another excellent trip. We highly recommend!

Great little cottage in a beautiful village. We knew the place well already. It's a short stroll to a couple of great pubs and restaurants. The place itself was warm, cosy, and quiet. Comfy beds. Would definitely book again.

Lovely cosy quiet cottage with good garden space to sit out and for dogs to play . Fabulous location minutes from the beach . Spotlessly clean , comfy bed , good shower , and the tea, coffee , milk etc on arrival a thoughtful touch . Alison was a lovely host , friendly and helpful .

Spacious and comfortable cottage ideal for a couple in a pretty village by the moors. We enjoyed visiting the surroundings including the city of Durham and Beamish Open Air Museum as well as castles and countryside. On street parking was no problem as we always parked in front of the cottage.

What a lovely apartment to stay in Durham! Chris was so nice to meet me there and show me everything with the apartment. The apartment is all new, very comfortable, with a beautiful peaceful setting on the river! He even bought me some food to get me through the mornings. It was so conveniently located to the town. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!

My work colleague and I needed a place for 4 weeks of work in Newcastle, and Thomas’ place was perfect. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen, with a dining table, lots of space upstairs, effectively we had a floor and bathroom each. The centre of town is only a 20 mins walk. Thomas was a superb host. We were staying up there for my Sons wedding , then we stayed on a little over Christmas to see the children . The Ubers are amazing and I just downloaded the app ‘Uber eats ‘ as well and they can do a shop for you from the Coop ,Sainsbury’s and Tesco and more . Uber travel was very good and reasonable . Area of house is great for Newcastle , Durham or Bernard castle area . Rooms are a good size , beds comfortable. Walking for elderly parents was nice and they increased their fitness immensely , as the fresh air has helped them along with the trips to the countryside which is all around . Very Clean throughout . Comfy sofa and large chair. Great for a family . Garden is enclosed and very safe . Rachel has been a very kind host , and fast to respond to any querys , I would recommend the area and the home , the locals are friendly and there’s a Tesco express which has a bit of everything , in walking distance .
