amazing place, couldn't ask for a better location, host and facilities

Great value for a lovely quiet retreat for the weekend, easy to get around the North Cornish coast from the location. Accomodation was spotless and very comfortable, would happily stay again as it offered all we need.

this is about our 4th stay over the years at this cottage. love the location (it's so quiet) and set up is really comfortable. Will definitely be back again

Have stayed here many times now, it’s like a home away from home! Wonderfully relaxing and peaceful. I was lucky enough to see some Highland cattle babies on the farm this visit. Booking again soon!

Our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time. A home away from home! The cottage is lovely, cosy, and clean with plenty of space as a family of 6 and a dog. Giles was really helpful and we loved all the local recommendations and walks. The location is perfect. Can’t wait to return next year!

We had a lovely stay at Little Barn with myself, my sister, and our mum. The barn was fully equipped with everything we needed, and Mary and her husband were incredibly accommodating. It's in a great location in Porth—peaceful yet close to everything. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

Very welcoming hosts, beautiful cottage, very clean, very pretty wisteria over the entrance. Very relaxing place to stay and beautiful area. Great sandy beach with cafe. (walkable). Super village shop in Mawnam-Smith. Great place for exploring gardens and places of interest.

We had a lovely stay at the Barn. Steve and Tessa were great hosts and it was nice to meet the family pets too! The Barn was warm, comfortable and well equipped for our stay. It was in a superb location and we enjoyed being able to walk straight out on to the moors. Thanks for having us!

We wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely cottage and pretty country location. The garden was ideal for a dog as it was safely fenced around. My dog was incredibly happy sniffing around the area when we were outside sitting at the garden table. We didn't have time to use the Jacuzzi although it looked very inviting. Would recommend to other dog owners or walkers alike!

Great little getaway home. The place was lovely and fitted what we needed perfectly. The host was quick at responding to any questions we had and gave us lots of goodies on arrival. Would highly recommend this place.

Trish and Paul were such great hosts. Hugely helpful and responsive and such lovely touches. Fresh flower on arrival and a gorgeous hand painted card. Great instructions to get into the place and lovely suggestions for enjoying the surroundings. The animals on site were such a joy to get involved with and Paul was so kind to let us collect eggs and feed the chickens, goats and alpacas. Would definitely recommend this tranquil spot. Thank you so much for having us, we will be back for sure x

We stayed for two nights while in the area for a friend’s wedding and absolutely loved this beautiful cottage. It’s full of character, with gorgeous natural light, a cosy feel, thoughtful styling, and high-quality fittings throughout. The bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchen were both beautifully renovated and well-equipped with everything you could need. Laura was very welcoming - she met us on arrival, left some delicious local produce for us, and shared great recommendations for places to eat nearby (breakfast at The Old Dairy was a highlight!). Our stay was peaceful and relaxing, and we’d definitely love to come back. Thank you very much, Laura!

Great love and care has been taken with this converted cottage. Everything is 5* accommodation is immaculate, but still homely and the attention to detail amazing, from slippers and robes for the hot tub and milk, butter, tea bags and a delicious lemon cake !! Absolutely magical place. we loved our stay at The Barn. it was just what we needed. Peaceful and beautiful. Liz was so friendly and helpful, she met us on arrival and was on hand if needed. We walked into Boscastle from the accommodation through woods and along the river, such a beautiful route. The accommodation is pure luxury and felt so peaceful and relaxing. It was also great for our dog who enjoyed the enclosed paddock to have a run around in. After busy days exploring we were all happy to come back and chill at The Barn. Thanks Liz and Robert. I am sure we will be back!

Had a lovely stay with friends in Wendale. The accommodation was pristine and had everything we needed for the weekend. Hostess was friendly and helpful and the surroundings were beautiful. Had a wonderful walk over the Cliffs in Cheddar.

A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

We loved staying at Greenlands Barn. the cottage was beautifully laid out and was warm and comfortable, Sarah made sure we had everything we needed. We used it as a base to enjoy the local area and to go on the West Somerset Steam railway. We saw a kingfisher and enjoyed a beautiful paddle up the river in the canoe. This Air b n b is highly recommended and other family members are interested in booking. Thank you Sarah

A lovely little place to stay for a couple of nights - nothing really to do in the area so more for if you’re wanting to get away from it all. Very well equipped and clean. Excellent host, really friendly and great communication. Would definitely stay again if we were to travel back to the area. We were staying for a wedding at treetop escapes - very close to the venue

My stay at Frances’ was absolutely lovely- she made us feel very welcome from the offset! The place is very charming and homely- I’ll be back for sure if I return to this neck of the woods!

We had a fantastic stay at Dawn’s place. Extremely clean and well equipped. Dawn was hugely helpful and very responsive to all our questions and requests. It was a perfect place to stay, lovely and quiet, secluded and yet very close to the shops and the motorway. Seeing the horses and lambs each day was lovely, with the added bonus of a woodpecker too.

We had a great 4 night stay at Acorn Barn. What an amazing place this is a lovely old stable converted to a cosy little living space, extremely comfy bed and well equipped kitchenette. Having washing / drying facilities was a bonus situated externally to the main space. Parking is straight outside, which was really useful. Well located to explore all of Cornwall , nowhere more than an hours drive away. Some very welcome touches such as biscuits and chocolate was a lovely surprise on arrival. Our host Samantha was extremely helpful and welcoming and provided us some food to allow us to feed the resident hens. There are also some geese and a horse on the grounds, which, have the most amazing views of the Cornish countryside, watching the sun set and rise is amazing , we even heard the owls hooting in the evening. The train line runs in the distance which is also fascinating to watch as they trundle by. All in all a very peaceful place, great surroundings, looking to return soon.

Super stay at this lovely cottage. Great upstairs /downstairs layout with huge space upstairs for socialising. Had everything we needed for a super easy stay for 4 adults and 2 dogs and kitchen was well stocked for cooking at home and enjoying the space. Enjoyed not being hit with a long list of house rules, super relaxed hosts and very dog friendly. Would definitely stay again as great area for exploring Devon.

The Barn is an outstanding property. The care and attention given to every aspect of it ensures you have a wonderful stay. So much thought has gone into making it a welcoming and inviting place to stay. Loved it!
