A very peaceful and quiet retreat in a lovely part of the North East. It was so quiet and relaxing spending time in the hot tub and inside the cottage. Although this is no fault of Rachael's and/or the cottage please be wary that if you're over 6 foot you will be ducking a lot! I banged my head twice coming out of the bathroom when going during the night and still half asleep (again, this is nothing against the host or the location - just a pre-warning!)

I absolutely loved our stay at Barnacre Alpacas, we stayed in the rose cottage, it was very clean and the hot tub was a bonus. We enjoyed the alpaca walk and talk, that was something I’ll never forget! On arrival the cottage was dressed up for a birthday surprise and champagne and chocolates was left for us. Thank you to Paul and Debbie, we will be back!

Loved our two night stay in Stanley Cottage. Great parking to rear of the cottage. Lovely wee touches like, bread, prosecco, milk, orange juice and biscuits. Ben was great and will return when back down in that area.

Angela’s place was fabulous, we have young children and Angela went above and beyond to make our stay great, would definitely recommend to others, Angela is a wonderful host! The cottage is also very well equipped and clean!

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

Lovely spacious, clean house with beautiful garden and excellent facilities. As 2 families of 4 this house was more than ample and well supplied with everything we needed. We made good use of the hot tub and large garden. It’s located just off the A1 but noise was minimal. There isn’t much in the way of walkable facilities but we did travel 5 mins to a nearby pub by car for a meal which was lovely. It’s a good location for visiting nearby beaches and we also went to Cragside which our children enjoyed. Thanks for a lovely getaway Anna!

We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and well presented. Location is great enough out of the way to relax but close enough to lots of different things to do to keep the kids busy. Well equipped with everything you could need to make the stay easy and comfortable.

We had a great time at Clare’s lovely cottage with our dog. Clare’s communication since the moment we booked was great and she was very helpful. The check in process was really easy and simple. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the welcome hamper with lovely fresh bread, A delicious lemon drizzle cake, wine and bacon was a lovely touch. The location of the cottage is excellent, a stones throw away from the local pub which serves lovely meals, The beach is a nice 20 minute or so walk away and is excellent if you have a dog. Overall really pleased with the stay and will definetly be returning.

The cottage was wonderful. A charming stay in the lovely town of Amble. We explored lots and Diane’s recommendations were excellent!

Outstanding cottage, would love to come back soon! The photos don’t do it justice! It’s even better when you’re there. Spotlessly clean, beautiful kitchen/dining room and comfortable bed. The views from the back garden were fab! I can’t recommend this enough, would have happily stayed there longer and will definitely return. It was a lovely gesture that Kate even baked for us!! First time I have used AirBB and I was really pleased I did. Jane's place is absolutely fab. The location is great for the town centre and the harbour. Had great food all three nights. Went out in the car to various locations and castles in the area and went walking. The cottage was exactly as described and was clean and tidy. Will be going later on in year or definately next year. Thank Ypo Jane for letting me stay in your loverly cottage.

Had a lovely stay here. Great location in the centre of the village but still peaceful. The house had everything we needed. Very friendly staff on the hotel reception. We would love to come back.

My third stay at Nicks place was brilliant. Looking forward to going again soon.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. Very relaxing break in a lovely home. The area is quiet and peaceful. Lovely walk along the promenade to cafe needles eye (definitely worth a visit!)

An absolute gem of a cottage in a beautiful place. Loved the cottage so much - felt so homely and was a perfect place to venture off into the surrounding areas.

Priory Cottage was beautifully presented, with everything we needed for our stay. It was lovely to have a welcome basket as well as tea, coffee, sugar, condiments and cleaning items which is not the case at every property we've stayed at. The place was warm and cozy with a great bathroom and comfortable bed. Mark and Emma were both very friendly and welcoming when we met them and recommended a lot of places to visit which was great as we hadn't been to the area before. We had a lovely week in Northumberland and will definitely be coming back.

Windmill cottage is a lovely home from home. Everything that we needed for our stay was provided, including a welcome basket for us and our dog. The cottage is very roomy and our host, Claire, was very friendly and responsive. It’s location is great for accessing all of the Northumberland coastline and we enjoyed wonderful days out exploring the area. We would highly recommend Windmill Cottage and we hope to return. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy parking outside the house. The house is beautifully decorated, every thin you could need is supplied. Beds very comfortable and nice clean fresh bed linen and towels. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower. All in all a lovely home, close to beach and easy access to other places of interest. Would recommend staying there
