I am a Mom of two (a tween and an infant), who since 2020, has made mini solo staycations apart of my self-care routine. When looking for the perfect Airbnb, I look for great aesthetics, quiet & serene surroundings, a comfy bed and a modern spa like bathroom, all in a safe area. Elsa’s checks all those boxes and more. I booked 4 nights. The area is VERY peaceful, safe, clean, and family friendly. Elsa’s and her family live on the premises but you can barely hear them. Elsa and her husband are so sweet and accommodating. They made a couple quick adjustments and quickly responded to my messages. Elsa even provided an aroma candle to use during my stay. Lots of outlets. There really is everything you could need here. Easy check in. Great stores and restaurants near by and more. Bonus: there’s an African American historical site called The Skinny House one block over, that’s so cute but for site seeing only. No tours. I fully enjoyed my stay and recommend Elsa’s home.

Extremely friendly and comfortable

Joseph's airbnb is lovely and peaceful! Made a trip up for the Isles vs Caps game, some hiking, and catch up with old friends. The backyard was nice to relax in! My pup, is usually shy with his business, but loved the fenced in backyard. The couch & bed were so comfortable. All amenities listed were there. The small items you would normally forget are graciously stocked. I would highly reccomend considering staying as a guest. I hope, when I am able to drive the 8hrs back up, Joseph has his airbnb listed. Thank you, Joseph for a perfect and comfy place for the 2 humans and pup to rest inbetween our outings.

The beautiful apartment Damian offers is a fabulous alternative to a hotel stay. It's immaculate and very well maintained. Having a full, working kitchen was a major plus factor. Although there are many wonderful restaurants throughout Long Island, it was great to be able to prepare breakfast daily and enjoy a meal or two in. We felt extremely comfortable and right at home. Communication with Damian was exceptional and nice that we developed a friendly rapport via email/app chats. The beautiful apartment met and exceeded expectations.

I stayed the night at Karen’s while in town for a work event. It was a quick stay but very comfortable. The place was very private and quiet and I felt safe and comfortable in the neighborhood. There were plenty of places near by for food and just about anything you could need. I would definitely love to stay again if I’m back in town.

Wonderful host and a warm, cozy apartment.

We were there for a funeral. One family member came in from Hawaii, one from Washinton, and one from Califirnia. The apartment was cozy, well-appointed, and literally a block from the beach. The nearby grocery store and eateries was helpful. Would we stay there again? Absolutely.

Hands down Angela was the best host that I’ve booked with on Airbnb. My family and I traveled from North Carolina and felt very safe, comfortable and welcomed. Her place looks just like the pictures. Great location, peaceful area, in walking distance to everything and not far from the airport at all. Angela was very responsive and replies back immediately after messaging even during the middle of the night. I will definitely be booking with her again and I highly recommend her place

Ya and Diego are considerate and welcoming hosts. Their place is exactly as described/seen - spacious, comfortable (incl. beds), well equipped for short/longer stays. Quiet house (upper two floors with full privacy) in peaceful, pretty neighborhood (tulips, cherry & apple trees in bloom when we stayed there) of town with history dating back to 17th-century evident. Good grocery store and restaurants nearby/walkable. Reasonably close to wide range of activities (walks, LI Sound, the City - by car or train). Hosts and place deserve their consistently high ratings. I fully recommend them and would consider returning, if back in the area.

This was our second time staying at this home, and just like the first time, everything was perfect. The place is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It suits my family, who visit me every year from abroad, perfectly. The location is convenient, the neighborhood is quiet, and the hosts are absolutely lovely—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We truly feel at home here and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Wonderful AirBnB with all the comforts of home, exceptionally clean, and nicely decorated and maintained. A little worried about this secret getting out because I want it to be available my next visit! Elizabeth was a pleasure to communicate with and very responsive.

After living in Brooklyn NY for over 22 years, I move to Orlando FL. I never got use to the noise, the crowds, the tight spaces, the stress of parking etc. But this place negates all of the above. We drove from FL for a family funeral service and upon arriving we felt the comfortability of this home, which was needed. This place was absolutely clean. This place is great for families and couples Not to far from Manhattan and family members. Lots of great restaurants available within a short 5 minute drive. Our family had a fabulous stay. Our host was quick with their communications. They brought a vacuum upon request. Check-in was very simple. Amazing game room that the children enjoyed. All beds was very comfortable. I was overly impressed how comfortable the pullout sofa bed was on the main level. The bathrooms was perfect size and modern. We'll recommend to anyone looking for that peace and coziness. Thank You Jenny & Gabriel for making our stay a memorable one.

It was nothing short of amazing. My mother and some family were in town for a family event and there was a problem with other airbnb causing cancellations. Mikail was able to accommodate us within a hour. It was beautiful and the stay was short but cute. Wonderful conversation. Thank you again.

Usufruímos deste apartamento em família, num grupo de 6 adultos. A nossa estadia foi perfeita, apartamento espaçoso, agradavelmente decorado com cozinha bem equipada, qualidade e totalmente funcional. O terraço tem uma excelente vista panorâmica, sendo que o clima não nos permitiu a sua utilização. Conforto e limpeza 5 estrelas. Foi uma ótima base para explorarmos NYC, encontrando aqui um refúgio calmo para o necessário descanso e convívio familiar. Fácil acessibilidade por transporte público. No nosso caso Uber/Lyft que em 10 minutos nos colocavam na estação de Hoboken. Sem dúvida que voltaremos a considerar esta opção numa futura visita.

Ken's apartment is tastefully decorated with very good quality fittings and appliances. It is perfectly located to explore Manhattan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ric and Úna

We had a great stay! The unit is a perfect size for a couple and has been recently updated. We were comfortable and felt right at home. Perfect for access to the PATH and everything Hoboken has to offer!

The location of AJ's apartment could not have been better, near transportation & night life but also set back so it was very quiet and peaceful at night. Very charming and cozy apartment! Would recommend to any staying in Hoboken or looking to stay very close to NYC.

This was our first time as a family taking a NYC trip. Staying right in the city was extremely expensive so we considered being on the other side of the river. It worked out well. Olga’s son Hirian helped us as Olga was in FL. Hirian could not have been more friendly and helpful. Apartment is as described and had plenty of room for all of us. The 2 bathrooms really made a difference with 3 kids and all of needing to shower after a long day in the city. Apartment is right on the bus route for the city. Hirian is always available for any questions. Only X factor is parking but there a lot close by. You just need to keep paying on the app. If you are looking for a great place to stay this is a great choice!

Our stay at The Home Away was nothing short of fantastic. On arrival, we had the pleasure of meeting Ricardo, who gave us a bunch of local recommendations as well as how to get into the city, etc. Our hosts were wonderful and really made us feel welcome as it was our first time visiting New York. The apartment itself is amazing, very clean and spacious, with some of the best views of the New York skyline you're likely to find. The area felt very peaceful and safe, far enough out of the hustle and bustle of the city while still feeling very connected to it. The location was incredibly convenient; the bus stop just outside the apartment has very frequent services that get you into Manhattan in less than 15 minutes. There is also a ferry port within walking distance that runs over to Manhattan every 20 minutes. There were plenty of shops and restaurants around the apartment, so you don't need to venture too far. Overall, our stay was 10/10 and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in NYC.

Hoboken est un quartier très agréable et accessible depuis NY. Nous avons adoré l’environnement, l’ambiance et la magnifique vue sur Manhattan depuis la Corniche. L’appartement est très agréable, très joliment aménagé et décoré. Une découverte de NY dans les meilleures conditions. Merci !
