This was by far the best stay experience I had. Adarsh and his cousin Srinidhi were extremely helpful and responsive. The property is a slice of heaven with its beautiful gardens and wide open spaces. The food served was so tasty and delicious. Felt like my grandmother‘s village home.

Nestled in a forested zone yet close to the city, it offers the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience. The host, Sachin, and caretaker, Prakasha, were attentive from the start, making the experience smooth for us. The property is gorgeous, the food is homemade and delicious, and the atmosphere? Serene. Each morning, we woke to birdsong you don’t hear in the city. One day, I even spotted two peacocks right outside the balcony—until they vanished into the woods the moment they saw me! If you’re considering booking, take this as your sign. Livingston Homestay is where nature, comfort, and hospitality come together seamlessly. This place is totally worth it if you actually want to stay away from the crowd. The place is at the very heart of the forest. The host Abhishek is really helpful and even adaptable with check in and check out timing. He guided us with the direction to the Airbnb and also made sure that any requests made by the guest are accepted. If you are making a booking to this Airbnb, I highly recommend you to contact Abhishek and let him know that you are going to have the dinner and breakfast at the location itself because I don't want you guys to miss the amazing food prepared by Venkatesh. Please make sure to inform in advance the veg and non veg counts. Care takers Nithin and Santosh also helped us by providing extra comforters and towels for our room. Overall this is a pretty amazing Airbnb wrt the location food vibe and people.

Visited this place as a short weekend getaway. First off this place is exactly what it seems like, and it’s even better in person. It’s off beat, serene and super quiet. Good visit for anyone who wants to escape the city’s hustle for a while. Karthik has been an incredible host. He is very friendly and accommodating. We had several changes in plans during our stay here, but this was never an issue. Karthik helped us get the most out of our stay here and made sure we had the best experience. He also made us try some local festival dishes during our stay and helped with travel / food recommendations nearby. The property was well maintained and had all amenities one would expect despite being in an isolated location which makes it super convenient. Definitely planning on visiting again for a longer duration. 10 / 10 experience

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farm! The place was easy to find, and Narthan was extremely helpful and proactive, ensuring we had a smooth experience. The staff was very friendly, and special thanks to Gopi, the cook, who made our stay even more memorable. The food he prepared was absolutely delicious—we didn’t feel the need to step out in search of food at all! The combination of great food, serene ambience, and a comfortable stay on the farm made for a perfect getaway. The friendly hosts and their adorable pets added to the charm of the place. A special shoutout to Narthan for accommodating some special requests for our toddler, making our stay even more comfortable. Our little one had an amazing time, and so did we! This is truly a fantastic family-friendly destination, and we would love to visit again. Highly recommended!

Shruthi was extremely responsive and prompt in helping. The place was well maintained and had all the amenities. It had a clear view of mountain ranges as well. It was located nearby city and easily accessible. I would recommend this place for family and friends.

Spencer house was a nice surprise! Located in a calm neighbourhood but close to town centre markets and eateries. Coming to the house, it’s a lovely old building maintained to high standards of cleanliness. The building has an old world charm and has a certain character. We traveled with our parents and families , all of us were reminiscing grandpa’s bungalow! The balcony near kitchen is great place to hang out in the evenings Gowri is super responsive, provides clear communication , and had provided guidance on local sightseeing and food options. Check in was smooth with the care taker. Couple of points to note , the house is on first floor with 3 large size bedrooms with attached toilets and kitchen , balconies; the stair to first floor is bit steep , so for elderly people it may be bit difficult . The kitchen is well equipped but only with an induction cooker. So it’s good for light preparations Overall had a great time and would recommend the place in Chikkamagalur.

It was a great stay! The cottage was extremely cozy, comfortable and equipped with all necessities. The dachshunds in the property were an added charm and gave us company in our morning walks. Aunty servered us amazing breakfast throughout our stay. Will definitely be coming back.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at treedom, and it was a great experience. Tucked away in the middle of a forest, the property offers absolute peace and privacy—there's no sign of civilization for miles, only the sounds of nature, from birds chirping to the rustling of leaves in the wind. This tree house is not for those seeking luxury resorts, but rather for anyone looking to truly disconnect and experience the luxury of nature. There are no restaurants or shops nearby, but the tree house itself is equipped with a beautifully rustic and well-maintained kitchen. The real highlight of our stay was our host Krish and his delightful dog, Foxy. Krish was not only friendly and welcoming, but he also took the time to show us around some beautiful nearby spots. Foxy, was a wonderful companion on our little explorations. If you're looking for an escape into nature with a perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and warmth, this tree house is an absolute gem.

The property is absolutely stunning. Quiet, with just birds chirping and the sound of a flowing stream in the distance. In the evenings and night, you hear the wind. Rooms are nice, cozy and have an old world charm, gazebo is a definite ++ and there is a fire pit too to warm you when it's chilly. Food is absolutely great. The dosas are the best we have had ever. Beautifully aromatic, one of a kind! Other food that we ordered was great too, good portions and taste! There are quite a few things to do around - one can hike, go to viewpoints, go on a temple run, ride their bikes or just be lost in estate wilderness and walking trails. For us, the biggest value of the place was nature in its full glory without the hazards and distractions of the modern world. Beautiful, and we would very much like to be back! P.s. bring your doggos! They will love it! Ours just wanted to sun bathe or go for nature walks!

Homestay inside a huge coffee plantation estate.. the bunglow is also gigantic with plenty of common sitting area, huge balcony and 3 big bedrooms. Food was excellent with great malnad cuisine and extensive options. extremely peaceful, would love to recommend. Since part of the huge estate, so no other shops or restaurant nearby. And having a vehicle is mandatory

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! I booked this place for family stay and it turned out exactly as per my expectations. This is beautiful apartment with an amazing view. Got safe place for parking. Host connected us to the caretaker who was always responsive. You have good restaurants in 2-3 kms range with few eateries nearby by. Very peaceful and my family really enjoyed the stay. A definite recommendation.

Wonderful stay! The apartment was spotless, spacious and exactly as described. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Kalaseshwara temple. Our host Arun and family live next door and were very responsive. He also helped us with the Horanadu temple visit. Overall, a fantastic experience -- would definitely stay again!

The Bright House Home-stay

We stayed one night in the Bright house. It’s not a fancy place. But if you enjoy a rustic villa all to yourself …. This is a right place. The house has all the basic amenities and the property including the surrounding garden / external area is immaculately kept . In addition, if you like bird watching, you would love this place. The host’s family lives in a separate house in the same compound. The host, Bhagawan, doesn’t live here but he was always in touch (remotely) and was extremely helpful. The best part of this place is his mother. She is a charming lady and an excellent cook. We loved her local cuisine. Unfortunately, she speaks only Kannada which i couldn’t speak. But we managed the communication through our driver. The only con part of this place that we felt is that the rooms were relatively smaller in size. We were only 3 people and this didn’t bother us. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet break around Sakleshpur, this place is highly recommended.
