We had a great stay in the house. Our group was 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and it was the perfect size for us all. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was very peaceful and so quiet at night we all got great sleep. We visited Bude, Clovelly and Widemouth over our 4 day stay and it was perfectly located for them. Roger provided all the information we needed beforehand with guides to everything we could possibly need. He also responded to messages straightaway. The hot tub was a nice bonus and easy to use. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden. I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay, I would definitely love to return.

An absolutely amazingly beautiful little cottage with very peaceful surroundings! Mark and Tracey were perfect, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay for our mini moon! Mark the food was delicious and there was plenty of it! Mark lit a BBQ for us one night and when we went up he had laid plates of spices and herb butter! The cottage was clean and cosy! Plenty of fresh towels and the kitchen had everything we needed! We are so glad we picked you guys for a memorable stay! We will see you at Glasto in June xx

We’ve just spent a wonderful four nights here, absolutely loved it. Helen is a wonderful host, property was exactly as described, warm and cosy, lovely homely feel. Big bonus with this property is the free onsite parking, a rarity in Polperro. The walk back up from the village is a bit slower, but is how it’s described in the listing. We preferred to go to & fro the village via Brackenside lane (follow google maps) which continues onto a pretty woodland path and down a long flight of steps coming out near the ice cream shop. The ice cream shop is amazing! Beautiful lunch at The Three Pilchards and the views from the roof terrace eating area are spectacular. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

We loved our stay in the cottage! It was so calm and peaceful. Peter had thought of everything and there was so many lovely little touches that just made it for us. We couldn’t recommend this place enough for a romantic retreat away!

We loved our stay at Miranda’s place! It was clean, the views were stunning & she was extremely responsive and helpful. Thankful for this wonderful spot for some time with family!

This is a lovely Airbnb. We stayed for five days, and had torrential rain for the first few — which we spent snuggled up on the sofas, enjoying the fire and underfloor heating, and making the most of the fully equipped kitchen with incredibly fresh produce from the local farm shops. On the sunny, clearer days, we caught a couple of gorgeous sunsets from the hot tub and even had a go at a bit of stargazing with the telescope provided. The barn is beautifully converted; the way it lets the light in is just something else! Our dog also loved having a garden to run around in and enjoyed meeting the neighbouring cows.

Great love and care has been taken with this converted cottage. Everything is 5* accommodation is immaculate, but still homely and the attention to detail amazing, from slippers and robes for the hot tub and milk, butter, tea bags and a delicious lemon cake !! A beautifully kept cottage with plenty to do within walking distance, friendly locals, and an unlimited amount of nature to explore. Ceri and Daniel are great hosts, and clearly care about their guests! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, would highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful! Both the communication beforehand and during our stay was excellent—friendly, swift, and incredibly helpful. The accommodation itself is unbelievably charming and cosy, nestled right in the heart of a picturesque little village. It’s only a few minutes' drive from Bude and the sea! We had the most wonderful Christmas stay at this lovely cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious layout and how well equipped everything was. The cottage had all the amenities we needed to make our holiday special, from a good-sized kitchen to comfortable living spaces. Located in a quiet area just a stone's throw from the beach and cliffs, it offered us the perfect blend of relaxation and stunning views. Our host was incredibly responsive and made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or simply checking in to see if we needed anything, their hospitality was outstanding. This cottage is ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the festive season in a beautiful setting. We can’t recommend it enough and are already hoping to return soon!

A lovely quiet place to stay. Lilac cottage is charming and clean, with very comfortable beds. The private garden to the cottage is a nice feature. The shared swimming pool was beautifully warm. The location of Court Farm suited us very well - a rural feel but a relatively short drive to Bude town centre and its beaches, or to Widemouth Bay coastline. We didn't go in but the pub opposite Court Farm was lively on the Friday night of our arrival (live music). It was, however, very quiet throughout the rest of our 5 night stay. Excellent communication all the way through from Court Farm Holidays!

Crackington Haven beach is my favourite place. I keep coming back, year after year. Mineshop itself is nestled in a peaceful valley within walking distance of the beach. The cottage we stayed in this time is fairly compact and simple, but comfortable all the same. Checking in and out was easy, and they're friendly, too. Highly recommend.

Spotlessly clean hideaway. So peaceful yet minutes walk from the centre of Dawlish. Completely safe walled garden for the dogs. Train station 5min away, great coastal scenery in all directions. Nice walk to Dawlish Warren and plenty of places to eat and drink. 3 generations and suited us all. Would highly recommend.

Sally was a great host - the cottage was as described, clean and tidy, and perfectly peaceful, really off the beaten track. However, there was good access to to the local North Cornwall coast, and we spent a lot of time at nearby Bude which has fab beaches. The location is perfect if you are looking for a secluded getaway, and the hot tub an excellent way to spend an afternoon. Sally was responsive, helpful and very knowledgeable! She even left a lovely easter egg hunt around the cottage for our children - thank you, Sally!

Das Wuggle Cottage war ein bezaubernder Rückzugsort. Es strahlte eine Gemütlichkeit aus, die man selten findet. Der Kamin im Wohnzimmer machte die Abende perfekt und hielt uns an zwei Tagen angenehm warm. Es war die perfekte Mischung aus traditionellem Charme und heimeliger Atmosphäre. 🌲🔥

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

As a group of four we had an excellent stay at Briardene. The cottage had plenty of space and was extremely well equipped and very clean and stylish. The hot tub was lovely and the quiet nights enabled a good night's sleep. There were two parking spaces which was great as the village is small with narrow roads. The village pub was warm and welcoming and the food was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A really cosy and comfortable cottage in a beautiful location in east Devon. Was very simple to get to Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton, and there was also lovely areas to walk arouns right by the cottage. Cottage nicely spacious and had everything we needed.
