Shirley a vraiment été une super hôte! Elle avait partie un petit feu de foyer pour nous avant que l’on arrivent. Elle nous a laissé des condiments, café et bouteille de vin 😇quelle belle attention! Marc’s place checked off all our boxes for a wonderful weekend getaway celebrating my 30th birthday. Space was big enough for our 10 guests to comfortably sleep. Large dining room table to sit all of us for meals. Enough space in the backyard to play games and plenty of seating available. Fire pit was our favourite part with plenty of firewood to use! Marc was responsive to my messages and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Could not recommend this place more!

Great private place that offers everything you want for a weekend getaway! Host was very helpful and responded within minutes to all our questions. Highly recommended!

Candice's place on Black lake is great. Very quiet but close to both Perth and Westport if you need to go shopping or want to go out for a meal. You are a few steps away from the lake so ice fishing/fishing was easy and convenient. The place itself has everything you need and is nicely laid out. The rocking chairs in the middle of the cottage look out onto the lake through the huge windows and is a great place to just sit and relax. I expected the wifi to not be the greatest since this is cottage country but it was fast and more reliable than my wifi at home. Overall, a great place and my wife, daughter and I had a great mini vacation to start March break.

nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances d'hiver chez Alex. un beau petit chalet chaleureux nicher dans une belle montagne en forêt. avec toutes les petites commodités nécessaires avec un ado de 17 ans. une vue splendide face au lac. plusieurs cafés ont été pris assis dans le sofa à contempler un vue superbe. un hôte et hôtesse très réactifs et patients face à nos questions ou demandes. ( pas très habitué aux serrures intelligentes). nos hôtes se sont assurés que notre arrivée, notre séjour et notre départ soit à la hauteur et même au-delà de nos attentes. ils nous ont traité comme des rois. vous cherchez un endroit pour vous évader de la grande ville, fuir le bruit et les tracas du quotidien chez Alex vous ne serez pas déçu ! je le recommande haut la main. nous pensons très fort à y retourner cet été pour décompresser mais surtout voir la vue du lac l'été. un gros merci pour cette semaine de relâche Natacha, Jocelyn et Jonathan

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

We absolutely loved staying here with my family, my parents and my brother, it was so spacious and the best stocked Air BNB I’ve ever stayed at in terms of kitchen utensils and activities to do. We used the sauna, jumping into the still freezing lake to cool off, the hot tub and got out onto the water using the kayaks and canoe. There were life jackets in assorted sizes, water guns for the kids. The space is amazing for entertaining, visiting from abroad, we used our stay to host and catch up with aunts and uncles and cousins I haven’t seen in many many years and everyone enjoyed the day so much. Our kids made great memories as their first time being “up north”. Would absolutely stay again the next time we visit Canada.

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

The host gave very clear instructions for check-in and was very responsive across the whole process. The Airbnb was incredibly charming and clean, I felt comfortable in the suite, the bed itself is also very comfortable. It is also close to downtown Brockville with lots to eat and see, so you will have the chance to keep yourself busy! I absolutely loved staying here, and I think anyone else would too, I 100% recommend this Airbnb as somewhere to stay!

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

Sam was a great host and quick to respond to our questions. It was a great location with walkable food and shopping. I would stay there again and recommend it to others travelling there.

Angel's place was the perfect home base for exploring Calabogie. The airbnb matched the description perfectly and I felt right at home. Angel had even gone out of her way to loan me a vest because she knew that I would be hiking during hunting season - such a thoughtful touch!

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

Katie's cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for us all, and before and throughout the stay she was communicative and helpful. We were a group of 6 adults and we felt extremely comfortable with the amenities and amount of space available, as well as the beautiful lakeview. Katie was also kind enough to leave us with ample cooking supplies and even a s'mores kit and a bottle of sparkling wine! The cottage itself was very cozy and did not feel cramped or aged at all. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and we're bookmarking her place to reserve another trip in the near future!

This property is a piece of heaven. I loved everything about this place. The interior of the home, the lake views from the bedroom, bathroom and the living room were breathtaking. kids loved the large backyard and the beach area and especially enjoyed the fire pit and the kayaks. And as a fitness freak I can't say enough about the sauna and the lake views from it. 100% recommended

The property was beautiful and offered great gathering places for our family and wonderful cottages to spend some quiet time. The lake is pretty quiet and offered nice boating/kayaking and shallows that were perfect swimming for our kids. The cottages were outfitted with everything you need and were thoughtfully organized and designed. Mark and Angie were awesome, friendly, and helpful. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. We hope to return next summer!

Stayed in early spring. Lots of books, games, movies to entertain. Internet was fast and reliable. Wood stove kept the cottage cozy. To cold to swim etc. Parents with small children be aware the path to the lake is steep with no railing. Overall loved the stay. Planning another in the fall.

Amazing 3-day stay! Perfect, peaceful view with a quiet environment. The lake is beautiful with clean water. The house is in great condition and well-equipped - we enjoyed cooking there. The owners are very nice. Everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend!

Took my kids and our puppy for a relaxing and peaceful Easter getaway. We also had family over for dinner. The house was very comfortable for hosting. The main living area is very spacious, with a big beautiful kitchen and large dining area (table doubles as a pool table!) overlooking a gorgeous view of the lake. Lots of space in the bedrooms as well. My kids loved all of the games that were available! The water was too cold for swimming but my kids did take the kayaks for a spin. The water along the shore is very shallow and mostly calm. We did notice that the sandy beach shown in the photos was covered by a steep concrete boat ramp, so a little extra care would be needed to enter the water there. It’s so shallow and sandy after that I can’t imagine it being an issue. Loved sitting on the dock enjoying the views! We also made a day trip to Eagles Nest hiking trail in Calabogie which was a highlight of the trip. Carla was super responsive, attentive, accommodating and friendly!
