There is in-floor heat in the bathroom, a full-size washer and dryer and the bedrooms have wall-mounted AC. You will have your own private deck with gas grill, and access to Mirror Lake. Quaint Adirondack lodge located on the Iron Man Lake Placid Bike Route. This is an beautiful vacation getaway for couples families & people looking for peace & quiet. We are a mile from Wilmington Town center, 5 miles to Whiteface Mountain, 20 minutes to Lake Placid. We are located 100 yards from the downtown area, and 300 yards from Lake Flower, but in a nice residential spot. We grow our own food in our front yard and on our large porch. House is over 100 years old, comfortably furnished. Style is "Early American Garage Sale." Very close to canoe and kayak rentals, and minutes away from 3 boat launches and boat rentals. 1 block from new Adirondack RAIL TRAIL. Your hosts were involved in eco-tourism for many years and can provide a wealth of information.

The lake offers sweeping views of Ampersand and the surrounding mountains.
