Terrific in-town location and a comfortable place to stay!

This is a wonderful place to explore the southern part of MDI. Close to Jordan Pond, 20 mins to Bar Harbor. Northeast harbor is a beautiful little town with good eating and shopping options. The staff was super friendly and responsive. Will definitely stay here again!

Great place. Very reasonable rates. Homemade bake goods for complementary breakfast a nice touch. Easy access to mountain, and beautiful to walk in the area.

Scott was an incredibly warm and welcoming host. He greeted my partner and I on check in, showed us around the property, and gave us great local recommendations for food. The room was very spacious with a cozy fireplace and awesome jacuzzi tub. The decor was tasteful and homey. The hot tub and sauna were such a nice touch and we enjoyed relaxing in them! We also appreciated the library, the coffee/tea, and pastries that were out. Breakfast was also delicious. We plan to come back very soon!

The house was the perfect amount of space for our family (a newborn baby) and our in-laws. We never felt cramped. The location to the beach was perfect for a walk on the beach with a coffee each morning. Only thing to note is that the washer and dryer are not in the unit, they are next door and they require an additional fee.

The Acadia Hotel was great! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate what we needed. It was such a lovely time, and I’d definitely stay again!

Meeting Leslie and staying/ dining in her Ironbound Restaurant & Inn was a highlight of our trip to Maine. We arrived a few hours before the dinner and Leslie introduced us a nice walk nearby to the ocean side before we had dinner at the restaurant. The room was clean and well decorated, full of Leslie’s personal touch that shows her great art taste. In the room we also found a print out of her great tips about exploring the Acadia area that you can hardly get elsewhere. Super great experience and I highly recommend!

Had rented for a 2 night stay and when we had arrived, they weren't expecting us until the following night. Despite the initial circumstances, they were very accommodating and got us into a room right away. The staff were incredibly friendly and felt like family almost immediately, like we were cousins they hadn't seen in so long. We didn't arrive at the best time of year due to the weather and recent snow storm; which only means we'll need to come back again for the true experience. Can't wait to come back!

Loved our stay at The Bethel Resort! We got an insane amount of snow while we were there. The room was warm and cozy despite the cold weather outside.

Great location, property is clean and super cute. Pool was nice and the breakfast spread was good. All in all, 5 stars and would definitely stay here again.

I was so grateful to find this listing after needing a place to stay with an early check in for my pet. Purvin accommodated us and provided a comfortable stay. We loved this cottage! It had everything we needed, was clean and bright, styled beautifully. We enjoyed borrowing records from the office to listen to. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. An easy drive to downtown and other points of interest. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

My 12 day stay at The Elms was wonderful. The River Room is delightful, spacious, well decorated and has a beautiful view over the river. Greg was very responsive and I could reach him on the phone on the couple of times I had a question. I'm already looking at dates to return.
