We were visiting family nearby and were so pleased with this home. It was quirky and full of character. The secure garden was perfect and everything was so neat and proper. It had excellent facilities and the little touches like coffee, tea and milk were perfect. The fact that dogs are allowed was very welcoming and kind. The only thing was the main road was quite loud but just bring some ear plugs and you’ll be absolutely fine. It’s worth it for this property which has everything you could need in a very beautiful village. We would 100% return if we came back to the area.

A group of us stayed for a hen do and the house was perfect plenty of beds, bathrooms and space to socialise the weather was good and the garden had plenty of seating to enjoy the sun! The house is very well equipped with little extras like cocktail shakers, afternoon tea stands, games cupboard, books all the little details that make a stay like a home from home and perfect for hosting celebrations or equally family getaways. Easy access to Liverpool but we also thoroughly enjoyed a meal at the local so salsa tapas bar and a trip to the bus yard on the beach at Crosby marina if you don’t want to go into the city centre. Thank-you Catherine and Claire for being perfect hosts we would recommend your air b n b to anyone !

We had a great stay! The property was nice, clean, and well presented, exactly as described. We really appreciated that the host accepted our booking on short notice—it made things so much easier. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and we’d happily stay here again in the future.

Great place, well equipped, really spacious and very comfortable. we used the Mersey-rail from west Kirby for all our days out it’s a really amazing service.

This is the 1st time using Katie’s Airbnb and it matched everything we were looking for. We had 2 nights to see family and it was great. Unlike most Airbnb’s this felt like a home. All the utensils were useable and not cheap options, the property was superbly presented and Katie was really attentive to our early check in needs. Beautiful home , responsive and helpful host . House is fab, clean , tidy and spacious . Great power shower and really comfy beds! Perfect place to stay to visit Liverpool . Local amenities on the door step , restaurants, bars and local supermarket alongside a huge park to explore . Bus ride or ten minute taxi ride to the centre. Highly recommended and will be staying again .

We had a fabulous stay here - perfect location for getting in and out of town, and plenty of local amenities. The host met us at the property and showed us round the home which was a big help, and they had also left some bread and milk. They had kindly left some sweeties and colouring in for the kids too! The house is beautiful and beds very comfortable. We would definitely use this Airbnb again when we come back!

Great stay over the Easter weekend, Greg is a fantastic host, allowed us to check in early and even posted a bag back to us that we had accidentally left. House plenty big enough for the 3 adults and 3 kids, big beds were very comfy but kids mattresses were quite thin and they said they were a little uncomfortable, but safe to say they managed for 3 nights! As it was Easter we understandably paid a premium and at £450 a night felt the accommodation was showing some wear and tear in places. Note it is cheaper at most other times so is still value for money. Would recommend property if staying in the area with family.

Great place to stay - some nice restaurants and pubs We used it to commute down to aintree in Liverpool, train was around 45 mins. Comfy space, easy to find and was perfect for what we needed

I had a brilliant stay in the Annexe! It is very private, I loved sitting in the yard in the sunshine! The apartment is absolutely beautiful.. huge comfy bed with gorgeous Dusk linen, really stylish bathroom and a kitchen with everything you could want. It’s light, airy and has lovely bright pictures and plants. I can’t recommend it highly enough! I will definitely go back!

The flat was gorgeous, lush soft carpets, warm, bright, gorgeous decor and interesting books to peruse. Jane really has her eye in with hospitality and there were cookies and tea, a whole bottle of proper milk and orange juice. Lots of lovely touches that made it feel like a home from home. The location is quiet overlooking the Mersey river, which is tidal and turns into a beach in the morning! Its a short walk to the ferry over to Liverpool (if its running) or bus to train /taxi ride over to all the attractions. I would highly recommend this apartment and we enjoyed the quiet away from the city too. Thank you Jane!

Just back from a 2week stay and it truly was a home from home,wanted for nothing lovely welcome drinks and coffee for arrival, Everything was spotless bedding and towels aplenty and sooo fluffy,even a borrow box which is ideal for items you may have forgot.Highly recommended and would have no hesitation of rebooking loved the place,parking is free after 6pm but there are some streets that are free a few mins walk away.

Stayed at Helen's place due to working locally for a few days. Helen was very friendly and helpful welcoming. The place was great. Had everything I needed and felt very homely. Location was perfect for me as it was only a few minutes from where I was working. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay. John was a great host - very relaxed, welcoming and friendly. The apartment really was beautiful- so much space & so beautifully decorated- I loved spending 2 days pretending it was mine! Perfectly located for Lark Lane and very close to the city centre, this is a place I would certainly return to and recommend!

Kara’s place was lovely and we very much enjoyed our stay. -Parking was easy to find along with the lockbox key. -Kitchen was spotless. -Bedroom and bathroom was lovely and clean. -The flat was near some local pubs and restaurants within walking distance which is a lovely option to have. A most beautiful apartment in a very calm area within 20 mins walking into Liverpool centre. When we were shown around it immediately felt like home. A calm oasis in the heart of a brilliant friendly city. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be returning.

Lovely little flat with just all the basics for a short stay. Walking distance to plenty of shops and nice restaurants. Only stayed for one night but was perfect for what I wanted (shower eat sleep and head home the next day) easy to find and very clear instructions from host and clear instructions inside regarding bins WiFi ect. Had a small issue with the shower draining but other than that no complaints. Handy little yard form my dog through a door in the bedroom.

Comfortable apartment in a great location - 5 minutes from beach and seafront with plenty of restaurants (downhill - not a problem for us but east to drive and park if necessary.) . Really appreciated the thought that had gone into making guests’ stays special with lots of thoughtful extras, including fantastic welcome hamper. Thank you! Much appreciated after a long drive on a bank holiday. Very comfortable beds- had a great night’s sleep; appreciated the music themed decor! Will definitely visit again.

The apartment is beautiful and very true to description. Amazing location and very well equipped. It is some walk from the other docks but worth it. Easily found. Claire was really helpful prior to our stay. We didn’t need to contact her during the stay due to no problems at all.

We really loved this penthouse apartment - it was conveniently located near the shop fronts, beach and train station. The interior and view are absolutely beautiful.

Mark is a 5⭐️ host. I have stayed in 3 of Mark’s apartments while working in Warrington over the past few months, and every stay has been perfect. His properties are beautifully done out and spotless every time, I felt right at home. Mark is also a brilliant host, he’s helpful and always goes above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Location can’t be beaten - surrounded by restaurants and and bars, city shops no more than 200met away and equal distance to Lime Street station and the Docks - perfect. To top it off the unit is spotless and super comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen (not that we used it much). Ensuite bathroom a little compact but it works. Would absolutely stay again.
