This was a very last minute booking and Dahami and his family made us feel very welcome right from the start. The accomodation was exactly as shown in the photos if not better. You have the whole top floor which has 2 spacious double rooms both en suite, a living area, a balcony and a fridge! Everything was very clean and tidy. The location is about 100m from the main road and a 10 minute walk to the far eastern side of Weligama beach (this end is much quieter than the main section of Weligama beach which is about another 20 minute pleasant beach walk) Dahami made us a lovely breakfast for an additional charge. We wanted to stay an extra night but he was already booked so he arranged for us to stay with his neighbour, a perfect solution. We would happily stay again and highly recommend

Lovely homestay in the middle of lush nature. Erandi makes a great host. The apartment has Aircon, kitchenette and beautiful terrace with view. Very safe and friendly, perfect to explore Midigama and enjoy activities at Senses. You want a scooter for convenience.

The place was lovely, right on the river front and absolutely peaceful. Its also very close to the beach and we would definitely recommend the place. Somehow the tuktuk price around the area were pretty outrageous, so if you have a rented or owned vehicle, it’ll make things a lot easier but that’s not on the host, they were absolutely amazing.

La ubicación es buenísima! Y súper fácil de encontrar, a pie de carretera en una de las mejores zonas de la costa de Sri Lanza. El anfitrión era muy amable y nos hizo sentir como en casa y por último la habitación muy limpia, bonita y amplia, con el detalle de primer baño que vemos que el agua caliente era sin aparato y salía mucho más caliente que los demás, gracias ☺️

This was the perfect stay for South Sri Lanka, just back from Weligama by only a few metres, so perfect walking distance to beach and restaurants. The lake setting is beautiful and we were hosted beautifully! Taxi organised and a scooter for two days! Brilliantly beautiful and would have stayed for longer!!!

Dies war von der Ausstattung her die beste Unterkunft die wir in Sri Lanka hatten. Es hat an nix gefehlt, wir hatten einen liebevollen Empfang und das Apartment ist toll. Ein super Bad, gute Küche und sehr schöne Betten. Restaurants waren zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Strand ist in 4 min zu Fuß zu erreichen und gleich auch eine super Surfschule dort. Es gab sogar ein super Internet, was nicht überall der Fall ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

הבית היה מדהים! היה נקי מאוד, היה מטבח קטן ונוח, היה מרווח מאוד. החצר הייתה מדהימה . על גדות הנהר. המיקום בסדר גמור. מרחק הליכה של 3 דקות לחוף. ובערך 7 דקות הליכה לאיזור התוסס של ווליגמה. המארח והמשפחה שלו היו נעים וחביבים. ממליצה מאוד!

Jeewantha is a fabulous host - great communication and very helpful. The villas are very spacious and situated in lovely surroundings. The setting is very peaceful and a nice refuge from the busyness of Weligama. Can highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at O2 Villa. Jeewanthi was a wonderful host and did everything he could to make our stay more comfortable. He met our driver on the road to guide us to the property. It’s off the main road and tricky to find initially but it’s a blessing as the property is a peaceful oasis away from the noise of the roads and town. There is a train track running nearby but we barely heard it and it passes very quickly. Look both ways when crossing the tracks and the road. The bathroom is large and very clean with plenty of hot water - one of the best we’ve experienced since arriving in India a month ago. The air conditioning works perfectly and is very quiet. A necessity in Sri Lanka for us northerners. The wifi is the best we’ve had in a month. We only used the kitchen to prepare fruit and snacks and it was adequate for that. Fruit and water can be bought from a lovely lady on the main road 150 metres from the apartment. The beach is a ten minute walk across the tracks and main road and is almost deserted. There is a small beach bar with chairs when you arrive at the beach and for the price of a drink you can stay as long as you want. They like everyone else on the beach are offering surf lessons as well. When we return to Sri Lanka we will be sure to stay at O2 Villa.
