Renta de chalets vacaconales en Magdalen Islands

Our family visited Cape Breton Highland National Park, and Darrell and Jocelyn’s family chalet in Capstick was the perfect base. The view from the deck was incredible, from sunrise over the ocean to catching shooting stars at night. The location is private and peaceful - not another house in sight, just ocean, mountain and trees. The chalet itself felt like home with comfy bed, well appointed kitchen, and clean bathroom. Our family enjoyed watching porpoises play in the ocean with binoculars right from the house. We got grocery from Cheticamp before coming to the chalet and enjoyed hiking and hanging out at the beach at Meat cove. What a gem - we hope to be back soon.

We stayed a full week at Cedar Peak and really enjoyed our time. The cabin sits hillside on a private lot with incredible views. It was the perfect space to call “home” while we explored the island. The interior is just like the photos. Very thoughtfully designed with lots of conveniences - dimmable lights, lots of electrical outlets, extra pillows, ceiling fans, 3 Smart TVs, folding chairs for the deck, and even a welcome basket of snacks and some basic groceries waiting in the fridge. There was really nothing missing! We visited in late October so many restaurants and shops were closed for the season - just something to be aware of. There are grocery stores nearby, including a small one right across the road. About 3 minutes down the road was a cafe called Cafe Les Suetes - would highly recommend looking them up and stopping in - the best meal we had all vacation! Driving the Cabot Trail, visiting Inverness Beach, and hiking Skyline Trail are all must-do activities nearby.

Staying at Veronica's chalet was an amazing choice for our trip to Cape Breton! The space is beautifully decorated and exudes a cozy charm that made us feel right at home. The stunning setting right in the Highlands, a short drive into Chéticamp, was perfect for us . Veronica was a fantastic host, providing thoughtful touches (homemade blueberry muffins) and clear communication for check-in and arrival. We highly recommend this chalet for anyone looking to spend time in a central location on Cape Breton, with easy access to the National Park. We will definitely stay here again!

Stayed for a weekend getaway to go skiing. The place was great. Lots of space felt like being at home. The house was well stocked with everything you need it. Location was ideal. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Well furnished secluded peaceful cottage within walking distance of the gypsum quarry lake. Very nice hosts who meet you in their vehicle to guide you to the property (which is slightly tricky to find.) If you’re not a fan of rustic, bumpy gravel roads, this might not be a perfect match for you.

J ai adoré votre petit endroit paisible aucun bruit aussitôt question demander aussitôt répondu excellent service adorer grande douche avec grande espace par contre il serait dommage de briser votre comptoir de cuisine une petite planche à couper serait pratique désolé d avoir changé le sofa de place mais beaucoup plus agréable de regarder à l extérieur et également la télévision je recommande fortement votre petite maison

Cozy and clean! Wifi isn’t great, neither is service but it was great to disconnect and enjoy the beautiful area! Definitely will stay again next time we hit the cabot trail!
