Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Our cabin's a win-win

In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. The Devils Lake Grand Cabin is a beautifully built Amish log cabin located next to the entrance of Devil’s Lake State Park (Wisconsin’s largest & busiest state park). It is also conveniently located only 8 miles from Devil’s Head Ski Resort, 15 miles from Cascade Mountain & just 15 miles from Wisconsin Dells. The Tumbled Rock Microbrewery/Restaurant has live music during the summer, which you can view from the front porch. The cabin boasts a huge backyard that your family & friends will enjoy.

Beautiful single room stone cabin with loft and wood burning stove. Two small beds in loft and futon on main floor folds out into full bed. Lots of room around to pitch tents as well. Situated on 40 acres of land with a pond, barn with basketball court, creek and Christmas tree fields.
