Thank you for an amazing stay, Marc! Your home is amazing, and it was the perfect weekend getaway to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday. We had plenty of space for everyone and especially enjoyed hanging out on the upper level of the dock. We will definitely be back!

Jennifer’s place is such a gem. If you like being on the lake and having all the toys and amenities already taken care of for you then this is your place. I have my own kayaks but it was nice to not to have to worry about bringing them. Kayaks for adults and kids, paddle boat, paddle board, beautiful deck, multiple ladders to get out after swimming. They have board games and a karaoke machine that was so fun. The porch was so nice and relaxing. Better than the pictures. You should stay here.

Great little place with comfortable beds. Just as depicted and described. A wonderful value for our quick trip to Lynchburg.

This house was so beautiful. It’s clear how much time, energy and love Kate put into this home. My husband, infant and dog stayed here for a night on a roadtrip. Kate had great recommendations in the welcome binder and we enjoyed a long walk on one of the local trails. We saw many interesting restaurants and shops that we wish we could have visited. The house was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Kate was extra accommodating for our unique travel needs!

Wow- what an amazing place! Tim’s Firestation4 is as advertised, an old but beautifully renovated and welcoming fire station.Tim was responsive and helpful our entire time stay. The beds were comfortable, plenty of bedding and pillows. Sofa and side chairs were perfect for watching movies, chatting and relaxing. Kitchen area was perfect for cooking with large table for family style dinners. Alot, if not all necessary cooking utensils/pots/trays needed for making meals were provided. Coffee station was a big hit for us! The inside being industrial style (floors) was great as we brought 2 dogs. They could roam inside with no worries and the yards were great for frequent outside breaks.

My friend and I had an incredible stay at Michelle's place! The cabin was exactly as described and had a lot of privacy. The surroundings were beautiful - the best part was the riding stables only a four minute drive away. Definitely go for a ride and stop by the petting zoo:) Look forward to staying in the future!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Angelica is an excellent host, very clear with communications and quick to respond to questions. The space was perfect, well equipped, clean and comfortable. There’s a lot of love scattered throughout the space with snacks, drinks, pet treats and other little essentials. We will stay here again….

I loved staying at Mariners Landing in this lovely condo. It was perfect for a peaceful couple of nights away in the "off season" though any season at Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! I enjoyed the amenities including the indoor pool, game room, and beach area, and had a fabulous meal from Bruno's Clubhouse. The condo was beautifully decorated and I spent a lot of time on the lakefront balcony. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Had a wonderful time with the family, Tammy was a great host! Very responsive and communicative. Definitely a better fit for older kids (the hills 🤣), but Tammy had ALL the essentials for babies to be accommodated and right at home! And the littles loved fishing too. It was an excellent spring break for us!

Another great stay for us, we always feel right at home. This was the first time our dogs got to see chickens and they were thoroughly entertained. Thanks for the hospitality, we will definitely be back.

Karen was very pleasant & quick to respond. We rented her home for our son’s wedding. She gave great recommendations & took care of a problem right upon arrival. The home was beautiful, we had plenty of space for our family & loved being able to bring our dog. The master bath floor & tub wasn’t the cleanest, I don’t blame that at all on the host, I’m sure it can be hard with cleaners managing a property. And the steps going upstairs weren’t swept. I didn’t want to bother her again, as she had already taken care of a problem for us earlier, so we just went with it, it wasn’t unbearable. Beds were comfy. Towels were nice, washcloths may need a little updating, but overall, it was what we needed & served its purpose.

They were amazing to work with. Had to find a place on short notice. They were great! Too our last minute reservation and gave us recommendations for the local area even with weather conditions not being the greatest!

Fran was an exceptional host, and the yurt was such a fun way to ring in the New Year. I won't mince words: it was chilly, but the buddy heater was a welcome amenity, and the bed was beyond comfy and piled high with blankets. The bathhouse 250 steps away was terrific, but by far and away my favorite perk was the en suite--the composting toilet around the corner on the deck, something I didn't know about until I arrived! Fran thinks of everything, and, given I was starving on arrival, the freshly baked bread was such a welcome treat. If you're a beer drinker, don't miss Blue Mountain Barrel House & Smokin' Barrel Restaurant. Thank you, Fran!

It truly felt like our home away from home! Cozy, quiet and comfortable! Home was clean, had everything we needed! We had coffee outside in the morning to really enjoy the views! Martha was super responsive, welcoming and made sure our needs were met! Highly recommend!! Thank you thank you!!!

I loved everything about this home. Parking was available, quiet home , very clean , decorated nicely , honestly it felt like home away from home . Very cozy ! Thank you so much for letting me stay in your home !

The cottage was exactly as described. Out in the country with only cows, deer and rabbits in sight. Sunrise and sunset with the mountains in full view has my wife and I wanting to move to a location like this. All the privacy you could ask for and still within minutes of a Dollar General, gas stations, restaurants, breweries and wineries. Only 45 minutes south of Wintergreen Resort Spa (which we recommend for massages). We wanted a quiet and relaxing weekend, and that is exactly what we got. Highly recommend staying at Martha’s Cottage!

We spent the weekend here for my mom’s birthday and it was prettier in person!! Inside and out! This was the most well equipped bnb I’ve stayed at so far. If there was anything you forgot to pack.. no problem, it was already there. The neighbors have an old dog that spent the weekend out back with us. The house was clean, comfy, and felt like a home away from home.

Beautiful home and setting as described. The home is very well equipped. Megan was an excellent communicator. Very nice firepit and Adirondack chairs. Proximity and view to the lake was great. if you are a boater, like to fish and enjoy quiet lake life this is great.
