Loved the yurt! The location is perfect - near all the outdoor activities in the area. As well, close to many vineyards. I really liked the yurt style… simple, easy. And the out door bathtub/shower was a bonus! It was such a peaceful place…. Loved that it did not have a TV. Stayed an extra night we liked it so much.

A lovely and comfortable tiny home with everything you need in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Surrounded by mountains, breweries, and wineries, there are endless things to do during a weekend away. We will definitely being staying here again.

This was by far the nicest AirBnb my boyfriend and I have stayed in thus far - the view is just unbeatable! Becky's place is the exact woodsy getaway I was searching for - lots of hiking trails nearby, cozy decor, and a true feeling of isolation that comes with being secluded up in the mountains. What I most appreciated was Becky and Aaron's attention to detail: snacks and two soft drinks upon arrival, a thorough binder of dining/things to do in the area, a take-home post card to remember the trip, and more! Our only downside was the lack of restaurants immediately nearby. Wintergreen itself lacks a wide variety of food options, and the next closest options are all the way down the mountain, about 20 minutes from the AirBnb. That being said, I would stay here again - the quaintness and serenity of the apartment is worth the mediocre resort food.

Gloria's place was wonderful and exactly what we were looking for as our first experience staying in a tiny house. Despite its size, it felt like there was space for everything and nothing was missing. My family of four (2 adults, 2 small children) were happily housed for a night in the spring. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the yard with the fire on and the lights adding ambiance. My daughters especially enjoyed the hammock! The house was well-stocked with items, from books to bug spray, but I have to give special kudos to the snacks! I've never stayed somewhere better stocked. The one minor caveat: This was our first experience with a composting toilet, and the odor in the bathroom was a little unpleasant. But we just kept the bathroom door closed and it was not a problem whatsoever!

We were extremely pleased with the hospitality that Charles and Monika provided for us at their AirBnB. The property is quiet and secluded but is also within minutes of several hiking trails and breweries. The day we arrived it was raining and fairly chilly, but the heater and blankets in the yurt kept us warm and comfortable. There were several amenities such as wifi, electricity, coffee, teas, fresh spring water, and utinsils for dining. The restroom is a composting toilet and the temperature controlled shower utilizes rainwater, emphasizing sustainability. The property also featured a garden, greenhouse for vegetables, fire pit, and hammock. We will definitely be back for future adventures.

We loved staying at Sweet Darling! It’s a charming little house - great kitchen with everything you need, quiet neighborhood, very comfortable beds, many thoughtful touches throughout including coffee and bottled water, nice location not far from downtown. Annie’s a terrific host - quick to respond and offer any help needed. Staunton’s a fun place to explore, and the countryside around is beautiful. Perfect Airbnb vacation!

We were looking for a last minute get-away for our 11th wedding anniversary and Jamie's place checked all the boxes. The condo was pristine inside & had everything one could need. & the coffee and tea selections were great. Loved that there were two full baths - we had a HIS and HERS. The view out the back... WOW! Absolutely stunning & if you're a morning person like I am, you will love the sunrises. Highly recommend visiting Fire & Frost which is a very short distance from the condo. We stopped in upon arrival and took a delicious homemade pizza to the condo for dinner and stopped by again on Sunday morning after checking out for an awesome homemade danish and coffee. For dinner, be sure to visit Basic Necessities. Only suggestion if you stay is to bring your own pillows. We found the ones there to be VERY VERY firm and hard to sleep on b/c they were ... well.. like laying your head on a sofa cushion. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

This is a fabulous home in a great location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very proactive and made our stay even more enjoyable. The home is stocked with every amenity imaginable. We definitely recommend this mountain gem and will be back!
