This was a return trip for me. I love the space and the location. Walkable to town and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. Everything is easy about this space; it's well-equipped and very comfortable. Melinda's a great host!

Exemplary accommodations! Everything about this place is well thought out and comfortable. (Every AirBnB host should do what Shirley did - label the light switches.) It's those intuitive touches that make this a great place to stay. We were close to family events in Norfolk, plus restaurants and amenities in Canaan. You really can't beat this experience. We were not able to make friends with the barn cat, but we tried!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Greg's property. From the moment I booked, communication was clear and prompt. They provided detailed instructions for check-in, which made the arrival process seamless. The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. We have previously stayed at another one of Eddy's properties, so we already had high expectations and they were all definitely met! Everything is exactly as described and lots of amenities available. We like how stocked the kitchen and bathroom is - it's super convenient and helpful to not have to think of those details. few mentions for future stays - we came on an unseasonably cold day and had to turn the heat up (all works perfectly) and benefitted from bringing our slippers/warm socks because the floor is a bit cold. Thoughtfully, there were rubber slides available for use! Also, getting in got a little confusing in the dark - our GPS told us we arrived when we were on the opposite side of the house. So just a heads up to anyone coming in, take a look at the map before driving in the dark :D

wao me encantó quedarme, el apartamento precioso y se ve más bello en persona que en las fotos. el anfitrión exelente tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo por que no podía conectar en aire acondicionado y llego en 10 minutos eso me encantó. lugar todo cerca resturante, wal mart,panaderías, mall waoo todo muy bello me sentí de maravilla quedarme hay. definitivamente me volvería a quedar otra vez.

The perfect home away from home in every way. The hosts are excellent and responsive. I noticed a problem with the heating system during my last stay and it was fixed by this trip. Not only that, they added a space heater to make sure guests would be fully covered during these cold days. The commitment to guest comfort is a clear priority. I also appreciated the flexibility with a later check out time.

Venu voir ma fille qui est au pair à Pawling, ce logement proposé par Ed a été parfait. A notre arrivée, le logement était très propre. Pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner comme moi, vous y trouverez bien plus que dans d'autres logements, comme par exemple des poêles de marque Scanpan (marque danoise de très haute qualité, j'adore :-)), grand frigo, grand four, grand micro-ondes... Pour ceux qui aiment faire la lessive (je ne peux pas croire que des gens comme ça existent ;-)), vous avez un énorme lave-linge et un énorme sèche-linge. Les lits étaient également très confortables ! Mon seul regret c'est de n'être pas resté plus longtemps :-)

I chose Marlene’s lovely spot primarily because it was in a location convenient for short trips to visit family and friends in Wallingford, Middlebury and Middletown while on my way south from New Hampshire. The peaceful, quiet surroundings along with a spotless, well-appointed accommodation made it very appealing: highly recommended.

Really loved this airbnb! Would stay again! I love the lay out gives everyone a ton of space and was super clean. Easy 15 minute drive to most places we visited in New Haven. The only things that weren’t an issue for us but to keep in mind was the one bathroom for large groups, that can be challenging. Also, the ceilings are on the lower end for anyone over 6ft, my boyfriend had to watch his head at the doorways. Under 6 you are all good though. Lastly, one of the bedrooms has a bedroom behind it. This was not an issue at all for his but just to note. We did love that the entrance way has doors that you can close, so we actually used that as a sleeping space to have everyone more separated. We were a group of 7 and had a ton of room. All bedrooms are a pretty good size as well.

We had a wonderful week at Corina's house while out for a family event! The house was spotless and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. The outside space was just as amazing. We had a great campfire one night, enjoyed using the grill, and our dog loved being able to run around the large yard. I'm sure we'll be back next year!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this Airbnb, I like it because it's not too far from stuff to do or places to eat. It's also really close to all of my friends houses which was nice. Usually pretty quiet, rarely had some cars go by that were loud but other than that, it was pretty quiet. If you plan on staying in Meriden for a week or two, I would recommend this Airbnb because it's good for its value. The host is also very helpful, any issue I had, I would just let her know and she would get it fixed ASAP. Very friendly and responded rather often, even if she was busy.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

We loved our stay at Sahra's place! Not only is it exactly as pictured, we really appreciated the extra touches like the tea selection and thoughtful goodies which made us feel at home. The house is very clean. The sofa and chair are very comfortable and recline which makes for relaxing TV-watching, a nice touch. Sahra is very personable and responsive which we loved - she even brought us some of her yummy homemade goodies! We will definitely return.

A perfect place for our family trip. Nestled in a peaceful beautiful area, close to the pond/lake. The home was so cozy and Monika was so responsive to our messages. Definitely would stay there again

My family and I had a great stay here. The house was decorated nicely and it was warm and inviting. It was perfect for my family of 4. The beds were super comfortable. The only complaint we had was the heat in the house. We would make sure the heat was set to 71 at night (we stayed during a cold month in CT) and we would wake up freezing to 66 degrees. I addressed this with the host and she fixed the settings immediately. It worked for a few days but then we would get cold bursts of air and the temp would drop again. The upstairs level was a lot more cold because of the AC's in each bedroom which we felt a draft from the windows. Other than that everything was great. Easy to get in with the code and easy access to highways. Drene was a great responsive host who seemed like she care about her guests.

Pacers Pasture is on a quiet road giving it a cute country experience in a great small town. The space has an amazing unfenced yard which was great for the dogs. Easy access inside with key entry, and we loved the door entry being toward the back of house for added privacy. The house has very comfortable linens, tons of parking, and the hottest water ever - which was perfect after a cold day adventuring. Aaron provides toiletries, some nice kitchen basics likes spices and teas/coffee, fast wifi-TV streaming, and a cozy space perfect for relaxing. Bonus points for being tastefully decorated and not overly cluttered. Would stay again!

Sheryl was great. I was in town for a conference and my schedule got thrown off by traffic on 95. She was very understanding and flexible with making my arrival time work. Once we met to get keys and a quick tour of the place she remained a phone call away but otherwise left us to enjoy the space. The other inhabitants of the place were very laid back and nice - that being said I was so busy with a conference that I was barely around. Not the Ritz but a HUGE savings over staying at any hotel downtown even if it's not right downtown. Splurge on some cabs and you are still saving money.

Muna is an awesome host. She is super responsive and always gives us good advise. We had a long stay and the place is very warm, clean, and very comfortable. Excellent location with everything you need, we had a wonderful stay and family vacation at her place. Thank you once again Muna, we look forward to come back again!

I had a busy time at a conference and art opening, but Brittany's place was a great place to settle in and be restfully restored for the next day. Very friendly and helpful.

We loved Jane and Earl’s place and will highly recommend everyone! Jane and Earl communicated clearly and were extremely proactive to respond back to us. We appreciate all their help during our stay a lot.

The next time I plan to visit Connecticut, I will definitely consider staying here again. The location was fantastic, offering beautiful views of downtown Hartford. It was a peaceful area with friendly neighbors, and the front desk staff was incredibly helpful. The only downside I encountered was that when I first walked into the apartment, it had a musty smell in the hallway due to a lack of air fresheners, and the TV remote wasn't working. However, after I reached out to the staff about the issues, I received new batteries and a wall plug from his assistant in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the remote still didn’t work, so I ended up using the Roku remote on my phone. Coming from a real estate background, I’d say the place is a bit overpriced, mainly due to the building’s condition; it feels somewhat rundown. Still, I’d rate it a solid 8.8 out of 10 overall. Brain thanks for hosting me.
