Chalet très accueillant, excellent rapport qualité/prix ! Tout correspondait à la description c'était parfait! Le seul bémol étant la qualité de la vaisselle quand nous sommes arrivés, les ustensiles étaient rangés sales dans les placards, mais avec le lave-vaisselle à disposition, le problème a été résolu en un temps record. Tout le reste était parfaitement propre, c'est n'est qu'un détail qui n'a absolument pas dérangé notre séjour ! Mention spéciale aux peignoirs mis à disposition pour aller profiter des sauna et jaccuzzi, ils sont très appréciés !

Chouette chalet très bien situé pour aller profiter de la montagne. Les escaliers vers le lac étaient dégagés ce qui était agréable. Les chalet n’a pas de lave vaisselle mais la disposition de la cuisine permet de faire la vaisselle facilement

If I could rate this place in one sentence it would be "we wished we lived here". Everyone in my family (dog included) loved the property. It was CLEAN, nice, spacious, warm and exactly as what you see in the photos. We didn't use the indoor fireplace at all as the home was well heated (I get cold easily too). The living room makes you feel very cozy when the sunsets and watching the stars at night here is breathtaking. The hosts sends you a PDF guide prior to your arrival so you know what to expect and a hard copy is available onsite as well. We mainly communicated with Foad and he was very responsive, kind and really helped us out when we got lost on our way there. Quick tip: use Google Maps! The hosts also provided complimentary chocolate and champagne when you arrive which was an added bonus. I'm also very thankful for the complimentary Keurig/ hot chocolate! Will definitely revisit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Eliane’s place! The cottage was very comfortable, very spacious, well decorated and very clean. The place is very quiet and peaceful and has a beautiful view on the Ottawa River. We would stay there any time again.

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Great host he is very helpful and understanding, the place is a very relaxing and cozy with lots of amenities. Would definitely recommend.

Rebecca’s place felt like home away from home as soon as you stepped inside. It had lots of seating and was very comfortable. Even though the lake was still frozen over the grounds were so nice we were able to spend lots of time outside with the dogs. It’s hard to find this level of accommodation that also accepts pets. There were dog beds and gates set up that made having our dogs there easy and safe but no sign of other pets having been there like smell or hair making it ideal for those who aren’t with pets as well. Hot tub was well maintained and gorgeous views! All amenities needed and beautiful bathrooms. Felt like a 5 star hotel with cottage amenities with the layout, items provided and decor. Would 10/10 stay again! Looking forward to heading back when the weather is nice for some time on the lake and in the walkable shoreline! Thanks again Rebecca!

The consensus by our whole party was that Ashley's cottage stands out because of all the extra thoughtful amenities: snow shows, extra towels, candles, tea, coffee, every kitchen utensil imaginable, games, puzzles, cozy blankets, hammocks, and so much more. The cottage was clean and well laid out. Beds and linens were great. There are some nice hiking spots in the area. We really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub with a view of the lake.

The cottage was surrounded by beautiful views, had a comfy interior and was close to excellent trails. It had everything we needed to make wonderful meals, enjoy a fire, and relax the time away! We really enjoyed hiking to the view point on bear mountain. Remember to bring all supplies as we ran into a situation where we didn’t bring shampoo/conditioner, etc. The cottage has a few decks, all with comfortable seating and great views. If you’re looking for a quiet spot, close to nature and the lake then this is your place :)

It was a wonderful cottage in a beautiful setting. Sparkling clean, well furnished, with more amenities than you could ever imagine. We stayed for 3 days but wish it could have been 3 weeks.

My family and I were happy to stay at this rental property for a second time over the Easter long weekend. Barry continues to be a great host. The home remains spacious enough for a big family (and dog!), while remaining cozy and comfortable. We had yet another peaceful weekend in the Valley. Thank you for your hospitality once again, Barry! We look forward to our next visit.

Jim’s place was great and had absolutely everything we needed (well stocked on coffee, tea, spices etc). My two sisters and I went up for a quiet getaway for a few days and it was just lovely. The cottage itself is beautiful and so is the property. We came during winter and it was still gorgeous but we can only imagine how extremely beautiful it is in summer when you can enjoy more time outside. Everything was so clean inside and they had thought of tons of small things to keep us comfortable. Well worth the drive and visit to this beautiful place and we would love to come again!

We enjoyed a lovely week at Matt's place on Lake Clear. The cottage was very clean and had enough room for us to spread out. We loved spending time down by the bunk house over looking the water. The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.

Lovely cottage on lake Mississipi that was perfect for 4 people and our puppies. Wonderful communication and easy check in and out process. Good distance from Carleton which has access to all you need. cozy stay.

This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end avec des amis, la saison ne nous a pas permis d'exploiter tout le potentiel du chalet mais nous avons quand même pu faire du canoë sur le lac. Le chalet est assez spacieux pour 8 personnes et très agréable à vivre ! Julie est une hôte accommodante et très réactive. Nous la remercions encore de nous avoir accueillis si gentiment dans son chalet familial.

We really enjoyed our stay - nice and quiet area and a great base for exploring Manitou mountain and calabogie peaks resort. Clean and tidy. Recommend!

This was a great location and cottage. There was nothing major to comment on. It would have been nice if there were trails within walking distance but there's lots to do at the cottage itself (canoes, kayaks, pool table, lots of lawn space). There was a good, comfortable amount of space for all of our guests to have their own room. Ping was very responsive when messaged with any questions.

Wow! This private 5 bedroom wooden log house was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by its cozy, rustic appeal. The firepit was a huge highlight – perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. And the hot tub? Pure bliss after a day of exploring. The kitchen was another standout feature. It was incredibly well-equipped with absolutely everything we needed to cook delicious meals. We really appreciated having all the necessary appliances and even some extras. Beyond the amazing amenities, the house itself was spotless, comfortable (especially the beds and pillows), and beautifully maintained. oh, and did I mention Arunraj was a very responsive host! It truly felt like a home away from home. We didn't want to leave! We wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb for a memorable and relaxing getaway. Five stars all the way!

We had the best weekend! The house is perfect. Fully equipped with everything you could need and decorated so lovely- I can’t think of anything I’d want different. The location is idyllic- peaceful, beautiful, yet very convenient to get to lovely local trails. Peter was incredibly friendly and quick to respond. I hope we get an opportunity to return as we would 100% recommend it!

My family of 11 (parents, grandparents, siblings, kids) had a lovely stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The cabins were so well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking etc, and Janet was quick to respond to any concerns and questions we had during our stay. The weather was lovely, the cabins were so charming and comfortable, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We would absolutely consider coming back again.

The house was just perfect for our family. We are a family of 4 and travelled to Ottawa to meet my sister in law and mother in law- but needed a space to be able to spend the weekend all together. Monica's place is quite large and has so many unique areas to hang out, that anyone wanting a quiet space could have it. In the summer it would have been even more amazing with all the beautiful decks on the house. The beds were all comfortable and bedrooms were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was large and generally had most supplies. It was a cold weekend with a lot of snow- Monica took care of regular snow cleaning and the house/every room was very comfortable and warm. Monica was very kind and responsive to questions. We would love to stay here again.
